Hyatt Centric Charlotte SouthPark

My car was broken into and window smashed and I wasn’t notified until the valet pulled my car around & I was given a police report number.

Amazing stay, only thing would have been to be told to validate parking every single time we left the parking garage. We were only told to give our info and they’d take care of it. Had to call to get it fixed when we received a notification that we owed for parking! Very clean and in a safe area! Would stay here again!

the property is very nice and very convenient. The only thing missing is a pool.

Beautiful place to stay staff was great the only downfall was the parking. It was free parking but the parking deck was very confusing and valet outside was not very nice about telling you where you could park ended up having to call the hotel at arrival to found out where to park. The restaurants in the hotel and around were fantastic as well.

I didn't get the room I requested. The bed was soft at first and then it became stiff and hard. The shower is nice with the rainfall shower head and attachment. Walking into the hotel room and seeing the sink and shower first is very strange. The angles of the room are very weird and only make the room's issues stand out. The carpet/rug under the bed makes no sense. There is a giant pole in the corner of the room. There is little seating except for this chair and table that seem like an after thought. And this 2 seat bench which will be used for luggage because there is nowhere else to put your luggage.The tv was standing at a weird angle which matched the room tbh. Many food options in walking distance. Internet/wifi is horribly slow but did the trick. 7th floor room 701 the room has a good view but not worth over $200/night. The walkability to restaurants, coffee, and a grocery store make it a good option to stay at but I'm not sure I would stay here again. For $200+/night I expect more and better. The parking situation is absolutely horrible. I didn't know where to park to check in because there are no signs. I parked in the parking garage near the iCRYO place. When you walk in they tell you to put in your license plate number on this website that they bring up on an ipad. This validates your parking. Remember to scan the QR code and bookmark this because you'll need it. You have to validate your parking every time you leave and come back. This brought along many issues.

Contemporary room with high quality products (e.g., bed, pillow, sheets, shampoo, etc.). Friendly staff provided for very efficient check-in and out process. Gym was excellent as well.

I can’t even accurately describe how nice our stay was. Our car was broken into on the first night, but before we even got out of bed our valet had cleaned the car up and covered our window. We were treated with next level kindness and efficiency for our entire 4 day stay from everyone we encountered. Even with a break in, this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had.

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was nice, clean, and service was excellent. We fully enjoyed Mizu, the rooftop ambience is awesome.

Disgusting Experience – Found Blood on a Towel! I stayed at the Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte expecting a clean, comfortable experience, but what I got was completely unacceptable. After washing my face, I grabbed one of the towels provided by the hotel—only to discover it had blood stains on it. This is beyond disgusting. It’s appalling that something so basic as clean linens could be overlooked. It makes me question the overall hygiene and cleanliness standards of this hotel. I brought it to the staff’s attention, but the response felt dismissive and lacked any real urgency or accountability. The hotel followed by lying stating that they found blood in other areas of the room. My wife doesn't have monthly cycles and neither of us suffered injury that would result in blood loss. For a hotel that markets itself as upscale, this was a huge letdown. I will not be staying here again and would caution others to think twice before booking. Cleanliness should never be a gamble. Front desk associates were very welcoming. Valet helped when they didn’t have to. It was a great stay. The hotel was clean and smelled amazing.

One of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in for business and personal travel. Easy checkin, friendly staff and nice accommodations. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

My top priority is cleanliness and the room was very clean. It was just a really nice room with plenty of space. The atmosphere was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent location. Only downside is we noticed the room carpet and surfaces were not clean thoroughly.

Checking in, we were led to a room with gross stains on the sofas. Yes, what you’d imagine with a blue light. When we came down and reported, the guy at the front desk, didn’t care, didn’t try st all, unapologetic and gave us a smaller room with no view. This is for romantic getaway weekend, so we came back again and it took three different rooms to get another generic room without obvious issues. The quality of people that are being hired for front desk work these days is crazy low! They are the first point of contact for pretty much the whole stay as one’s total impression of a hotel is formed by that interaction, regardless of the fact that it’s a newish hotel and a nice building. Brands should think about the rude and caring robotic stuff that they hire..

I didn’t like the low water pressure in the shower. I complained about it, neither it was fixed not room change was offered. I was staying for 3 nights.

