The hotel was clean and new. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The pool area was well maintained. The complimentary continental breakfast was good but typical of this time of hotel. I would recommend this hotel and will most definitely return.

We arrived right at 3 for check-in with just enough time to change and get to my aunts 80th birthday party. We were informed that there were no clean king rooms (which is what we had reserved well in advance) so we settled on a queen. The desk staff was unapologetic and not friendly. Arriving to our floor we noticed garbage stacked on and around the bin as we stepped off the elevator. The hall carpets were not vacuumed and there were several cleaning carts on the floor. When we returned from the party that evening the garbage was still there, as a matter of fact it was still there the next morning. The room was fine and the bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast buffet was the bright spot of the stay - (omelets, potatoes, and waffles, all good) until a family arrived with sick children still in pajamas who sneezed right into the omelet / potato tray. Overall the stay was fine, I believe I may have had a better attitude if the women at the desk had even pretended to care that our room wasn’t ready.

The common areas of the hotel seemed clean and well kept. However, our room could have used some additional cleaning. Hopefully, that is exclusive to the room we stayed in. It appeared that past guests may have had a food fight, as there were remnants of food and their grease trails down the walls. There was also left behind food in the refrigerator. The carpet was pretty dirty and had an odor, probably from food and drinks being spilled. We booked the room for four but the bathroom only had 2 towels. The breakfast did have some nice options and was a major factor in booking here. However, some of the items were out, such as the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy, and we were told they were waiting for a shipment. Overall, it was ok.

Breakfast was below average - less than I would expect for a Hampton. Dry sausage and mid egg/cheese omelet. Good location with easy access to main thoroughfares. Pretty average in all aspects but reasonably quiet. Property had average appearance and was okay clean.
