The staff at this place was the best part. We felt like we were staying with friends. They took such good care of us, I know it was only 1 night but the hospitality was great! The ONLY reason it’s a 4 star and not 5 is because of there being no pool. If there was a pool this would have easily been a 5!

Clean well kept property. Manager was really great. She really is an asset to the place. Breakfast was not fancy but fresh and well stocked. Coffee was very good. Lack of an elevator might be an issue for some. They offered to move us to the first floor but had an unexpected arrival of many disabled guests so we were fine with the single flight of stairs. I found the 2-night stay to be a pleasant and plan to return.

I didn’t like the fairly large black spider I seen on the Hallway Wall, that I promptly killed with My foot. I also didn’t like the Miniature Armadillo Bugs on the Bathroom floor, that I also exterminated. And the Last Bug above the Mirror in the Living Room. Which I also eliminated. Other than all the Bugs & Spider everything was ok.

We stayed in one of the suites and it was a good size for our 3 nights. It was a bit on the noisy side with thin walls the second night when someone was in the room beside ours. Otherwise all was good and we will stay there again when in this area to visit family.

We booked a room with one queen size bed. We were very disappointed that the room didn’t have a refrigerator and later learned if we had booked a room with 2 queen size beds, a refrigerator would be included in the room. I have dietary restrictions and brought food that needed to be refrigerated. I’m glad that we had access to ice, but I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have a refrigerator!

This was a very nice hotel that I would definitely return to again. It was nice and clean and the room had a mini fridge. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. There was one in the breakfast area not far from the room though. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Expedia screwed up our check in. I'll never use exprdia again. Thank God the hotel staff new exactly how to fix the issue because it happens so often. The screw up could've ruined our trip because there is no other hotel within 40 miles of this location.

My stay was great! And the guy at the front desk was amazing! We were leaving at 430am and the guy at the desk heard my son talking about breakfast and had breakfast out for him when we left even though it was so early. That was so nice of him and above and beyond. It really made my sons day starting off at 430am with a waffle and muffins and juice. Thanks for a great stay and thanks for the great staff as well!

Enjoyed our weekend stay in the Northwest corner of Pennsylvania. Marienville is one of the many small towns that offer access to the Allegheny National Forest. Choosing to stay at MJ Inn and Suites was a great idea. Pleasant service and clean and affordable accommodations.

It is always a quick check in, and the staff are all very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good, and always ready on time, and the coffee is always hot. I have an exceptional stay every time I stay, and I have probably stayed 4 times now.

Great for an overnight. Comfortable bed. The smell of stale cigarettes does hit you when you walk in the room but dissipates. The room, linens, carpet and walls are all very clean. The smell must be locked in the walls or something. There was definitely not enough seating at breakfast for a Sunday morning. Breakfast was OK, no hot foods, mostly bread, muffins, waffles. They did have hard boiled eggs for protein and fresh apples/oranges.

Beautiful place. It’s a boutique type place near the woods, very quiet, new. We had a suite with two queen size beds overlooking the woods. And also unlike in other places you could actually crack the window open to let fresh air in. The room had plenty of space, enough tables, microwave, fridge, built in sink. The only thing was the mattress was a little too firm for my liking. But other than that it’s a beautiful place. Compliments to the owner!

Beautiful place. It’s a boutique type place near the woods, very quiet, new. We had a suite with two queen size beds overlooking the woods. And also unlike in other places you could actually crack the window open to let fresh air in. The room had plenty of space, enough tables, microwave, fridge, built in sink. The only thing was the mattress was a little too firm for my liking. But other than that it’s a beautiful place. Compliments to the owner!

Our stay was really nice. The room was very clean, it was quiet, the staff was really nice and the continental breakfast was great. All the food was fresh and the the breakfast room was clean. We would stay again!