We had high hopes for this hotel from the advertisement on several social media platforms , but were highly disappointed with the quality of the bed / pillows and the air conditioning . The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and we are not able to get well rested sleep . We booked this hotel to relax and couldn’t because of how uncomfortable the pillows left us . Also , we were not aware of the limited air conditioning . The air conditioner would turn off in the middle of the night leaving us sweating and even more uncomfortable . The location of the hotel was located close to a lot of shops but safe to say we would not be returning to this hotel .

Loved this new and clean hotel. The bed was cozy and comfortable. Didn’t like that the bathroom was not a separate room and literally was part of the room. It meant that i couldn’t sleep in as my husband brushed his teeth and used the sink. Also, the room was very dark at night with lack of available lights

Brand new hotel. We cancelled our reservation because the room does not have a bathroom door. The sink and shower are in the entrance by the door with no privacy. The only thing that has a door is the toilet.

Great looking property. Rooms are a little small for my liking but it fit the theme of the brand. Shower is cool looking but the water pressure on the ceiling show head is not great. Bed was comfortable and rate was reasonable.

Mizo was fantastic-service and food. I did not expect an open bathroom (with the only privacy you get is when you're using the toilet) with no privacy for the shower. So for this sole reason I would not stay here again.

The room was very small but nice and clean. If you are going to have a shower in the middle of the room, you should have the option to remove the frosted glass, as it is the centerpiece! The paper cups should be replaced with glass, and water should be offered on the floor, as is the practice at other hotels in the area. The paper cups leaked nightly. We ate at the sushi restaurant, which was expensive but good. We also ate at the ceviche restaurant downstairs, which was also decent. Unfortunately, there is no rooftop space to just hang out outside in the evenings, which would be appreciated.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfirtable. when I got back was looking over me charges for the trip, it looks like they tried to bill me for 2 nights and I only stayed 1 night.

My daughter was charged 3 times for her room. The gentleman that did it said he was sorry and the staff working the next morning would figure it out . Meanwhile her credit available on her credit card she used brought her balance down significantly which now has put a halt on her Christmas shopping that we are here to do today.

The property was wonderful except for the staff members at the front desk. They weren't aware of or didn't knew hotel policies. When asked questions about parking and pet policies, they simply stated there weren't any fees. Upon checking out, I was charged fees.

I didn’t like the fact that no one answered the phone at the front desk. I also didn’t like that our refrigerator was not working and no one ever came to fix it.

We stay here frequently - so quiet and pleasant!! The staff is fabulous: very friendly with great customer service skills.

Booking Hyatt had me over the top excited because the pictures online sold me it’s was my husbands birthday we wanted The tub and view but upon checking in we realized that we were in the third floor terrible view further inspection the room we realized no tub trip ruined went downstairs to ask about just switching to a tub room was willing to pay extra was meet with no resolution so overall I rate my stay a one star very disappointed and on top of that I’m a club member

Great walking distance to South Park Mall

Beautiful hotel!!! Pictures match perfectly. When we entered our room, it smelled fabulous and we didn’t check in until after 7 pm. The staff were great and we loved that we could walk to the mall which was essentially just across the street. Would definitely recommend staying here. The breakfast options were delicious. If we ever travel to Charlotte again, we would definitely stay here again without a doubt!!!

Amazing hotel in a great area! Free parking, friendly front desk staff. Really nice rooms with aesthetically pleasing showers. Huge TV which is a plus. Good wi-fi Breakfast at the hotel (for a fee) had great options, however i would not advise the chicken and waffles. Not great. Chicken was extremely bland and no flavor. Spend your money on a different menu item.

This was our first time staying at a Hyatt Centric. Overall, I give the location high ratings. We don't care for parking garages, so the Valet ($15/day) was convenient. The hotel and room was nicely decorated and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. I also love that they allowed me to have a package delivered there at the last minute to accommodate my needs. The only complaint that I have is the room service brunch from the hotel's restaurant, IRO. Terrible!! The food was burnt and definitely below standard. Do not order food from there. There is plenty of breakfast spots within walking and driving distance.

Very nice upscale hotel. Front desk staff was helpful, friendly and professional. Room and bath were immaculate. Restaurant very good for breakfast. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Fruit was good at breakfast, but the French toast and biscuits seemed stale.

Me and my friend enjoyed a relaxing weekend at this property. The rooftop dinner spot was delicious and not that pricey. Staff was helpful and kind. Room was beautiful although not much of a view. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay here again.
