Awesome location near restaurants, bars and the beach. Small balcony with table and chairs and a view of the ocean. Really cool rooftop deck with fire features and lots of seating.

Great locale!! Gorgeous room with no contact systems. Awesome roof top. Beds super comfy and quiet. You have to park two blocks away but super easy to get to; highly recommend

Loved this property. Loved the self checkin and the door code. Didn’t see any staff or another guest the entire 24 hours. But loved the room and the balcony and the roof. There are too many eating options in the area for the full kitchen and no good parking options. Had to pay meter at up to $2.50/h

Nice little find in Hermosa, close to ocean, dining, felt very safe. Small space with well appointed furnishings, cool upper deck with amazing sunset views. Parking an issue, not unusual for Hermosa in the summer. Overall, nice stay!

Beautiful brand new hotel steps from one of the best beaches in SoCal. Full kitchen perfect for families or for your leftovers from the many excellent restaurants right outside your door. Great communication with staff via text and the rooftop deck is fabulous! No elevator but groundfloor is completely accessible. I will definitely be back!

The bed was comfortable, parking was very limited, but not a big deal. Enjoyed having Netflix on TV for free. convenient location to the beach. Would definitely return.

Clean room with stove and balcony. Easy access to room. No cold water to the shower, shower fan not working, sink didn't drain, drain plug wouldnt budge. Roof top was rented out but there were no signs to say private party so when I went on the roof I was followed around a bit aggressively and then told it was a private party. I thought it was just guests. Overall I would stay again, though not without a chat with the the front desk first.

Very close to all the action, beautiful and comfortable too! Loved having access to bikes and volleyballs. The upper hangout deck was super nice to hang with local family. The chairs and umbrella in the room was also nice to have for the beach.

It was clean, and new. The roof top is awesome. Also nice amenities of bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels. Definitely recommend

Great location. Many restaurants and supe close to the strand. Cool rooftop area that overlooked the ocean and surrounding area. Bikes available to borrow. Only challenge is the parking.

Well, let’s just say we were coming in for one night and we decided we to stay for a second night. This place was in the perfect location, one street off the strand. The check in was super easy, we received a code before we arrived. We arrived four hours early and Jessica was at the front desk and she had a place for us to lock up our luggage until the room was ready. The room we were staying in had a late check out but it was still cleaned and sanitized, and made available two hours before check-in, very accommodating. The hotel has an electronic lock on the front door just to get into the hotel itself. The rooms have separate electronic locks with different codes. We stayed in 105, which had a small balcony to have coffee in the morning. Everything you needed in this cute little place. If you walk upstairs to the rooftop, they have a very spacious nicely decorated area for groups to sit on nice patio furniture with coffee table top heaters for each conversation area. An outside barrier wall made of glass to break down any cold breeze to make it more comfortable if you are sitting having a conversation. You also have a great view of the beach from the rooftop. We went to the comedy club that Jay Leno performs at, and it was literally 30 steps from the hotel. The parking in Hermosa has always been terrible. Overall, this was a great place to stay for what we needed. Sandra and Jessica were very accommodating and super nice! My wife and I will definitely be back.

I truly loved this hotel. It’s in a great location, right next to the pier. My room was spotless. I will definitely be staying there again.

It was basically fine, overpriced and nothing really special. Saying our room had an ocean view was ridiculous. You had to stand on the tiny balcony overlooking a busy public parking lot and crane your neck to see a sliver of ocean through the buildings. And that little balcony with doors directly into our room was also accessible to anybody in the building through another set of common doors off the adjacent hallway. Anyone could walk up to our glass doors. Amenities were as basic as could be, 2 coffee pods and some packets of sugar. The room didn’t get cleaned during our 2 night stay. The property was well located for our needs and had a cool rooftop, but I wouldn’t spend the $$ to stay there again.

What a gem! Our stay was fantastic. Steps from beach and dining. Very clean. Quiet and fantastic private rooftop for sunsets. We had smaller room but it was nice and perfect for long weekend. Beach towels and chairs provided in room which was great as out of towner! Very positive stay all around!

The area that the hotel was in was nice but the parking lot was a 5 minute walk. Shower was claustrophobic, microwave was dirty and sheet inside the duvet was all at the bottom, pulling the duvet onto the floor. No table in the living room to eat on, and the garbage bin was right next to the fridge.

Information provided on their website is incorrect. The website says to park down the street in a parking garage on level 3 and they would issue you a parking pass. That was false. I had asked how to obtain a parking pass and no one ever responded. I emailed and called multiple times. Had to pay for parking that was not discounted or provided. Next, our room was on the ground floor, ok that’s fine but all the “coded entry” doors were wide open and anyone could come and go. Our room did not have any soap in the shower but you could not contact anyone about it. Walls/ceilings are very thin and we unfortunately had people above us who were partying literally all night. We left at 9 am and they were still up and making noise. Again, there’s no one in the lobby or anyone you could contact about it. Our bathroom was a bit musty and run down. Our “balcony or patio” was an enclosed space with tables and chairs. Too many things wrong for the price that they are charging. Would not stay here again, especially with the lack of communication and help.

This was our first time staying here. My husband and I have been to the Hermosa area several times over the past few years and this hotel was just awesome. We were very close to the beach. We absolutely loved our stay! This property is kept very clean and has everything available for use during your stay. The staff were amazing. We will be returning again soon.

Hotel is super modern with a cozy boutique room. Staff are fantastic and owner is really nice! The queen bed was comfy and bathrooms are amazing! Rooftop is beautiful and you can see the beach and enjoy a sunset. They have bike rental too. Easy walk to the beach and multiple coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Definitely recommend staying here! We will re-book on our next trip to LA.

