The room was nice and clean. Staff had everything ready and check in and out was easy. Everything at your convenience. Had outdoor seating, showers, and laundry/ice room for the guest. Staff was helpful and nice. Will go back.

Excellent place to stay. So many amenties. Beach a block away and easy acess. Quiet and very clean. Managers were excellent and kind and extremely helpful. Cant wait to stay again.

Friendly staff. Exceptionally clean room. Microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge are a nice addition. Bed was a little uncomfortable for us. Too cold to enjoy the pool but it looked nice. Great location to restaurants and shopping. Easy check in and check out. Complimentary laundry and soap/dryer sheets.

Unfortunately, our stay was made dismal by the lack of hot water!!!! I spoke with several other guests and they all had to take luke warm to cold showers. So, for five days we had to suffer as our reservation was prepaid. When I mentioned the lack of water at the front desk/office, I was told that it may take time for the hot water to get to the room. Never happened! In addition, there was a significant mildew issue in the bathroom which was quickly addressed. The coffee maker is suppose to use K-Cups but you will need to filter out coffee grounds after brewing. We liked the location and overall the room was nice. But, the lack of hot water for five days means we will not be back. I strongly suggest that Loggerhead take a close look at their water heater system and fix it so that this does not happen to other guests.

This place was overall excellent. It was located conveniently across the street from the beach and was an easy walk over. You could rent beach chairs for a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly, place was clean. The only major complaint we had is we put our towel bag and sign out on the 3rd day for new towels. It stated to place sign and bag out before 3pm. We did around 10am. After we arrived back from the beach and pool around 4pm. We still did not have towels. The next morning, still no towels replaced. We survived. Also the pool towel bin was empty for two days straight as well. But overall, great place and stay.

This was my third time staying here. I love how close to beach it us, and the outside shower aresma is great to wash sand off befire entering pool or room. Lots of places to just hang out and meet new people. Walking distance to pier, Soundside Park, and shops.

Place was spotless. For being next door to the beach, it was an excellent value. Had no direct contact with the staff, yet through text correspondence and just sheer attention to detail, I was highly impressed with the service. Would highly reccommend.

Omg absolutely SPOTLESS!!!! I stay in Jacksonville a lot and go to surf city everytime I visit and this was the first time I seen/knew about this place. It’s been about a month since I stayed here and I can’t stop talking about it. Can’t wait to stay again!!

My husband and i wanted a night for one night and this place was just perfect. Plenty of good parking and the room was very modern and clean. The property was very quiet and well kept. ITS A GEM! We kind of laughed when we walked in...the room was probably 14x14...small but sweet...we didnt need a huge riom. We will definitely come back to This motel and recommend to friends.

Friendly staff and guests. Super tidy and clean rooms and property. Convenient location however there was a lot of new construction in the area so at times the machinery noises were very distracting Our suite was on the bottom with convenient parking but our upstairs neighbors were very active elephants The pool was very nice with lots of pool accessories for all ages and was great for relaxing in the water There were several nice areas for gathering with fire pit, grills,cornhole games and seating as well as pet relief areas and outdoor private showers and a hose for Sandy feet after a short walk back from the nice beach Would definitely recommend the Loggerhead to friends and hope to return again

This was the nicest place we ever stayed as far as cleanliness and ease of parking and walking to the beach. We stayed in a standard queen. It was small but perfect for just the 2 of us.

First, the good. The location of the Loggerhead Inn and Suites is great - a quick few-minute walk to the beach, a short drive over the causeway to lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and anything else you might need. My room was cheerful, clean, and had a great Beachy vibe. Now the not so good. I feel that the room’s size and dimensions were misrepresented on the website. Apparently all the pictures are of deluxe suites and not of standard queen rooms - which are extremely small and do not include a closet (there are hooks on the wall) or a desk or table to work on or eat a snack. Also, my room was directly adjoining the outside courtyard with fire pit where other guests were enjoying talking (loudly) and sharing a beer or three well past the 9:00 “quiet time” advertised on the website. I do not begrudge the socializing at all, but if one doesn’t want to join in, one is captive in their (tiny) room with the noise happening just a few feet away. And finally, because the inn is dog-friendly, I was lucky enough to be in a room between guests with dogs who barked incessantly, especially when one couple left their dog alone for hours while they (presumably) went out to dinner. Maybe the Loggerhead Inn could ask guests if they would like a quiet experience or not, and assign the rooms accordingly.

