If you’re looking forward to enjoying the authenticity of Jamaica, well this is your guest house in Negril!! This guest house stands out for me. We spent 7 nights here and let me tell you we both had fantastic sleeps! The roof top view , the pool we just love it !! Big thank you to the lovely Ms Valda, your 5 star breakfast every morning was just exceptional, the perfect way to start the morning! Niko & Ana thank you for making our stay even more memorable with the service that was offered to us !! This place is a gem!! The house keeping fantastic, and not to mention security! We are very happy about our stay and will be going back. Thank you Dela de Rose !

Check in was a breeze. We were greeted by an absolutely charming young lady. We were an hour early. It wasn't even mentioned. Our room was ready. It was clean and nicely decorated. We had a king bed and a twin bed. Everything, the room and all the communal areas were new and fresh looking. Security is excellent. There are monitored cameras in all of the communal areas. Very safe. The location is safe and walkable. Taxis are reasonably priced and easily available. Cost to stay was very reasonable especially compared to equivalent properties nearby. Additionally, when I reached home, I live in St Elizabeth, I had a message from the owner, Rose. Housekeeping had found $7500 JMD that I had no idea I had left in my room. Rose lives in the US, the staff had called her to let her know. She called me and we had a lovely chat. It turns out that the staff are her family members. I shouldn't be surprised. They felt like family. Rose has arranged for the money to be couriered to me. I couldn't recommend this place more and I will definitely be staying there again. I'm not the only one to have had a lovely stay. While we were there we met a couple from the UK. They had never been to Jamaica before. They were having such a lovely relaxing stay that they had already extended it by five more days.

Looked nothing like the pictures. Pool was dirty and green. Broken glass on seats in dining area. Water pressure nil, and the tap handle fell off. Just be aware if you are considering this property

Great location with corner store next door. Walked all over into town and to the beach. Great restaurants nearby and taxis drive up and down the road often. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a fridge and microwave in our room as well as a smart TV and air-conditioning with our own remote. The pool was really nice and open all day. Rooftop has great views of the sunset. Also, really nice outdoor sitting area with strong Wi-Fi connection. This was our first time in negril and we would stay here again if we come back.

This property is a hidden gem because of it's friendly and accommodating staff. The place is spotless. The owner, Rose, is also very nice and very helpful with whatever you need. The cook and security guard, Vivian, was the best. He looked out for us every morning making sure we didn't miss the delicious breakfast he made everyday. Sometimes he got us a cab. He was just all around the sweetest guy. Patrick, the driver, was also very nice and if he was available would also take us around. If you like a no fuss, clean and safe place close to most attractions in Negril, this place is it.

When we arrived there was no one to check us in. We had to wait about two hours outside in an unsafe neighborhood as tourist. And when a person finally arrived they were high. Our room had a sewage odor and the floor had pieces of mop strings all over. The bathroom door was broken and in order to shower you had to do a bit of gymnastics with your body. The kitchen had a dirty dish sponge. We had never experienced a guesthouse like this, very disappointed. I will not recommend this stay to anyone. The staff tried to make things right by putting us in another room, which was a lot better but two days too late. It was two days of discomfort throughout our five-day stay, even though we communicated about our experience. Lastly, we were told that we will receive a refund or discount, but we never received anything. This business is unprofessional and unorganized and I would never stay there again.

The staff was pleasant and nice to us, however, the internet wasn't working properly therefore the television couldn't operate. I think the rooms are too close to hallways, while i was sleeping i could hear people making noise in the hallways, very disturbing. Otherwise it was ok

The facility was fair, and the staff were helpful. However, the WIFI didn't work 1/2 the time, and there were other minor issues.

Property states that it is "beach front" "ocean view" it is neither. It said there was access to a private beach-there is no where to go to the beach or ocean unless you taxi at $15 a ride-5 miles away. It is a very old buildfing, old rooms, furniture. 1st nt. we were "checked-in" to a room that did not fit the description-we had reserved a 2 king room w/ocean view--we got 1 king bed looking at the slums beside us. We needed to find dinner that night--the road out front is dangerous to walk on, no sidewalks & people are drivng extremely fast-very unsafe. On the 1st nt. 1 of the employees unlocked & walked into our room w/other customers @ midnight, we felt unsafe. The 2nd nt. we had people drunk & high & yelling from rooms down the hall & on the verandas. No one asked them to quiet down after 10pm & it went on until after 2am. The 5th nt. someone broke into our "side kitchen"-a hallway that was on the side of our room with a microwave & minifridge & tried to enter our room from the "kitchenette". The 6th day the "management" asked for our key--that is to our room & our safe; to add a different lock to our room so people couldnt break in, when we got back they had taken the room key home with them, so we couldnt get into our safe to get money for dinner or my medicine out. Every night either the neighbors or the other customers were yelling, fighting, slamming doors, etc unitl 2 or 3 am. The last day when our shuttle came to pick us up they told the driver we had left?

I had a very quiet, enjoyable stay, which is exactly what I wanted. It was my first time in Negril, and I was looking for a smaller hotel away from resort crowds. I'm glad I chose this location. The staff was very nice and friendly. I had a very nice, large suite, and it was conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and other amenities.

Check in was a challenge. While the booking was made through Travelocity, nothing was charged to my card. Hotel does not have card processing capabilities at this time. I didn’t have that much Jamaican cash on me. Was finally able to work out PayPal with the owner, but a bit stressful at first. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. WiFi is available but does not work in the front rooms upstairs. Everywhere else is fine. No dining on site, but this is a BIG tourist town, so lots of choices.

The space was adequate and suited our needs perfectly.

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and also comfortable mindset you have book with our lovely Miss Rose and Narval will take care of your every need. I booked at the last minute as soon as i arrived in Jamaica, and Narval was very accommodating with the last minute booking and also making sure the transition for myself to settle in after a long flight was perfect. I'm looking forward to my next stay with this lovely place. Thank you again Miss Rose and Narval for the pleasant stay.

The website was deceiving. I thought hotel was on cliffs, the door to the hotel was locked at 3:30 no front desk staff.

I’m still waiting on a re-found for one day! Staff informed own but I guess she was too busy to see about us, staff was great but poor owner/ management. I’ll never stay there again!

We needed somewhere to stay for the night after too much drinking at ricks cafe and not being able to get back to our resort. Very close and the staff were very nice and easy going. We chilled and had drinks and enjoyed our night. We didnt have breakfast or use the facilities as we left early to drive back. Would defo recommend. We are from UK

I recently returned from my trip to Negril where I stayed 2 nights at Dela De Rose Guest House and I genuinely cannot say enough great things about my stay. Rose is such a sweet and kind woman who did not hesitate to make us feel welcome, she even went out of her way to help us arrange our transport from the airport and arrange dinner for us wh n we arrived later after traveling. Not only is Rose fabulous, but every single staff member we met was accommodating, pleasant, and beyond helpful. Th security guard made us feel incredibly safe and the location is gorgeous. There is even a really good restaurant practically across the street where you can go cliff jumping. I would 1000% recommend Dela De Rose to anyone traveling to Negril!!!!!