Great location near beach and nightlife. Lovely rooftop. Complementary bikes were nice. But our room had no windows and was loud mornings as cleaning crew worked.

The hotel and the room itself were very nice, but I was in a suite that was on the ground floor at the front entrance. The room backed up to a restaurant and I could hear the music they were playing in the restaurant until nearly midnight. The guests staying in the room above me were up until nearly 4am and I was woken up to them walking around for hours. There's zero sound proofing and you can hear the noise from every angle around you. On top of that, there was some sort of electrical issue where the light on the fan kept turning on in the middle of the night. I'd be woken up to full light in the room. And finally, the AC unit would not work. I will not be staying there again.

The hotel is in a perfect location right off the Pier in the heart of Hermosa Beach. The room is cute, cozy and comfortable. The bed was not great it was worn so a little lumpy and indented. Other than that everything else was perfect. I know there was a housekeeping service although we did not use it. The Beach Heaven suite is like a 1 bedroom studio apt so small but worked for us. The patio on the bottom floor is not really usable because if you sit down you can see over the wall. Other than that the place and location is great. There was a weeding going on so we did not get to use the balcony but we did go up there the night we arrived and it was very nice. This hotel is contactless so make sure to use the online check in to receive a code to get into your room.

Convenient location, walkable, close to everything. Nice rooftop deck. Biggest con for me was you could hear guests walking up the stairs and walking around their room above my room. I was on the ground floor. This noise was pretty loud, too. Even woke me up a few times in the middle of the night. The rooms probably need better insulation. Overall, a good stay except for the noise.

The Seascape Room was super clean and exactly what I needed! Nice little kitchenette with a decent size refrigerator. While the Seascape Room doesn't have a window, it's the perfect room for solo travellers if you simply need a place to crash and trying to save money as it's the cheapest room you can reserve at the SW Beach Hotel.

Our bed was very low to the ground, so, it you have any issues getting up from a squating position, this might not be for you. You are truly in a bedroom, it’s small, but modern and clean. Location is incredible, with the beach, dining, lounging, shopping, and nightlife all within a very short walk.

We had a wonderful time! The hotel was so cute and the rooftop was awesome. All of the rooms are unique and very clean. Great location right by Hermosa pier. Walking distance to several shops and restaurants. We also rented beach chairs from the hotel. Staff was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel!

We were under the impression that the room came with a parking spot. Once we arrived, we found It did not, so we had to pay an extra $40. Also, the staff opened the door WITHOUT KNOCKING in the morning while we were still inside the unit, prior to 11am, so that was somewhat shicking

Great, quiet, clean room. Easy walking access to beach/pier. Front desk was very helpful with any questions, helped us getting to our room friendly/professional. Had a great stay and would definitely consider booking again!

Due to medical issues, I had to cancel my reservation within 15 hours before my stay. They charged my 100% of the room cost!! I will never recommend an unsympathetic, callous hotel such as this one and would advise if you can find an alternate property in the area, please choose it. I called the property and explained the sitaution and they told me it was all about money. Their excuse was they are a small property and therefore need all the income that they can get. No exceptions! Truly sad and pathetic. Avoid this property if at all possible.

Wow wow wow. I wish I had the name of the gentleman who checked me in but he was the kindest soul. He went above and beyond. Room is beautiful, clean and super thoughtful. I think this bed is comfier than mine at home and that’s saying a lot. It felt like I got welcomed into their home. Highly recommend

The service here is amazing. It’s a little high tech, so if you have trouble working your phone, or keying in to enter your room, probably not the spot for you. But, the staff is very helpful and will guide you through any hiccup. The spot couldn’t be much better. The rooftop is huge and uncrowded and the sunsets are great! Each room is cool in its own way. I love what they’ve done with the place! Only issue was the thin walls. You really can hear folks around you, but the rest of the upside definitely outweighed this small inconvenience.

Was cool that Chris was able to store my luggage for the afternoon. Very helpful.

Communications prior to check-in were helpful and clear, and when I had questions they were answered quickly. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the location was great for my needs.

Clean, comfortable, super convenient - walk everywhere. Close enough to everything you need. Would stay again and recommend. Parking can be challenging, but we bought the 'day pass' for a free in/out garage space just a couple of walking blocks away.

Nice boutique hotel in a great location. We liked Hermosa Beach and the hotel is one block off the beach and very close to many restaurants and shopping.

Easy online check in and check out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great and clean.

Paprking lit was full upon arrival, had to park 2 blocks down, with pass. But overall evetything i wanted to was there nearby.

If you want to be near Hermosa pier, beach, and the surrounding businesses, this is a good location. There’s limited access to staff on site but they communicate well by cell. A little noisy at night but the complimentary bike were very nice. I would stay here again.

Very expensive and very impressive when we arrived we appreciate being let in early however room was on the parking lot no privacy and no view I requested top floor quiet but didn’t get it. We heard people all day and night walking by talking and laughing loud and loud music. Also no restaurant in hotel info here was wrong. Beautiful rooftop didn’t use was cold.

I had issues with booking through Expedia for this property. Theres a note regarding additional charges, however when I called the property they stated that was incorrect. Upon check-in I was required to pay the full amount again through the hotel website for them to hold the card for incidentals. There was a ton of back and forth as well as incorrect information. The hotel has a full kitchenette with keurig, but offers no coffee or water stations within the property. Our roo. Was on the first floor and seemed to be a party house from 1am to 4am everynight. If you like to party all the time this might work for you, but it was not a pleasant stay for my partner and I.
