We had a brief two night stay, but found this home to be very comfortable, well appointed and a nice quiet setting. Really appreciated the fenced yard for the dogs and laundry room entry!

Just outside of town, backing up to national forest. Took lots of beautiful walks with our dog. The outside dog area was great. The neighbors in residence were friendly and helpful. Had a blast every morning watching the rabbits, turkeys and deer.

This was a great getaway for 9 adults, teens, and babies. Close to many attractions, Wind cave, Jewel cave, and Mount Rushmore. Property was well maintained with a great deck to read, make s’mores, and relax. We had some deer visit us each morning and night. Good price for the area. Would recommend!!

This is a great spot to use as a base camp to explore Custer and the surrounding areas. The fenced yard is great for dogs and the deck is a nice place to spend time outside, the scenery in the yard is beautiful. We also cooked meals and spent time relaxing at the house. We love Custer and this place worked wonderfully!

This place was everything we wanted and more. It was super close to Custer, but far enough away that it felt very private. The area and yard were beautiful and spacious. The home had everything we needed and more. There is a large kitchen with everything you would need. Comfy sitting room for family to share and plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms. Having laundry machines was great. The deck is large and another great place to spend time. The welcome book had all kinds of great info. We really wished we would have brought our dog as he would have really loved it too! Super comfortable nice place, we would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly what my family needed for the week, and was very nicely located near Custer. The backyard had large rock formations that the kids loved climbing on and the deck with the grill and fireplace was a nice amenity. The only downside was that the sink had a pipe underneath that was broken and the owner had remedied by sticking a tub underneath to catch leakage. Also, the owner was not very quick to respond to emails throughout the week.
Really enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly what my family needed for the week, and was very nicely located near Custer. The backyard had large rock formations that the kids loved climbing on and the deck with the grill and fireplace was a nice amenity. The only downside was that the sink had a pipe underneath that was broken and the owner had remedied by sticking a tub underneath to catch leakage. Also, the owner was not very quick to respond to emails throughout the week.

Great 3 bedroom rental with a quiet, private feel and fenced yard that worked perfectly for our kids+dog. The kitchen was well appointed with all the appliances and kitchen-wear we needed to make a family breakfast and dinner each day. Also it was really nice to have a washer and dryer on-site in a little mud room area directly accessible from the outside (our kids get muddy!). There was snow when we came, but the unpaved road up the hill to the home and the driveway were clear and well maintained. Our host Melissa responded quickly to questions and inquiries. Easy drive to everything in the Black Hills area including Wind Cave, Custer State Park and Hot Springs, the monuments and all the other little gems like the fossil museum in Hill City. Definitely would recommend this place to others.

What a wonderful home to stay at. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed the morning visits from the wild turkey flock and the deer family! The proximity to all the parks was so convenient. We are already planning a return trip for the summer.

First time at a Vrbo. Was pleasantly surprised the house was spotless Furniture in great shape. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor fenced area was great for our dogs when we weren’t hiking would highly recommend.

The home is exactly as described plus more. Home was very clean, it was stocked with all necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Living room and bedrooms were perfect with four adults a toddler and a baby, we were all very comfortable. Icing on the cake was seeing wild turkeys in the yard and feeding the deer some celery from the deck. A definite place to stay!!

Well located and had enough beds, so it met those needs for our stay. However, for the price I expected much more than received. The kitchen was poorly appointed (no large bowls to mix anything. No large spoons for cooking/serving). The TV was unwatchable, a “smart” tv, but hulu plus and netflix were the only viewing options, could not add anything else (appletv or disney plus or amazon) - therefore my kids could not watch anything. The overall feel of the place was slightly dirty despite that it was obvious that cleaning had taken place (carpet was still wet in spots). If they had charged half as much, I would have given 5 stars and felt that I had received what I had paid for.

The house needed a little extra cleaning. The towels smelled bad, the shower door has a gross crust around it, and not everything was dusted. The kitchen is missing some essentials (cutting boards, large frying pan, serving spoons, etc). The "leaving" instructions need to include "clean up your dogs poop". I had to clean up A LOT of other people's dog poop when we arrived. It's a great location and we enjoyed the overall experience.

