The property listed parking as one of the available facilities. However, at the counter during check-in, I was informed that it was conditional, and I had to pay $15 for it. This has never happened to me before—having to pay extra for a feature the property claimed to offer.

Staff were really nice. Unit was clean but was very dated and worn. Furniture was old and frayed. Windows were old and I was unable to close one. Street noise was extreme. Pool area old with cracked tiles. Pool slide was good, although children were able to walk off slide to building ledge to jump into pool. There was no safety barrier and the hand rail at the pool slide was broken and unsafe. The pool furniture was old and dirty. Great position and close to all amenities.

Pros: good location. Price is affordable compare to some apartments nearby. If you just need a place to sleep, it is still acceptable choice. Cons: the hotel is a bit of old. Room quality is around 3 star. Paid secured Parking maybe not enough if many quests check in. We have to park outside 1 night after 2200 as the car park is full.

The staff were great, but unfortunately the amenities left alot to be desired. It was dated and tired. Pool needs urgent tile repairs. The main bed in our apartment should have been replaced yrs ago. Tile grout needs a scrub.

Great room, some maintenance needed: no plug for spa; spa pump way to noisy to be useable (like having a bath with a lawnmower in the bathroom; guard rail on pool slide not attached at top of slide. Otherwise awesome room and view.

Vile don’t bother going here mould on pillows and sheets springs hanging out of mattresses, no towels in bedrooms or Bin linners in bins showers dirty absolutely miserable place

Outdated which is fine but it was dirty and not maintained. We had loose tiles in the hotel on the stairs located inside our apartment and a dead cockroach on the floor. The bed linen was minimal and overall cleanliness was poor. Good location

Where can I start got into the room took my sons and my shoes off walks on the carpet for no more then 10 mins and our feet where that black look like we had walk down cavil ave barefoot all morning. Every single lock in the room didn’t work, then moved our mattress to grab something I had dropped and found what was certainly some sort of sex toy that had been broken into serval pieces just sitting there Just to name a few things

The location is very good. Easy check in & car parking price good. The cleanliness of the room was pretty poor in most areas. The place is very very noisy. Me and my family stayed for 5 nights & all nights were horrible sleeps. Our bathroom mat wasnt replaced. I understand that room service is not an everyday thing however on the day that the cleaner went in, the bedroom sheet got made nicely on the bed but the whole place didn't even get vacuumed. There were 2 thin mink blankets for a family of 4 which didn't seem clean, thankfully we had more than 2 sheets to put under the blankets. There's the saying - you get what you paid for .. In my opinion, I think the price is more than what it should be.

Was highly disappointed in the state of the room obviously the cleaners to do there job properly. There was blood on pillowcases, blood on sheet under the mattress, ladies dirty underwear in a freezer bag pushed down between the mattress and pillow and no rubbish bin in the kitchen and a wine glass had a big crack down the side.

Very tired and showing a distinct lack of maintenance. Living room windows are coming away from their mounts creating gaps that let in a lot of noise from the streets below and allow the AC to vent. The room is not suitable for people with any sort of mobility issues lots of slippery surfaces and you need to use stairs to get into or out of the shower which is over a spa bath. Street noise due to the ill fitting windows is very loud and the traffic noise is very distinct. We were on level 7 but it was more like a ground floor street side room it was that bad. It was ok for the single night but we should have paid the $35 a night more and stayed across the road at the Circle as friends did and had a great nights sleep

Great views over Ferny Avenue but hard to see from the lounge room because the window was quite dirty. The sound proofing and darkening of our bedroom could have been improved.

Great location. Apartment was spacious and comfy. Beds were great. Place is a bit run down but has charm. Only weird thing about our 2 bedroom apartment was the light for the shower was IN the second bedroom and lit up the bathroom through a window… So when my friend turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the night, it literally turns on in the bedroom!! Didn’t bother us, she just showered with the light off. But a wild (kinda hilarious tbh) design flaw that I literally can’t imagine what they were thinking when they installed it! Also keep in mind it’s at the end of Cavill Ave. it’s noisy, and that should be expected. If you want a quiet location, you might want to be further away from the action. Didn’t bother us though. Would definitely stay again!

