Nice neighborhood. Nice home

This house was in a perfect location and had comfortable beds! Our only issue was the washing machine not working. No one was available to come look at it the entire week we were there, so we ended up having to go to the laundromat down the street a couple times. Not exactly how we pictured spending vacation mornings, but loved the house nonetheless!

Great house in a great area. 5 minutes from the beach in West Seattle. Problem is immediately found out the clothes washer doesn’t work, the power outlets in the downstairs bathroom don’t work and the A/C doesn’t work. Owners need to put some work into the home to make it great.

The house was great, clean, and in a good location. Our only complaint was that the washing machine didn’t work. We plan on being able to do laundry when staying at VRBO houses, and that wasn’t the case here.

This was a great house and a great location to Alki. It is managed by Vacasa and I feel they are lacking in their local service. The very first thing we saw when we walked in the door was pretzels on the family room floor. When we sat on the couch, another pretzel fell out of it. In addition, we came in to a dishwasher full of clean dishes. As rental property owners ourselves, we did not feel it was appropriate to have a renter check in, and be responsible for unloading the previous guests dishes. This should have been done by the cleaning service.... along with the pretzels. I messaged Vacasa about these 2 issues immediately, and i did get a reply, however there was no follow up or apology for the cleaning issues. The check out instructions were impossible to find, not posted in VRBO app and I did not want to download and create a Vacasa account just to find them. I messaged vacasa 3 times before i received them. One of the instructions was to start a load of laundry, however the washing machine would not turn on (even though it was plugged in), nor was there any laundry detergent. In summary, I think this is a great house, with some Property Management and cleaning team issues. My hope with this review, is that it will be seen by the owner so that they are aware. I know they are paying alot in property management fees. Because of these issues, we would rent a different house in Alki before renting this one again. Shame because it's a great house.
