All'ospite fuori dal Porto, i viaggiatori lodano costantemente Pietro e suo figlio per la calorosa e premurosa ospitalità e per i trasferimenti senza stress dalla stazione ferroviaria o dall'aeroporto al terminal dei traghetti, oltre a una posizione comoda e sicura vicino a ristoranti, al lungomare e alle navette per il porto.
Le camere sono semplici in stile guest house piuttosto che in stile hotel, con piccoli spazi comuni; diverse recensioni notano un arredamento datato, biancheria e materassi usurati e occasionalmente un po' di rumore, ma molti le trovano comunque confortevoli per un breve soggiorno pre-crociera. La pulizia è generalmente apprezzata, ma la colazione non è inclusa se non con caffè o tè istantaneo e le aspettative per un tradizionale B&B non corrispondono a quanto offerto. This place is ideal for a large family or 2 couples who wish to have a place by themselves. I state this because this guesthouse has a common entry/kitchen area that is shared with another room. Pietro and his son Gioele were great hosts in picking us up from the airport and dropping us off at the cruise terminal. They also provided info as to where the best places to dine.

No frills but very comfortable, easy access to the port area and convenient. Love the privacy and security. Pietro is a wonderful host, telling and showing us the various highlights of the city of Civitaveccia. Pietro even offers transportation from the airport to the room (there is a cost but, to us it was worth it). Hey drove us to the port, which decreased our stress level. We knew it was not a b&b but more like a mother-in-laws quarters. The is a small kitchen area with a kettle and instant coffee and some tea bags. There is also a covered mostly enclosed patio to relax in. The market is just a few blocks away and the sea wall was easy to walk to.

What a wonderful stay before I cruised from the port.Pietro met me at the station and then took me to the ship 2 days later. He recommended where to eat, where to shop, how to get to the beach. The stay was in a 2b apt, I was the only one there at the time. A small share kitchen, great (private) bathroom and nice outdoor seating. Secure and safe location.Hopefully I will return next year when I'm cruising again.

Property was as advertised, comfortable, secure and conveniently located. Pietro and his son both met us at the airport in Rome, and we chatted all the way back to Civitavecchia. Pietro drove us to the port entrance the next day. An excellent choice for a place to stay, for one night or more.

Pietro picked me up at the train and showed me how to walk to the port in the morning for my cruise- it’s very close. He had maps ready to find the center of Civitavecchia and could not have been nicer. The rooms and linens were clean and the beds very comfortable. Thank you Pietro!

Probably ok for the price. However unless you consider instant coffee and tea to be breakfast, referring to this place as a “Bed & Breakfast” is extremely misleading as there was no breakfast included. Room was dank and dark and outdated. Again I recognize we got what we paid for as all we were looking for was a place to sleep the night before our cruise.

We chose this B&B because it is close to the port. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you to the port. Pietro stayed in constant touch which was helpful. He provided directions to restaurants and to the shuttle. The place was clean. For a short stay it was good for us. Neighbor were loud. Overall I would stay here again.

Owners were kind, responsive and provided transportation to/from train and port, but the room was frumpy with cheap bedding and horrible pillows. Just 2 instant coffee/no creamer. Way overpriced.

Mattress was very worn with little support. Linens were low quality and rough. Staff was great, meeting us late for a personal check-in, making sure we knew where to go and finally getting us to our cruise ship with ease.

Pietro was so very helpful during our stay! Not only did he take us to the cruise port, he also picked us up at the train station beforehand. Beautiful and comfortable room. Would highly recommend!

We stayed one night before boarding our cruise. We arranged with Zi Piedro from the hotel to pick us up from the airport. He was on time and communicated with us regarding the pick up. He was polite and friendly and arranged for places for us to have lunch and dinner. He was a great help and made us feel so welcome. He carried our luggage to our room which was appreciated. He also went out if his way and took us to the shuttle to board out ship the next morning. Service was outstanding ! Thank you for making our first day in Italy so stress free!

The host was so helpful - he and his son picked us up at the airport, carried our luggage, helped us in and then gave clear instructions to get us to a nearby street with quaint, local restaurants. He made sure our following day arrangements were covered and gave us a ride to the cruise terminal. We highly recommend this.

Five stars to Pietro who picked us up from the airport and made sure we were comfortable in Civitavecchia. Pietro went above and beyond good service when he found my red sweater and took it to my cruise ship so that it wouldn't be left behind. I highly recommend this listing and The Marvelous Pietro

Pietro was amazing. He came and met us at the train station and had his son drive us to the property. We were also driven to the port the next day. The property was withing walking distance to the shopping mall, restaurants and the ocean. We could not ask for a better experience!
Pietro was amazing. He came and met us at the train station and had his son drive us to the property. We were also driven to the port the next day. The property was withing walking distance to the shopping mall, restaurants and the ocean. We could not ask for a better experience!