Close to main beach and shops. Room layout and comfort was good. But you can hear all the noise from the street below and there was an inch gap between window and wall, that we could get our fingers in, that probably didnt help. Toilet walls needed to be cleaned. Had a spa but never turned it on as a jet was missing and no idea when last cleaned. View of the river was great though.

Had young guys locked out of room at about 12am and the one was screaming and punching the door. Took security forever to arrive that I had to call the police as felt very unsafe.

Stayed here many many times and this was the very first time I’ve had to produce $205 on my card, especially if woman are comig there due to DV situations. The receptionist (new girl) was rude and I’ve never in all my years as a local on the Gold Coast, ever experienced that from Toki Hotel Team. Disappointed.

The Tiki Hotel was great, everything we needed was close by or easily accessible. The apartment was spacious and had a great view. The staff were all helpful and friendly I’d definitely recommend staying there.

Pros: The property is good. Reasonably priced, well cleaned, has a car park underneath (for a reasonable fee), has two lifts, the rooms are spacious, the staff (reception, manager, and housekeepers) are amazingly nice and helpful. The view from the room (of the river) through the wall to wall windows is outstanding. Cons: The hotel is unmanned at night, which is OK, I don’t expect a room service or housekeeping, however, during one night there was a very loud bunch of guests on our floor who were yelling, screaming, partying, slamming doors well into 3 AM. I called the after hours line around midnight, then again around 3 AM, then around 7 AM the security came and banged at their doors to evict them, but I had a whole sleepless night by that point. On some other nights some lesser inconveniences happened, so my problem with not having any staff on duty at night is that this attracts people who know they can be loud and may not face consequences for it. The room we got (two queen bed apartment) has only one split air conditioning unit in the kitchen and living room, the rest (the main bedroom with two queen beds) had only a ceiling fan, which is OK given we were in the winter, but we would have been stewing and marinating in my own sweat if it was summer. The wall to wall windows in the room are nice, but sadly are not safe for little children, they have no rails behind them so a child could easily fall against a window and fall through if the glass breaks.

Great location and good views from our room. We would definitely return in future. Gold Coast traffic did not make it quick to get to, Someone had taken the tv remote batteries and some wear and tear but all good - staff were great.

建物は古いものの、部屋は広く快適で、キッチンにも一通り簡易調理器具や皿なども揃っており、ゆったり快適に過ごせました。スーパーやレストランへも道を渡ればすぐにあり、大変便利な立地でした。ビーチまでも徒歩圏内のため、近郊の動物園へ行く以外は徒歩で生活、観光、買い物などが全て可能です。ハウスキーピングは有料ということでしたが、替えのタオルやコーヒー、洗剤などはフロントで無料ですぐに頂けたので、４泊ほどしましたが快適に過ごせました。ゆっくりと自宅のようにくつろぎながら過ごすことができ、大変満足です。

The hotel staff check in was very friendly. He gave us a free upgrade. He explained all the house rules and gave us directions for the nearest supermarket. The room we got had a great view which we enjoyed. The main bedroom was facing the main road which i found to be noisy at night as i can hear people and cars throughout the night. I don't know if the floor was vacuummed as my feet got very dirty after walking on bare feet in the apartment and there was no vacuum cleaners for me to do any floor cleaning myself. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay and the location was great.

Friendly staff, clean spacious room, but note: NO DOUBLE GLAZED WINDOWS! It will at times sound like you are sleeping by the freeway, and if you happen to stay during Friday or Saturday night, font bother trying to sleep, we got none. If they would double glaze the windows I would rate the stay as excellent.

The apartment was badly in need of a renovation. The property is advertised as having cable channels, but only if you have a Foxtel account, so we had to visit local pubs on Cavill Avenue to watch live NRL games which was most disappointing. We had to pay $15 a night for parking also. The two good things about the property is the location close to Cavill Avenue and the Nerang River views. I won’t be staying there again.

It was ok for a budget hotel need extra cleaner that is thorough though. Loud area of course due to being in the city centre but spa was nice in our room and an awesome view fully equipped kitchen not that we cooked but it had everything u needed. Needs more cleaning around pool area and laundry though as dirty lazy tenants leave things like used nappies and band aides around the pool. Use need to reopen a restaurant and bar.
