A very nice BnB with cafe. Our room and bathroom were small but new refurbished and well appointed. Perfect for a short stay.

So disappointing. Some guy who works/lives there called me up without saying who he was to ask when I was checking in. I didn't appreciate it was a B&B so after 5 there is no food, no bar, no lounge. Just a hot room with no Aircon . Seeing the ear plugs on the tiny desk was a bad sign. The bed has wooden slats that had not been properly secured so the cheap nasty bed collapsed as soon as I say on it and I had to rebuild it. The lights were faulty. Honestly just miserable. It cost me something like £132 and that was discounted. A week before I had stayed in a beautiful clean, air-conditioned, large room in Ipswich with my wife and with free breakfast for less than £100. Without any exaggeration I was charged way over the value of the room. I've stayed in more comfortable hostels. I would maybe stay there for £30 tops. Even worse the one guy working in the place seemed to have no idea of the local area. It was a Tuesday and I found a pub that didn't serve dinner, another that didn't do evening meals on a Tuesday and several other false starts at finding any food. In the end I bought a sandwich from the nearby co-op and ate in the heat of my noisy room on the broken bed. Honestly avoid, save your money.

Nice quiet village, bnb Very comfortable. Good breakfast. Shame theres no restaurant close but and couldn't get a food delivery ( min order value too high) I was able to collect a takeaway and bring it back to the room which provides plates and cutlery.

A very clean B&B in Contemporary style. No Reception, but coded key card retrieval to gain entry to rooms. Breakfast was excellent and more than adequate selection for self serve + I had Salmon & Scrabbled eggs off the menu which was delicious. Only criticism was the cheap mattress - extremely soft and not really suitable for the +50's or those that may have back trouble. Also, no sound proof and I was able to hear every movement in room above me. There was also a potential trip hazard with mats covering a very slippery decking outside in order to access the car park.

Very clean modern room with excellent breakfast in a nice space. Friendly, genuine staff who don’t man reception after 3:00pm but check in with key safe was easy. Warm welcome at breakfast.

A really great place to stay. Breakfast was first class. My only concern was the security arrangement for entering the property. This was delivered remotely. I would prefer a friendly face to greet me on arrival. However, this did not detract from a very pleasant customer experience overall.

Such an amazing stay. I stayed as i was on a photography job so turnt up late. Got directions clearly where i needed to go. The room was exceptionally clean and modernised without comprimising the structure. Bathroom was super clean also.

I was staying at the cherry tree for one night as I was working in the area. The place was easy to check in with a self check in service, the room was immaculate and very comfortable. The host was super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely! I’ll be back

Lovely clean room. Stylish and nice bed. Some disappointments - the complimentary drink wouldn’t even stretch to a coffee - simply a coke so I declined. Old plumbing meant there was only (too hot) water in the sink. Noisy road.

We were the only people at the hotel and it was very nicely quiet. Very clean with delicious chocolate cookies and little bottles of milk for each person. Outstanding breakfast custom made for each of us.

We remember the Cherry Tree as a pub but now a B & B and cafe. It has been updated very tastefully and although we had a small room it had everything we wanted. The breakfast had a wide range of options, all the cooking done to order. I loved the overnight soaked oats with a topping of yoghurt and seeds and nuts, very yummy!

We spent a couple of nights here this weekend with our two small pups. It was well situated for what we wanted to visit - Bicester Village, Waddesdon Manor and Hughenden House. We hadn't realised the rooms were quite so small but it was immaculate and only for two nights. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed the 'Hollywood' theme in our room - one of the two reserved for pups to stay in - not that you'd know it. The only way I'd improve is to have a couple of pillows each on the bed - on the 2nd night I'd forgotten to ask during the day and was lucky to find one in the store room - I felt a bit rude looking in but it made all the difference to my nights sleep so thank you! A nice touch having a small fridge in the corridor with small bottles of fresh milk for tea/coffee. Good to have decaf coffee bags too for the evening. The cafe on site was wonderful - perfect for the included breakfast - great choice of cereals, pastries and cooked - my choice was smashed avocado with fried egg - my other half the scrambled egg and salmon .... perfect way to start the day! Lovely dog - Coco - was there with the owner ... it was her birthday so she was off to chase squirrels! I hope she had fun but that she didn't actually catch any ... that is our dogs' track record too! :-)

The room and shower were really clean and the decor, fixtures and fittings were of a really high standard with a super comfortable bed and great shower (despite it being shared; we wouldn’t normally stay anywhere without an en-suite but misread the info on Hotels.com so had no choice). Slightly annoying, the TV is not set up to the right date and time and we had to keep retuning it in but that is a minor issue. The room was too small for us and felt a bit cramped. Ordering a takeaway one night we had to eat it on the bed which was uncomfortable. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful despite not being onsite after 4pm but respond quickly to texts/calls. There was a great choice for breakfast with lots of choice. We must mention the overnight oats - delicious 😋 We would definitely return but next time request a bigger room with an en-suite.

We stayed in the chic room which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. If we were to stay in the area again I would most definitely choose to stay at The Cherry tree. From Wayne Jones Swindon.