Ideal for short stay prior to boarding for our cruise from Civitavecchia. Pietro and his son Gioele are excellent hosts. Gioele picked us up frpm the airport as planned. He arrived on time and was a great company in the car. Pietro offered to take us to the port the next day, which was very nice of him. We walked around the community, which was quaint and lively. Overall, we are very satisfied and highly recommend this property.

Pietro and his son were great hosts. They were prompt picking us up from the airport and explaining the area. They were very friendly and Pietro dropped us off the next morning at the port to catch the cruise. It was door to door service! Grazie Mille!

No frills but very comfortable, easy access to the port area and convenient. Love the privacy and security. Pietro is a wonderful host, telling and showing us the various highlights of the city of Civitaveccia. Pietro even offers transportation from the airport to the room (there is a cost but, to us it was worth it). Hey drove us to the port, which decreased our stress level. We knew it was not a b&b but more like a mother-in-laws quarters. The is a small kitchen area with a kettle and instant coffee and some tea bags. There is also a covered mostly enclosed patio to relax in. The market is just a few blocks away and the sea wall was easy to walk to.

We chose this B&B because it is close to the port. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the shuttle that takes you to the port. Pietro stayed in constant touch which was helpful. He provided directions to restaurants and to the shuttle. The place was clean. For a short stay it was good for us. Neighbor were loud. Overall I would stay here again.

Pietro was the most gracious host. He picked us up from the train station and recommended MyLord for lunch which was excellent. Gave us directions to the city center and cruise port and was always smiling and helpful. Great location to walk to restaurants, attractions, market and the sea. Would stay here again

What a wonderful stay before I cruised from the port.Pietro met me at the station and then took me to the ship 2 days later. He recommended where to eat, where to shop, how to get to the beach. The stay was in a 2b apt, I was the only one there at the time. A small share kitchen, great (private) bathroom and nice outdoor seating. Secure and safe location.Hopefully I will return next year when I'm cruising again.

We stayed one night before boarding our cruise. We arranged with Zi Piedro from the hotel to pick us up from the airport. He was on time and communicated with us regarding the pick up. He was polite and friendly and arranged for places for us to have lunch and dinner. He was a great help and made us feel so welcome. He carried our luggage to our room which was appreciated. He also went out if his way and took us to the shuttle to board out ship the next morning. Service was outstanding ! Thank you for making our first day in Italy so stress free!

Wonderful stay at Guesthouse outside of Port. Pietro too great care of us, meeting us at the train station from Rome and driving us to the guesthouse. He even drove us to the port to the cruise terminal for our boat the next morning. The room is more like a guesthouse, not a hotel and is a little dated. But a GREAT stay because of services from Pietro. Great recommendation for food!

The host was so helpful - he and his son picked us up at the airport, carried our luggage, helped us in and then gave clear instructions to get us to a nearby street with quaint, local restaurants. He made sure our following day arrangements were covered and gave us a ride to the cruise terminal. We highly recommend this.

Probably ok for the price. However unless you consider instant coffee and tea to be breakfast, referring to this place as a “Bed & Breakfast” is extremely misleading as there was no breakfast included. Room was dank and dark and outdated. Again I recognize we got what we paid for as all we were looking for was a place to sleep the night before our cruise.

5 Star hospitality! Pietro was a perfect host. We stayed one night before boarding our cruise the next day. Pietro met us upon arrival, took care of our ridiculous amount of luggage, gave us very clear directions and even called and made dinner reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant. He drove us to the port in the morning and it was lovely to experience his hospitality! The accommodations were very basic, but had everything we needed. The room was clean and the a/c was nice and cool. We would 100% recommend!

Pietro was amazing! The room was clean, well furnished. His hospitality was top tier! He was waiting on the corner to greet us when our car pulled up, showed us our room and handled our luggage. He drove us to the port the next morning - the friendliest Italian we had encountered on our trip! 10/10, would definitely recommend and stay again!

The host Peter was very helpful. He made sure we had what we needed and answered all our questions. The room is tucked away behind an unassuming gate. You have to know where you are going to find it. Peter met us there and showed us around. While not the Taj Mahal the room was clean, a good size and very adequate for our needs. The air conditioner worked well. Self serve coffee and tea available. Short walk to restaurants, shopping and the waterfront. Peter took us to the port in the morning.
