Pool water green and not usable..any we chose a hotel with a pool

Arrived, staff was very COLD. Our room had no heat in 30 degree weather. Heater was broken. Asked for blankets but received two thin, what seemed like a bedspread not a blanket! The fire alarm kept going off over 7 times for no reason. I have been treated for the last 30 years for severe ear problems. I was crying because of ear pain from noise of the alarm. I was in agony. Old tub was extremely slippery and was told they had no mats. The room felt dirty. Needless to say, we checked out in the morning. I paid for 3 days and stayed only one. Manager would not speak to us or refund any money. I was charged for three! What a pitiful place.

Staff was friendly. Pool needs redone. Room leaked when it rained. Dehumidifier in the room helped.

The fire alarm went off late each night and early morning - supposed to be fixed first day but wasn’t. Tub was very slippery and unsafe. Breakfast was almost gone each morning and cold. But at least beds were comfortable. Hallways were desperately in need of updating.

Pool was green and the outside chairs were all cracked and two tables were broken. Needless to say, there was no where to sit around the pool. The room was clean but don’t be fooled by the Wyndham name…it’s not like it use to be! You get what you pay for!!!

Location was convenient but the pool water was green.

Unfortunately for this hotel they had water heaters which were large water heaters sitting in the middle of the first floor. There was no handicap access for my Mom because the elevator was broken. We had to climb to the second floor to get to our room and take our luggage. My handicap Mom also had two climb the stairs. I did ask for a room on the first floor and the front desk associate said there were not any. Since I had purchased the room through hotels.com there is nothing they can do.

No towels until late in the day. Fire alarm going off on two nights of our stay. 11:00 pm and 4 am. Elevator broken. One of the front doors was broken. Room was very nice other wise

This hotel has lots of mold and algae around the pool area Needs to pressure wash

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Smelled like mold and smoke. My room was filthy and not healthy or safe to sleep in. My wife and I didnt even stay 10 minutes before we decided to leave. The receptionist refused to give us a refund and had a contact the manager who never responded to emails or answered his phone. We called corporate and hotels.com and are still without a refund.

There were bugs in the room and a water leak down the hall that had the entire floor smell of mildew. I woke up every morning to the sound of the carpet cleaner running to get up the water that was in the carpet.

It has a mold smell throughout the whole building. There were dead roaches in room. Staff refunded swiftly and was not rude.

Bed bugs and urinated sheets

This has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm surprise that Wingate by Wyndham would even allow their brand to be associated with this smelly, moldy, broke down establishment. From the moment I walked in the lobby I could smell the pungent odor of dirty carpet. As I walked to my room on the 1st floor I noticed many of the doors to guest rooms were open. When I got to my room and open the door, that's when it hit me. The smell of wet, moldy, mildew carpet. I'm very familiar with that smell because I'm from New Orleans and I've live through enough hurricanes and floods to recognize that smell anywhere. I immediately turned around, went back to the front desk and asked for another room. I was not surprised to find the room reassigned, right next to the original room smelled exactly the same. The only reason I didn't check-out was because an associated had already check-in a few days ago. As if that wasn't enough, I thought, well, at least I could enjoy the best amenity of the hotel, the jacuzzi bath tub. (That's why my associate booked the room in the 1st place.) After the nice relaxing experience in the tub I was ready to overlook the smelly rooms, until I tried to turn-off the jets of the Jacuzzi. It would not turn off. When I notified the front desk, they said maintenance was gone for the day. I had to find the access panel (which was in the bedroom) to unplug the motor. On top of that sliding door to the shower was didn't work. I couldn't wait to leave.

The room had a foul smell

Poor condition the floors on the second level had soft spot and felt like you was about to fall thru the floor. The hall way had been vacuumed in no telling when. My room had holes in the wall the Tv didn’t work lamp was falling off the wall. no curtains the rod looks as if it had been ripped off. My room Had a sink hole soft spot in the floor. Still had previous tenant dirty underwear in the closet. The bed sheets look they was not changed only made up. Hotel description says had large truck parking it does not. Elevator was nasty door had rust all over it. Would never recommend this for anyone to stay at.

The hotel was very dirty. Not just the rooms, but the hallway is too and the whole place smelled of mildew. It was terrible. The first room they gave me needed vacuuming, and the end tables and desk were dirty and the toilet and the tub were dirty. They brought me to another room that was a little bit cleaner, but still not clean. The whole place reeked of mildew. I requested a refund and was told that I would receive one, but I have not yet. I do not recommend this property at all.

