We had a fantastic stay at No.5 Valley Lodge. The accommodation was fabulous, great infinity swimming pool with Mountain Views, hotel restaurant serves authentic delicious dishes. The receptionist was extremely helpful :) He contacted my via WeChat ahead of the trip to help arrange a pick up from the airport. He also arranged 2 days of tours for us with driver and guide. This was all last minute ! Thank you again, we will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Zhangjiajie is one of the most impressive scenery in China. Must visit !

I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station. The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more. I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward to coming back. This is an excellent place to stay and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Zhangjiajie. Accessibility to the Zhangjiajie park is about 10 mins away and about 1 hour from the Tianmenshan park. The hotel provides transportation for anywhere you need to go in Zhangjiajie. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have an amazing experience at a beautiful stay in Zhangjiajie

The place is amazing! So beautiful and the staff is great! The food is farm to table , the food is really good. You can bake your own cookies and we had the best tea experience I have gone to tea houses in Japan and this lady , her tea which she makes herself is one of the best teas I ever tried. And I love tea. I will definitely vibe back if I have the opportunity. Spectacular views of the mountains and sunsets . Also you can walk around . I definitely recommended .

Wonderful stay for our honeymoon. Very conveniently located to the Zhangjiajie national park, delicious food, beautiful refreshing pool, great sound system and music taste and the kindest staff, especially Frankie and the tea master! We thoroughly recommend this stay.

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. We were only here for 2 nights but felt right at home. Frankie took care of everything even before we arrived to Zhangjiajie and arranged for our entire trip from start to finish, including daily transport in and out of the park, and our wonderful dinner one of the nights. We even sang karaoke on our last night. Its a lot of fun! I highly recommend if anyone is considering. The west entrance is also quiet and away from the crowds for a quiet retreat.

We had a great stay at the No. 5 Valley Lodge! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to the West Entrance of the park and offers rides to the entrance on days you wish to explore. On our day at the resort, there were fun activities organized by the hotel, a beautiful pool overlooking the valley, and rice fields you could walk along! If we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we will be sure to return!

Super unique stay in Zhang Jia Jie! 1000/10 recommend if you are visiting. Food was delicious, hospitality was amazing, Frankie was really helpful and kind. The rooms and atmosphere is very relaxing and zen, there’s a beautiful infinity pool and another pool. Lots of activities and a tea master at the hotel was one of a kind !

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Avatar Mountains and the national park. Service from the airport and to all attractions, whenever you want. Rain was very helpful and professional. Spoke very good english and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely the best way to enjoy your trip to that region. The facilities and resort are clean and very unique. 100% would recommend. Thank you !!

We had a blast here and highly recommend this place for all future travelers - especially if you’re here to spend time at the National Parks.

So ein schönes Hotel! Vielen Dank an Frankie und an das gesamte liebe Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl bei euch gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren groß und der Ausblick in die Berge vom Balkon aus ein Traum. Die gesamte Anlage war sehr schön gemacht. Wir empfehlen euch gerne weiter

We had a great stay at the hotel. They reallly make a effort so that all our needs are attended to. The room has a amazing view e the staff are very helpfull. The fact that can easily comunicate in english is also great. Frankie e the lady from the tea room (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) were really special. I highly recommend the hotel!!

We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. He was even on hand over Alipay chat to answer questions we had whilst on day trips. Frankie’s dog was also very sweet and warmly greeted us whenever she saw us :) Yama served us wonderful tea and was fascinating to speak to. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place. The surrounding area is amazing and we so enjoyed the national park, ancient town and “Grand Canyon”.

Unreal stay — a hidden gem in Zhangjiajie! We had an amazing two-night stay at No.5 Valley Lodge, and Frankie and the team went above and beyond to look after us. They arranged our airport and train station transfers seamlessly, and the complimentary shuttle to the national park entrance was super convenient. Dinner each night was lovely — simple but tasty — and the lodge itself has an incredible ambience: peaceful, natural, and slightly rustic in the best way. Our room was absolutely sublime, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but honestly, that only added to the charm — it’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Frankie speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. He even helped us plan our route through Zhangjiajie National Park and came to the rescue when we got lost! Unreal stay — a hidden gem in Zhangjiajie! We had an amazing two-night stay at No.5 Valley Lodge, and Frankie and the team went above and beyond to look after us. They arranged our airport and train station transfers seamlessly, and the complimentary shuttle to the national park entrance was super convenient. Dinner each night was lovely — simple but tasty — and the lodge itself has an incredible ambience: peaceful, natural, and slightly rustic in the best way. Our room was absolutely sublime, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but honestly, that only added to the charm — it’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Frankie speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. He even helped us plan our route through Zhangjiajie National Park and came to the rescue when we got lost! Super unique stay in Zhang Jia Jie! 1000/10 recommend if you are visiting. Food was delicious, hospitality was amazing, Frankie was really helpful and kind. The rooms and atmosphere is very relaxing and zen, there’s a beautiful infinity pool and another pool. Lots of activities and a tea master at the hotel was one of a kind !

The guys on reception were so helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. Free drop off to park entrance, 5 mins away and would pick us up as arranged on WeChat. Lovely and peaceful place to stay, extremely comfortable rooms, bed etc and shower had great pressure…..a real favourite in a hotel for us.

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Avatar Mountains and the national park. Service from the airport and to all attractions, whenever you want. Rain was very helpful and professional. Spoke very good english and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely the best way to enjoy your trip to that region. I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station. The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more. I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward to coming back. This is an excellent place to stay and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Zhangjiajie. Accessibility to the Zhangjiajie park is about 10 mins away and about 1 hour from the Tianmenshan park. The hotel provides transportation for anywhere you need to go in Zhangjiajie. It was a very memorable stay for our family here. The view was exceptional. The best part about our stay is having Frankie coordinate everything for us from pick up at train station, dinning, tickets to Zhangjaijei National park to the ins and outs of the area. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I visit.

