Hampton Inn Detroit Southfield

Staff was great, clean, bed was comfortable enough, and good available equipment in the gym, though no hot tub. Main issues were noise. Hotel is right along the highway and I was put in a room closer to the highway so could hear cars all night. If you’re noise sensitive, ask for a room on the back lot enough away from the freeway. They were kind enough to move my room to the opposite end of the hotel, but that room had a loud AC. Not perfect, but a nice hotel for the cost.

Breakfast was amazing.

The facility was great, nice gym and although I did not get a chance to get in the pool, it looked very nice. I do wish there was a cozier seating area. There was a time that the electricity went out, which was quite inconvenient.

I had a 5-night stay booked and everything about my stay was excellent. My room was cleaned and restocked every other day, and the breakfast was much better than anticipated. Great location that was easy to access the freeway as well as local businesses.
