Spitia Tzitzi

We had a wonderful stay at Spitia Tzitzi in Imerovigli. The location was perfect, with incredible caldera views, and we loved that it was much quieter than both Oia and Fira while still being easy to get around. Oia is just a short bus ride away, and Fira is an enjoyable 20-minute walk. We stayed in the Studio Apartment, which had everything we needed and was very comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast was delivered to our balcony each morning between 9am and 11am, which was a lovely way to start the day. I also appreciated the extra blanket in the wardrobe..it’s a small touch, but something many hotels overlook. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and communication was excellent. The only thing worth mentioning is that the listing gave us the impression there was a shared swimming pool on site. In fact, there isn’t a communal pool, only private hot tubs that come with certain room types. As we stayed in the Studio Apartment, we didn’t have either. It wasn’t a problem after the initial disappointment, but it’s worth knowing when choosing your room. What the Studio Apartment does have is plenty of outdoor space to relax. Our favourite thing to do each evening was watch the sunset from the large, comfortable daybed on the upper terrace. There’s also a great little cocktail bar less than a minute’s walk away. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Spitia Tzitzi. The location, views and peaceful atmosphere made it a wonderful base for for exploring Santorini.

Perfect location. Not only was this property breathtaking, with caldera views and watching the ships come and go, the service was personal and friendly. They offered assistance with anything you needed, verbally, through text, or through an app. The breakfast was first rate, delivered to your room, and almost too beautiful to eat. We even had a sweet cat visit our balcony daily. Themis and Maria are amazing people, and you will not regret staying here.
