Our hosts Keith and Donna were very welcoming and friendly. The attention to detail they put in to hosting is remarkable (starting with fresh baked cookies at our arrival!). The house is really beautifully decorated and comfortable. The outside garden is a treat. We’d love to stay there again!

We are so thrilled to have “discovered” Upper Rideau B and B, and can’t wait to return. Our hosts, Donna and Keith, could not have been more accommodating. Everything we could have wanted was at our fingertips. The property grounds are beautiful, the rooms sparkling clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were beyond the imaginable. Between Donna’s skill as a baker, and Keith’s breakfast concoctions, a guest could simply not ask for more. It will be our pleasure to return as soon as possible!

We had a lovely weekend stay at this property to celebrate our anniversary. The premises are impeccable and beautifully appointed inside and out. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating ensuring that guests have everything they need. Check in was a breeze and we were welcomed with the scent of freshly baked cookies! They went so far as setting up a bonfire for us one evening in their lovely waterfront setting and providing us with the ingredients to make s’mores as we watched the sunset. We stayed in a king room that was immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and bedding, with beautiful waterfront views and an ensuite. The room is kept at a comfortable temperature and there is A/C. While there were other guests staying as well, you would never know it because the property is very well constructed and quiet. Breakfast was truly outstanding both mornings. This was a feast of top quality ingredients, including homemade scones, an abundance of fresh fruit, and options for waffles and egg dishes, all beautifully presented and delicious. There were numerous options to accommodate any dietary needs, The hosts are fantastic chefs and we were fuelled for our day of sightseeing and shopping afterwards! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your beautiful home. We would not hesitate to recommend this place and we will be back again for sure!

This property was the best bed and breakfast that we have ever use. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The owners were warm and great to have a conversation with. The breakfast was the best. Also the veiw of water from property was breath taking. This is a 5 star property.

Beautiful, peaceful setting, exquisitely furnished, immaculately clean , but - best of all is the Proprietors, who’s hospitality is akin to ‘family’ (that you LIKE). Did I mention the breakfasts? Go see for yourself. This is NOT a ‘diamond in the rough’. It’s the “Koh-i-noor”!

Donna and Keith are excellent hosts and made my husband and I feel right at home! The bedroom (and entire home) is beautifully decorated, the bedding luxurious and king mattress super comfortable. Of course, the hot breakfast was out of this world! So fun to sit with the other guests and meet new and interesting people! Love Westport, can’t wait to visit again! 💕

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway from the usual busy life, look nowhere else! This place is a hidden gem in Westport. Totally worth the drive. We had an amazing experience! Keith and Donna are the best hosts, not to mention their scrumptious breakfast options and hospitality. The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful lake view. There are lots of fun places to explore in and around the property. Best decision ever! We look forward to visit again. Val & Anamika

We stayed one night at the perfectly located Upper Rideau B&B and enjoyed every minute. Donna and Keith are wonderful hosts. The room was a little small but very comfortable. It had a shared bathroom but as there were not other quests, that was not an issue. Next time we will book a room with an ensuite. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to all our friends.

Our hosts Keith and Donna were very welcoming and friendly. The attention to detail they put in to hosting is remarkable (starting with fresh baked cookies at our arrival!). The house is really beautifully decorated and comfortable. The outside garden is a treat. We’d love to stay there again!

We are so thrilled to have “discovered” Upper Rideau B and B, and can’t wait to return. Our hosts, Donna and Keith, could not have been more accommodating. Everything we could have wanted was at our fingertips. The property grounds are beautiful, the rooms sparkling clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were beyond the imaginable. Between Donna’s skill as a baker, and Keith’s breakfast concoctions, a guest could simply not ask for more. It will be our pleasure to return as soon as possible!

I cannot commend the hospitality of our hosts, Donna and Keith, enough. Our stay at the Upper Rideau BnB went far above our expectations. As first time visitors to Westport, we left knowing that we have found a small town that we will keep coming back to, and if we are lucky enough to book it again, a lovely place to stay at the Upper Rideau BnB! Thank you again.

We had a lovely weekend stay at this property to celebrate our anniversary. The premises are impeccable and beautifully appointed inside and out. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating ensuring that guests have everything they need. Check in was a breeze and we were welcomed with the scent of freshly baked cookies! They went so far as setting up a bonfire for us one evening in their lovely waterfront setting and providing us with the ingredients to make s’mores as we watched the sunset. We stayed in a king room that was immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and bedding, with beautiful waterfront views and an ensuite. The room is kept at a comfortable temperature and there is A/C. While there were other guests staying as well, you would never know it because the property is very well constructed and quiet. Breakfast was truly outstanding both mornings. This was a feast of top quality ingredients, including homemade scones, an abundance of fresh fruit, and options for waffles and egg dishes, all beautifully presented and delicious. There were numerous options to accommodate any dietary needs, The hosts are fantastic chefs and we were fuelled for our day of sightseeing and shopping afterwards! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your beautiful home. We would not hesitate to recommend this place and we will be back again for sure!

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway from the usual busy life, look nowhere else! This place is a hidden gem in Westport. Totally worth the drive. We had an amazing experience! Keith and Donna are the best hosts, not to mention their scrumptious breakfast options and hospitality. The room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful lake view. Highly recommend Upper Rideau ! The home is spotlessly clean. There are plenty of shared spaces with comfortable surroundings and outstanding water views. The hosts , Keith and Donna were super friendly and accommodating to our every need. The 3 course breakfast was really something to experience. The food was amazing, plentiful and beautifully presented. If you are considering Westport as a destination, Upper Rideau is a must experience.

From the moment you walk into this B&B you are warmly welcomed by Donna and Keith. They are such a kind and caring couple, who treat you like family! We stayed in Rom#4 King suite upstairs. It is a beautiful room with a very comfy king bed and a lovely ensuite bathroom. Breakfast time is a treat! Wow!! We were blown away by the fabulous meals so beautifully presented. We are already planning a return visit to this little slice of heaven! Thanks again Donna & Keith for another amazing stay in your beautiful home. Cathy & Del