Love the property enjoyed my stay. Just wished the shower water was a little bit hotter and would have been great if the bathroom door was able to close but, besides that great stay!

When we got there, we noticed there wasn’t a fridge in the room at all. There was a place for it, but it was empty. No soap in the room at all. There was body wash and lotion, but no handsoap or soap in the shower. A few pieces of trash was in the bathroom upon arrival, tags from clothes from someone else. The key to the room didn’t work when my husband returned after midnight. He went to the front desk, they reprogrammed it but it still didn’t work. I woke up and let him in. There was also renovations being done in the room, the plug outlet wasn’t attached to the wall and the water sprinkler on the ceiling was dangling.

Our room appeared to have suffered water damage and a dehumidifier had been placed in that was noisy and had to be emptied. The shower door was broken and had been replaced with a shower curtain that allowed water to cover the bathroom floor requiring all the towels to dry the floor and therefore not enough towels to use for bathing. Breakfast offering were not good as well.

The hotel breakfast area was extremely dirty with food and stuff all over the floor. The rooms were clean but there were 2 bath towels and a washrag only. No hand towels and also no soap to wash your hands with. In the shower were 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner. No bodywash

It had a funny odor and it was warm inside the room

We arrived rather late one 1 o’clock in the morning no Internet had to switch rooms the next morning for Internet and television only to go to a room with no toilet paper and fill underneath the coffee pot, which I only noticed because I want to make coffee

Location to interstate is convenient. Staff were very nice. Room condition #207 was not good. Bed was good and room clean, but smelled musty when walking in. Lamp shade attached to wall was broken and hanging down. Lamps on wall and table lamp had rust because of the moisture in the room. Other than lamps the room was clean and AC worked well.

Breakfast was horrible. Cold scrambled eggs with biscuits and store bought gravy. Freeway traffic kept us up all night. Room was supposedly remodeled but still had a funky smell.

Stayed for a month for work. Overall decent, but the wifi is basically unusable. No one comes to clean the room despite the sign in the room saying it will be cleaned every few days. Noisy during the weekends, loud bass and people running around being loud in the halls. Gets a little dirty as well in the hallways and elevator. The staff are at the front desk maybe 50% of the time. There’s one public washer/dryer for the whole hotel, only takes quarters.

Extremely comfortable beds, great staff. Great location. Marginal breakfast. Nice accommodation for handicapped.

We had a horrible time and would like a refund. I arrived to our room (302) and the room was disgusting. The sheets were ripped, the floor was sinking in, and I asked for another room. We were given another room (312) and that room was even worse!!! The toilet was dirty, the above bed frame had finger prints and hand prints on it, the closet door handle was broken. It was honestly the nastiest hotel I have ever been in. My wife went down stairs and requested a refund and the worker at the desk handed her the landline phone and asked her to translate English to her customer because she couldn’t understand what the customer was saying. It was a HORRIBLE experience. We got in our car and drove 10 minutes down the road and found a MUCH NICER hotel! Will NEVER BE BACK!!!!

Customer Service was outstanding. Her recomendations were spot on. We were so satisfied we are staying there again in 2 days.

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The place was very quiet and the young lady at the front desk was very nice.

The hotel is not well kept at and the staff has no customer skills at all. The hotel is outdated and is not clean at all before you book read the reviews, they are not exaggerating. They do not perform any housekeeping unless requested and with that being said not even between checkouts and check-in. Had to request a room change due to room we was giving was not clean, had a hole in the wall and dirty sheets balled up in the chair. Our new room had the previous guest towels there and trash but it was in better shape than the previous assigned room. The only reason we stayed was all the hotels were booked or pricey due to a conference in town, a car show and Grease the play. If the owner and staff took a little more pride in there work I believe this would make the hotel more attractive.

Beginning with the check in process my stay has been filled with incompetent staff, a run down hotel, and unclean rooms. I was also charged twice for the rooms and hung up on when speaking about getting the refund.

This hotel was okay. We only saw a housekeeper on Monday when we got there and Thursday afternoon. We checked out Friday morning. We had to ask for trash bags so we can take our trash out. We had to go down to the front desk everyday and ask for towels. And on Wednesday they didn’t have any towels so we had to wait. And the lady had to go to another room to get us towels. The lady at the front desk had mentioned they were short of staff. The hallway to our room hadn’t been vacuumed since we got there, since Monday. When we got to the room , the room didn’t smell clean, but smelled musty. The room wasn’t to clean and it was dust on the headboard and nightstands. There was mold on the wall and looked like on the mattress cover. We had to ask the housekeeper that afternoon if we have some Lysol wipes so we could wipe down areas in the room. We told her we needed to clean our room because it was dusty and there was mold on the wall, and she said “ well good luck with that.” The shower rod was off the hinges and the shower curtain didn’t stay put when showering. The breakfast was pretty good. The outside trash cans were overflowing with trash but the property was well kept. Overall it was an okay stay.