No one to welcome you on arrival, and the place was deserted. Then very noisy after 11 pm, suddenly came alive. TV and toilet flushing in another room. Thin walls. Very bright light on the fire alarm.

Wonderful place to stay. The host/owner is a lovely lady whose aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Beautiful decor and the rooms are 5* in all respects.

Nice place. We’d mistakenly (our fault) booked two shared bathroom rooms. We asked if they could look at availability of own bathroom rooms. The assistant was trying to be helpful but the Polish lady manager intervened and was dismissive clearly not wanting the trouble such as it was of switching rooms. (We’d not used our existing rooms at all.) it left a sour taste. She was also unhelpful about breakfast times. A shame because all the other staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Without any exaggeration I was charged way over the value of the room. I've stayed in more comfortable hostels. I would maybe stay there for £30 tops. Even worse the one guy working in the place seemed to have no idea of the local area. It was a Tuesday and I found a pub that didn't serve dinner, another that didn't do evening meals on a Tuesday and several other false starts at finding any food. In the end I bought a sandwich from the nearby co-op and ate in the heat of my noisy room on the broken bed. Honestly avoid, save your money.

I was staying at the cherry tree for one night as I was working in the area. The place was easy to check in with a self check in service, the room was immaculate and very comfortable. The host was super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely! I’ll be back

Very clean modern room with excellent breakfast in a nice space. Friendly, genuine staff who don’t man reception after 3:00pm but check in with key safe was easy. Warm welcome at breakfast.

Beautiful B&B, would absolutely recommend. Clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, well cooked locally sourced breakfast. 6 /7 minutes from the motorway. Service is exceptional and friendly. My dad loves to stay at here when visiting family and won’t stay anywhere else .

A really great place to stay. Breakfast was first class. My only concern was the security arrangement for entering the property. This was delivered remotely. I would prefer a friendly face to greet me on arrival. However, this did not detract from a very pleasant customer experience overall.

We spent a couple of nights here this weekend with our two small pups. It was well situated for what we wanted to visit - Bicester Village, Waddesdon Manor and Hughenden House. We hadn't realised the rooms were quite so small but it was immaculate and only for two nights. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed the 'Hollywood' theme in our room - one of the two reserved for pups to stay in - not that you'd know it. The only way I'd improve is to have a couple of pillows each on the bed - on the 2nd night I'd forgotten to ask during the day and was lucky to find one in the store room - I felt a bit rude looking in but it made all the difference to my nights sleep so thank you! A nice touch having a small fridge in the corridor with small bottles of fresh milk for tea/coffee. Good to have decaf coffee bags too for the evening. The cafe on site was wonderful - perfect for the included breakfast - great choice of cereals, pastries and cooked - my choice was smashed avocado with fried egg - my other half the scrambled egg and salmon .... perfect way to start the day! Lovely dog - Coco - was there with the owner ... it was her birthday so she was off to chase squirrels! I hope she had fun but that she didn't actually catch any ... that is our dogs' track record too! :-)

So disappointing. Some guy who works/lives there called me up without saying who he was to ask when I was checking in. I didn't appreciate it was a B&B so after 5 there is no food, no bar, no lounge. Lovely clean room. Stylish and nice bed. Some disappointments - the complimentary drink wouldn’t even stretch to a coffee - simply a coke so I declined. Old plumbing meant there was only (too hot) water in the sink. Noisy road.

We were the only people at the hotel and it was very nicely quiet. Very clean with delicious chocolate cookies and little bottles of milk for each person. Outstanding breakfast custom made for each of us.

We remember the Cherry Tree as a pub but now a B & B and cafe. It has been updated very tastefully and although we had a small room it had everything we wanted. The breakfast had a wide range of options, all the cooking done to order. I loved the overnight soaked oats with a topping of yoghurt and seeds and nuts, very yummy!

A very clean B&B in Contemporary style. No Reception, but coded key card retrieval to gain entry to rooms. Breakfast was excellent and more than adequate selection for self serve + I had Salmon & Scrabbled eggs off the menu which was delicious. Only criticism was the cheap mattress - extremely soft and not really suitable for the +50's or those that may have back trouble. Also, no sound proof and I was able to hear every movement in room above me. There was also a potential trip hazard with mats covering a very slippery decking outside in order to access the car park.

Room basically clean, big towel was NOT clean!! No evening meal facility, breakfast not included in booking cost, even thoughtwo of our party seemed to have paid for it at the booking stage. Staff in morning very adamant that it was NOT included, no real customer service support. If you want a basic bed and breakfast stop, then other than a dirty towel and a wad of dirty waste blue roll from room servicing left in the toilet/shower room, it was passable. For a business traveller, it is not a venue I could ever recommend. For a mid week booking (obviously business travellers) give this one a wide berth.

The room itself was great, with adequate parking. The problem with the room, as is the case for most budget hotels in the UK is that there was no AC, and in the hottest day of the year, even with the fan, the room didn’t drop below 36 degrees - all night.
