Very nice, newer hotel. Some construction on adjoining property. Nice location, near downtown. Close to the river Easy access to highways. Plenty of parking. Nice staff.

The hotel, which was the most expensive, boasts a restaurant bar so we booked it so we could watch ncaa basketball ball games at the bar. Upon checking in we were told tge resraurant/bar is closed on Sundays. They had grab and go beer and wine in the lobby but said the front desk is not allowed to sell it only employees of the resraurant..which was closed. So unhappy. The hotel should charge quite a bit less on Sunday!

This was our second stay at the Trinidad Hilton. Its new, pleasant, convenient, and 9 of 10 staff members are friendly and try to be helpful. (The others are not rude, just not up to par with co-workers). I wish the hotel bar was open later, at least on the weekends. It happens I had an injury that made travel around town more difficult and a late night cap would have been nice. Help me spend money at your establishment. The restaurant still has much more light than it needs for evening dining. There was some problem with the room we were initially assigned to. We got all the way to the room to find our keys would not open the door. After a third try of going back to the desk for recoding a key, the desk folk recommended we wait someplace for managers to be located who could address the problem. So we took our luggage back to the car and went to McDonalds. In that case I wish the hotel bar was open earlier so we could have got a beverage. When we came back from lunch the room door still did not open, so the desk then assigned a new room. No major problems, but some room to do better.

We stayed at this hotel for a graduation in the middle of May. The staff was very kind, and helpful. Only reason I didn’t give it an excellent all around is because our fan did not work in the room bathroom, and there was extremely way too much chlorine in their pool.

Lovely hotel. Amazing location by the riverwalk and across from a playground within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Great restaurant onsite. Good pool. Importantly the water in the pool was warm enough. Good service in restaurant. Only complaint is being charged for a coffee refill with breakfast.

My only real complaint isn't really the hotel's fault except they should probably manage it in some way which is allowing the pool area to be overrun by children and families who are being inconsiderate by running and splashing and throwing things.

Booked what I thought to be a higher end hotel. It was a disappointment. The room was dirty and trying to get to the hotel via GPS was horrid. The staff was polite but not exactly attentive. There is still construction being done near the front entrance. GPS will lead you through the construction and not to the hotel entrance. There was what I thought to be stains on the bathroom floor. I took a washcloth to it and it was dirt. Painfully obvious that the cleaning staff didn't mop the floor between guests.

Our room was filthy and disgusting. It hadn't been cleaned.. There were nasty dirty, muddy shoe prints all over the bathroom floor. The shower wasn't clean. The towels had hair on them. The chair in the corner of the room was covered in grass and hair. I paid extra for the room with the Peloton; it didn't work. It looked like it had been hacked or had a virus; unable to even get to the login screen. The walls are paper thin. We heard the TV from the room next door clear as day. When we mentioned these issues to the people at the front desk, they just apologized. Never offered anything to make it right. Terrible hotel. Stay at the La Quinta down the road.

The hotel itself is new and spacious. Rooms are large and accommodating. Workers are friendly. Unfortunately the room was not clean. A dirty towel had been folded and put up as if new. There was body fluids on a painting above the bed and blood stain on a pillow. Our room was located near a hallway entrance and it banged loudly all through the night so we got zero sleep.

The hotel restaurant was very handy and quite good since many Trinidad restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So it was a nice option. Rooms comfortable and had a nice roomy bathroom.

We got a room right next to the hallway door so we got to hear it slam all night and all morning. Also spent over $200 and no water bottles or breakfast included. No sleep, breakfast or water.

We had an amazing stay at the Hilton in Trinidad, Co! The hotel was so beautiful and clean. I reserved a wheelchair accessible room with a tub because my 6 year old is in a wheelchair. The room was huge and spacious enough for my daughter to move about without it being a tight squeeze. We enjoyed our beautiful room that also included a smart tv along with all other essentials we needed! I would definitely pay the little bit extra to stay in their clean and big beautiful room again.

The Hotel is very nice but the walls are paper thin. Unfortunately we were next to a room where the other guests had the TV on loud all night. Impossible to sleep. The staff was unsuccessful in getting the guest to turn it off

Everything was great except the shower with Very little pressure and hard to regulate the temperature. The Air Conditioner wouldn't get cold and kept shutting off during the night.

Nice new property. Staff was average, not what I would have expected from a Hilton property. Dining was average for the prices charged. Very noisy in the room from other guests and dogs in the rooms barking.

I booked through hotels.com and when I got to the property at 1am the room wasn’t ready and originally told that they didn’t even have a room for me. The lady that helped me was very nice but it was aggravating having traveled 4 hours to be turned away. The AC in the room was very loud and shut on and off every 30 min. I didn’t sleep at all

Kim Douglass at the front desk is such an asset for your hotel! She was so kind and helpful and check in was a breeze! In addition, my husband left his Apple Watch in the room and within a few hours, we got a call from Tiffany that it had been found! Such a wonderful bunch of people at this hotel and having a restaurant in the lobby is priceless! Unfortunately we were only at this hotel for one night but we will definitely be back soon and for longer!