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. We were only here for 2 nights but felt right at home. Frankie took care of everything even before we arrived to Zhangjiajie and arranged for our entire trip from start to finish, including daily transport in and out of the park, and our wonderful dinner one of the nights. We even sang karaoke on our last night. Its a lot of fun! I highly recommend if anyone is considering. The west entrance is also quiet and away from the crowds for a quiet retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at No. 5 Valley Lodge. The staffs were so helpful and friendly. Frankie was the best. He arranged everything for us from national park tickets, meals, transportation. Anything we ever needed. They were also available through wechat at all times if we had any questions. The hotel is far from downtown (if you want to go to other destinations) but very close to Zhangjiajie NP. Highly recommend this place and we would absolutely book again if we come back.

It was amazing and beyond what you see in photos. From the time of arrival, we were greeted warmly and professionally by Frank. The comfort of the room, the delicious meals, serene and beautiful setting made it a comfortable retreat after long days in the National park. We were pleasantly surprised by the tea master who is often available to serve up a variety of teas. It was delicious and educational. You are better off with car as it is some distance from town and the main park entrance, but it’s worth it to stay away from the crowds. I’d stay there again!

We had a great stay at the No. 5 Valley Lodge! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to the West Entrance of the park and offers rides to the entrance on days you wish to explore. On our day at the resort, there were fun activities organized by the hotel, a beautiful pool overlooking the valley, and rice fields you could walk along! If we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we will be sure to return!

We had a fantastic stay at No.5 Valley Lodge. The accommodation was fabulous, great infinity swimming pool with Mountain Views, hotel restaurant serves authentic delicious dishes. The receptionist was extremely helpful :) He contacted my via WeChat ahead of the trip to help arrange a pick up from the airport. He also arranged 2 days of tours for us with driver and guide. This was all last minute ! Thank you again, we will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Zhangjiajie is one of the most impressive scenery in China. Must visit !

Wonderful stay for our honeymoon. Very conveniently located to the Zhangjiajie national park, delicious food, beautiful refreshing pool, great sound system and music taste and the kindest staff, especially Frankie and the tea master! We thoroughly recommend this stay.

From check-in to check-out, the service was nothing short of exceptional. Frankie went above and beyond to make our stay both phenomenal and effortless. Thanks to his help, arranging transportation and securing tickets for attractions was completely stress-free—I didn’t have to worry about a thing.The room and lodge were absolutely stunning and truly one of a kind. The ambiance and cozy atmosphere were unlike anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and after a day full of walking and exploring, relaxing in the infinity pool after a great meal felt surreal.The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and I can’t thank Frankie enough for making our experience genuinely unforgettable!

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. We were only here for 2 nights but felt right at home. Frankie took care of everything even before we arrived to Zhangjiajie and arranged for our entire trip from start to finish, including daily transport in and out of the park, and our wonderful dinner one of the nights. We even sang karaoke on our last night. Its a lot of fun! I highly recommend if anyone is considering. The west entrance is also quiet and away from the crowds for a quiet retreat.

Unreal stay — a hidden gem in Zhangjiajie! We had an amazing two-night stay at No.5 Valley Lodge, and Frankie and the team went above and beyond to look after us. They arranged our airport and train station transfers seamlessly, and the complimentary shuttle to the national park entrance was super convenient. Dinner each night was lovely — simple but tasty — and the lodge itself has an incredible ambience: peaceful, natural, and slightly rustic in the best way. Our room was absolutely sublime, spacious, and beautifully designed. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but honestly, that only added to the charm — it’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Frankie speaks excellent English, which made communication effortless. He even helped us plan our route through Zhangjiajie National Park and came to the rescue when we got lost! It’s not close to the city, but that’s part of what makes it so special — you’re surrounded by nature and tranquility. Highly recommend staying here before the area gets overrun by Western tourists. A truly unforgettable experience!

Super unique stay in Zhang Jia Jie! 1000/10 recommend if you are visiting. Food was delicious, hospitality was amazing, Frankie was really helpful and kind. Lugar belíssimo e staff muito atencioso. Rain, Olivia, Max (o cachorro) e todos os outros funcionários nos receberam muito bem. Fica próximo ao portão OESTE do Parque Florestal e, apesar de não ser próximo da cidade, tem um restaurante com pratos deliciosos, o que foi bem cômodo. Excelente para ficar longe da agitação e relaxar. Com certeza voltaria e levaria a família.

First, be aware, this is a lodge not a hotell. So expect more bungalow style comfort! The roome we had, which had a terrace and a fantastic swingchair overlooking the forest was very idylic. But, the location is very remote. Its very relaxing, as there is nothing around, but also very unconvinient. If you are here to visit the national forest park with the avatar mountains, its a fantastic location. If you are doing many of the other attractions it is very far away. We went to the glas bridge, booked taxi for 07:15 to beat the que( Before breakfast, which starts at 8), and arrived at the glass bridge at 09:00, this was without traffic. Tiaman mountain and yellow dragen cave are also very far away, so you spend a lot of time and money on transportation, if you a planning a longer stay. So even though, the staff here, especially Olivia is very helpful and great in English, chose this place if the relaxing feel is important. It almost feel like a bungalow in Bali, but you dont have access to other restaurants or markeds. So you are stuck with what is there, and for me personally, i didnt like the food much, so i ended up buying food in the city after one of our tours and eate at the room in the evening. Which i didnt really mind because the terrace was so nice and it was so different from the other big cities we visited in China. Although, we skipped Tiaman mountains, as too tired of transportation, we enjoyed the relaxation of the place. I highly recomend it, for the right ppl.