Not worth the price. Very expensive. No one is really on site to help you. There is a sign up in the front office to just call a number if you need something, but no one answers. Tried calling multiple times the week of - no response. You check in with a key code - very impersonal. The rooms aren’t insulated enough - you hear everything around you. Little space to move around. They text you at 6am the day of checkout to tell you to clean up after yourself and take your trash to the dumpster.

Found it a little odd you are requested to empty your trash into the dumpster and sack the dirty towels. Then there’s an envelope for a tip ! They do not service the room day to day either. We were there three nights and no bed make up or daily cleaning

We will never stay at this location again. First upon arrival I went to the office and said I was checking in and he rudely said we sent a text out with the information and told me the time it would have gone through. Next when we got to the room everything looked ok and we dropped our things and went out. We called a little while later to make sure there was an ice machine and a lady answered and rudely said of course we do it’s by room 9. When we got back to the hotel we went for ice the machine was broken so we had to go back out for ice. That night at 10pm we had to have the cops called due to excessive loud neighbors. The was only 3 other rooms rented but they grouped all of us together. At 4:30 am the noise started again and at 5 am we heard a washer and dryer run constantly. At 6am I got a text for the hotel stating we had to basically clean our own rooms before we could check out. While cleaning we found a bug crawling across the floor.

The room was nice and clean. Staff had everything ready and check in and out was easy. Everything at your convenience. Had outdoor seating, showers, and laundry/ice room for the guest. Staff was helpful and nice. Will go back.

The room was clean and well stocked. I like the ease of not having to check in or out at the desk. The pass code for the door lock was sent by text with easy to follow instructions. Over all a pleasant experience.

This place was overall excellent. It was located conveniently across the street from the beach and was an easy walk over. You could rent beach chairs for a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly, place was clean. The only major complaint we had is we put our towel bag and sign out on the 3rd day for new towels. It stated to place sign and bag out before 3pm. We did around 10am. After we arrived back from the beach and pool around 4pm. We still did not have towels. The next morning, still no towels replaced. We survived. Also the pool towel bin was empty for two days straight as well. But overall, great place and stay.

Great location! A block fm the beach entrance and walkable to the concert we were there for. Love the quaint room. Recently renovated and they did a nice job. Quiet area. My wife thought the bed was a bit soft, but she’s used to a VERY firm bed. They did a great job of keeping us informed of everything via text.

Friendly staff and guests. Super tidy and clean rooms and property. Convenient location however there was a lot of new construction in the area so at times the machinery noises were very distracting Our suite was on the bottom with convenient parking but our upstairs neighbors were very active elephants The pool was very nice with lots of pool accessories for all ages and was great for relaxing in the water There were several nice areas for gathering with fire pit, grills,cornhole games and seating as well as pet relief areas and outdoor private showers and a hose for Sandy feet after a short walk back from the nice beach Would definitely recommend the Loggerhead to friends and hope to return again

Love the location, very close beach access, and shops and restaurant within walking distance. Nice that bikes are offered for your use. Staff and other guests very friendly and welcoming.

This was my third time staying here. I love how close to beach it us, and the outside shower aresma is great to wash sand off befire entering pool or room. Lots of places to just hang out and meet new people. Walking distance to pier, Soundside Park, and shops.

Loggerhead rooms smelled very fresh! There are outdoor showers available, hosing for sandy feet, pool, restroom at the pool, community areas, outdoor games to play. The only difficulty is that the parking lot is built for smaller vehicles so large seven-passenger vehicles/trucks will have difficulty and cause problems for other vehicles.

Good location, updated, good amenities inside the room, would’ve been nice to have instructions on how to use AC units. Shower took a long time to get warm so have to be patient with that.

This was the perfect place to stay for everything that you needed. It was a small hotel that gave off resort vibes because of access to a private pool, being steps away from the beach, and amenities such as beach chair and umbrella rentals, free pool/beach towels, vending and toiletries, free parking, and free bike bikes on the first basis. The outdoor showers were clutch when coming back from the beach and wanting to rinse off before heading to the pool or our room. Also, the price was extremely reasonable and we even booked pretty last-minute at the peak of summer.