Nice staff. Very clean. Staff attentive. Needed thermostat fixed, staff was there within minutes and fixed it. Also needed an extra pillow and it was delivered within minutes. Restaurant was hit or miss. But manager did fix all issues. Over all a beautiful addition to Trinidad

Absolutely terrible help when the fridge wasn’t working! I NEEDED a working fridge for my dogs allergy antigen! Was told maintenance said it was working!!! Unbelievable.. entree took so long in restaurant that I could t eat it- no fridge to keep it in!!! NOT HAPPY!!!!!! Hilton always does way better than this!! Shame!

Property just opened a month before our stay so the grounds are a work in progress. BUT...what an ideal location to downtown...very walkable...past the dispensaries...PAST them.

Second time to stay at this property. Excellent location and well developed grounds to enjoy. I would recommend to all but would caution that there is a nearby homeless population that hangs around by the river adjacent. Generally, seems harmless but good to be aware. Otherwise top notch.

The check-in was smooth and the staff member at the front desk was awesome. The room was excellent and very clean. The only negative was the restaurant. The server put in minimal customer service effort during our dining and definitely not as good as the other servers that were taking care of other customers. She didn't bother to check if we needed more water until we were ready to leave despite the fact my glass was empty and she walked by our table multiple times. My wife had to ask her for more water before we got a refill. The restaurant was not busy when when came down for a late dinner. My wife enjoyed her Italian dinner, but my Colorado Rib-eye dinner was average at best. The rib-eye was bland and was not very tender for a "fine dining" restaurant. The check-out process was smooth and the front desk staff was awesome.

This was a good room and very clean. The check in was misleading and the clerk told us that breakfast is "at 9". When we showed up we were told, quite rudely, "nothing is free here." I get that there is not a lot of breakfast available in town and free breakfast is a thing with most hotels so let people down nicely. I would have gladly paid for breakfast if we were told politely that they were sorry for any miscommunication, and breakfast is not complimentary by the way. That should have been clear at check-in. Other than that, it was fine. The quality is what I would expect at a Hilton. I will never stay in Trinidad again, however. This town was very sad and the service most places was unfriendly. The room was immaculately clean and had nice television choices. There were multiple chairs to sit which made it nice.

New and shows great care. The restaurant is a must. Duck quesadillas, pesto salad, veggie pasta, and waffles with chicken. Delicious! Our room on floor two was great. I wanted snacks, I reserved accordingly. The floors were loud when we walked across. Maybe thin floor construction or not enough floor suppport. Great experience. We accidentally stayed past check out at 11. We expected a noon check out. Gorgeous view.

The hotel restaurant was very handy and quite good since many Trinidad restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So it was a nice option. Rooms comfortable and had a nice roomy bathroom.

The hotel, which was the most expensive, boasts a restaurant bar so we booked it so we could watch ncaa basketball ball games at the bar. Upon checking in we were told tge resraurant/bar is closed on Sundays. They had grab and go beer and wine in the lobby but said the front desk is not allowed to sell it only employees of the resraurant..which was closed. So unhappy. The hotel should charge quite a bit less on Sunday!

Rooms are very nice. Staff was friendly! Restaurant is VERY expensive for food that is average at best. I recommend staying here but not eating at the restaurant!

The hotel and room were tol notch. So well maintained and the room looked newly remodeled. Only downside was the water pressure was a little weak in the shower. They also do not include breakfast and what they do offer is a pretty pricey restaurant type place with mediocre food. We were only here for a quick night's sleep so I can't comment on amenities.

We love staying at hilton properties. They are consistently clean and comfortable. This one, in Trinidad CO was wonderful. The property looked new and well cared for. People were great. And we had dinner at the hotel restaurant . The food and service was better than expected. We will stay here again!

This is our third stay at this location. The location, staff and property are great. The issue so that the pool is open 24 hours with no restrictions. Teenagers up all night running the halls and loud music in room next door going at 11pm. No night Manager per se but a very good employee at front desk. They moved us to another room at 11:30 pm. Had they not had another room i feel sure there would have been an altercation as the folks next door felt it was their right to keep everyone in the hall up all hours. 10pm is generally a reasonable cutoff for loud music, etc. My complaint is twofold. Pool and common areas need a 10pm cutoff. Second, there needs to be someone on duty at night that has the authority to police situations like this. Our front desk guy was great. But had no authority to deal with the mob next door.

Exceptional staff, great and safe parking lot, clean room. Was no complimentary breakfast and no real coffee in the room, only tea and decaf coffee. Location just off the freeway was perfect.