The lady that checked us in and worked at night was amazing, however the lady that came in and worked the day shift was so rude to my 13 eat old daughter and then to me. They would not refill the waffle mix at breakfast and were extremely rude about it. I work in the public and the day that I start being rude to customers I will go home because without customers you do not have a job. I honestly couldn’t get over them not refilling the waffle mix because thay is what everyone got and it was put about an hour after breakfast started. Other than that we had a great stay but because of her I do not know if we will be back again.

Very convenient and comfortable. Clean building and room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. But considering the great price, I was not expecting much.

Its was last minute, we booked the wrong date on another hotel and this one was across the street, and thank goodness there was room available and the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom were nice and too, we had the last two rooms from the first floor hall. There were not breakfast at all, coffee ran out and never refilled, but the price was like $65 per night and we need the hotel to take showers and sleep, so it was not bad.

Close to areas I was wanting to visit. Was very quiet so was able to get some good sleep.

It's a great place and not far from the casinos or the beach

This was previously a motel. Was renovated in the exterior and parts of the lobby. good lighting outside of the building which makes it feel safer since it’s located in a commercial, secluded area. The hallways, elevator, and rooms are sorely rundown. The bathroom wasn’t properly clean (ex. Toilet). Also, the toilet tank water fill valve was broken hence it continuously ran water to the toilet bowl. It’s wasteful and makes a lot of noise. No hand soap in any room. I had to request body wash. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok but the eggs didn’t taste good. TV channel lineup was good. I didn’t use amenities but saw they have a pool. Not worth the price I paid (over $120/night).

It was close to everything

This property is under rated, this is not a bad hotel at all. The only problem at this point in time which will get corrected probably within the next 5 to 7 days is the construction around it leading to the hotel. Other than that I would recommend staying here.

Construction going on around the roads leading to the property was inconvenient. Tried to change my reservation, they provided 0 empathy, compassion or willingness to work with me. The noice above me the first night by very loud slamming noise above me. The second morning we were woken up by a screaming child in the hallway at 6:15am that lasted for 30 minutes.

I like the location and price.

The hotel itself was fairly modern-looking, had a pretty nice complimentary breakfast, accessible parking, and was clean and comfortable. Check-in time was 3 p.m. However, we arrived about 3:20 in the afternoon and our room was not ready and wouldn’t be for 45 minutes (it was more like an hour). My disabled husband, who was very tired after a long drive, was forced to sit in his wheelchair in the lobby for all that time. By the time I finally got him settled in the room, I had missed much of an 2-hour event that began at 4:00. We had an accessible room with a “roll-in” shower, but it couldn’t be used because the water was scalding hot. The cold was non-existent. We washed using the sink, which did have both hot and cold water. On the surface, the hotel was nice, but those 2 big annoyances prompted a less than glowing review.

Staff was excellent.. that was the only good thing about this hotel. Room had dehumidifier in it that you had to empty every 2 hours, room smelled of mildew so badly your eyes and nose burned. Halls also smelled of mildew but not as bad as room. Internet was slow or non-existent. No toilet paper holder, no shelf in shower at all for soap, shampoo, etc.. very little hot water in shower - Luke warm . Breakfast was a no go, except for yogurt (there were only a couple) , juice machine out of order . $98.00 for what should be $50.00 but I definitely wouldn't stay here again even at $50.00 a night. Oh did I mention if you're in bathroom and the room next to you flushes toilet your water and bathroom smells like sewage backing up..

Easy to get to from the interstate exit, room wss clean, but overall the facilities are showing age and wear. The breakfast wss below average, the waffle iron did not work well with waffles sticking to the iron, orange juice dispenser was more water than juice, paper plates wete flimsy. Lights in dining area did not get turned on til 6:10 am.

This was not what I expected. Booked rooms for two days. There was no room service, no phones nor clocks in either rooms, and no wi-fi that I could tell of. Breakfast was terrible, and most of the staff I was in direct contact with were less than friendly. Will not be staying at this location again.