Beautiful area! Our overall stay was wonderful. The location was close to downtown Custer and somewhat secluded. However, my daughter's room smelled musty, and the shower had mildewed around the shower door. It had 3 bedrooms with plenty of beds for a large group/family. We didn't bring our pets but there is a large fenced-in yard for dogs. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay.

The property itself is very well kept. You can tell there's been upgrades made recently which is a plus. The only downside was the internet company was repairing the line and shut off the wifi for several hours. Everything else was great though

Wonderful place to stay! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for three nights. The location is perfect! Nestled into the pines near Custer. It is close to town yet very quiet and peaceful. The sounds and scents of nature all around you. The home itself was spacious for our group of 8. Three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms made it seem roomy. A fully equipped kitchen was nice too although most of our meals were at one of the many great restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this location!

Everything was nearly perfect. Location, surroundings, cabin organization. We enjoyed staying outside on patio. The dog faience is very handy particularly at night. My recommendation to managers of the property to put heavy window curtains to master bedroom - this will keep it cooler in the summer. Thank you!

Our third time at this house (maybe fourth). Good location good layout comfy beds and furniture etc. Our love for the house was tested however. You truly know how good a business is not when things go well. That’s easy to manage but when mishaps happen. Evolve excelled in times of errors. Something fairly major happened due to an oversight on managements or others part. I contacted them and they immediately responded and resolved the issue the next day (Sunday was our check in day). Bravo to their staff for handling it well. We would not hesitate to rent this

Overall the house was great. It was nice to have no direct neighbors and a fenced in yard for our dogs! I would definitely swap out the carpet everywhere being it is dog friendly and the sanitary factor with that. There could have been a little more description on how to work the heat and where units were located. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some family meals. The host was super wonderful with early check in and responsive. Would rent again!

There could have been a little more description on how to work the heat and where units were located. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some family meals. The host was super wonderful with early check in and responsive. Would rent again!

Great 3 bedroom rental with a quiet, private feel and fenced yard that worked perfectly for our kids+dog. The kitchen was well appointed with all the appliances and kitchen-wear we needed to make a family breakfast and dinner each day. Also it was really nice to have a washer and dryer on-site in a little mud room area directly accessible from the outside (our kids get muddy!). There was snow when we came, but the unpaved road up the hill to the home and the driveway were clear and well maintained. Our host Melissa responded quickly to questions and inquiries. Easy drive to everything in the Black Hills area including Wind Cave, Custer State Park and Hot Springs, the monuments and all the other little gems like the fossil museum in Hill City. Definitely would recommend this place to others.

Wonderful place to stay! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for three nights. The location is perfect! Nestled into the pines near Custer. It is close to town yet very quiet and peaceful. The sounds and scents of nature all around you. The home itself was spacious for our group of 8. Three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms made it seem roomy. A fully equipped kitchen was nice too although most of our meals were at one of the many great restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this location!

This was a great getaway for 9 adults, teens, and babies. Close to many attractions, Wind cave, Jewel cave, and Mount Rushmore. Property was well maintained with a great deck to read, make s’mores, and relax. We had some deer visit us each morning and night. Good price for the area. Would recommend!!

This place was everything we wanted and more. It was super close to Custer, but far enough away that it felt very private. The area and yard were beautiful and spacious. The home had everything we needed and more. There is a large kitchen with everything you would need. Comfy sitting room for family to share and plenty of room in the 3 bedrooms. Having laundry machines was great. The deck is large and another great place to spend time. The welcome book had all kinds of great info. We really wished we would have brought our dog as he would have really loved it too! Super comfortable nice place, we would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful home to stay at. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We enjoyed the morning visits from the wild turkey flock and the deer family! The proximity to all the parks was so convenient. We are already planning a return trip for the summer.

This house was great for a short getaway for me and my husband. The property was clean and well stocked. I did find several dishes put away in cabinets without being washed. Probably from the last renter. Otherwise this was an excellent, quiet, and peaceful place to stay and I would rent it again.

We have stayed twice here once over the holiday in December and then in late Feb. both stays were perfect. House has everything you need or want. The spacious yard is an added bonus to watch the wildlife. Quiet but still so close to the town of Custer. The fully fenced area for our pups tops the list. Shaded with trees for them to run around and playHighly recommend and will be booking our future trips to the area Thank you for offering a great place toEnjoy.
