Recently stayed at this cottage for an ice fishing trip. Perfect spot, easy to access the lake. The cottage itself is a very nice place, clean, plenty of space for a small group. I would book this stay again in the future.

Very nice place. Comfy and clean. Plenty of parking space. The lake house had all the amenities we needed. Location is convenient and right near the lake access. The Host was very responsive to any questions and or concerns . Definitely would recommend !

We were very pleased with our stay here. Alana was very quick to respond to all messages before and during our stay. The house had everything we needed while we were here. Plenty of parking and easy access to the lake for a day of ice fishing. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I rented the house on the lake so I could enjoy time with my kids and grandkids from California. There was plenty of room for the six of us and my two little dogs. The location and lake access was great. We were able to bbq, use the kayaks and just relax. Host very responsive to any questions. Would definitely start again.

Good space for 3 adults and two kids to stay, 25 min commute to Colby college and Quarry Road trails. Couch was comfy and nice for gathering. Beds also comfy and the double bunks were helpful for our group. Plow came quickly after snowstorm. We didn’t get out on the lake due to cold but nice to have it close by.

The home was perfect for family fun kayaking, swimming and boating. The location to Great Pond was great with a beach/launch area we all enjoyed. We brought out Golden Retriever Ruby who learned to swim this week and actually jump off the dock. All of us had a fun week.

Enjoyed a quick stay at this quiet lake side cottage. We appreciated having the window A/C as the temp was a little warmer than expected for October. Having access to the kayaks was a nice added benefit. It was a comfortable stay for our family of four.

Nice place to stay, very clean and neat. We loved the shared beach area, we were the only people around both times that we went to the beach with our 7 yr old yellow lab….she loved it there.

Lovely, well-kept lakefront. Cottage was well equipped, exactly as described and was neat as a pin. Had access to all the water toys and common areas. Family members communicated well and gave us as much privacy as we wanted. We were blessed with perfect weather and look forward to a return trip next year.

We had a great time at Driftwood Cottage. The location was perfect! We could see the lake from our deck and only had to walk past a few houses to get to the shared beach area. It was very quiet and relaxing. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had almost everything we needed for the week. Alana was very responsive to my questions and needs. The lake is absolutely beautiful. I can honestly say that this was one of the best places we have rented from VRBO.

This well appointed home was much bigger than expected. After a long drive, I was so impressed to be able to walk in and see that everything was so spacious & beautifully set up. With only two of us on this trip, we didn't even need to use the upper level, except to take a look at the wonderful Loft & 2 Bedrooms up there. Loved having a 1st floor Bedroom & Full Bath! Everything was clean & easy to use. Gorgeous views of the lake with fall foliage was a bonus! I'd love to stay here again. We used to live in the area, so it was like coming home. Great location, close to both Waterville & Augusta, just around the corner from Christy's Convenience Store & gas station, and minutes to Belgrade Lakes shops & restaurants. The Owner was in touch to make sure all was well & answer any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

This cute home has it all… it’s clean.. all the comforts of home!! Myself and 3 of my sisters did a girls weekend!! We didn’t need a thing we may of forgotten to bring but the owners did a tremendous job of making sure the kitchen has all you may need!! Every attention to detail was recognized!! Thanks Alana! I hope we can stay again! Deb J

We were very pleased with our stay at Driftwood Cottage. The cottage was very clean top to bottom and we didn't have to contact the owner with any issues, which is always good. We wouldn't mind staying there again in the future.

Everything went well with our stay. Alana was timely and helpful in all our communications. The property was clean and exactly as presented in the listing. My wife is handicapped with mobility issues and found getting around was no problem. The only challenge for us was using the TV, since we are not up on the latest technology. We also aren’t familiar with the immediate area which made it harder for us to find alternatives to our planned outside activities on rainy days.

The place was nice and clean. The area was quiet. Only two things that were not major… There was no railing to the upstairs. The TV remote was not easy to use and it was confusing to find a channel to watch. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

My wife and I just returned from a weeklong stay on Great Pond. The house and grounds were exactly as advertised. We loved the small cozy cabin, which is perfect for a couple. This area of the lake is quiet and peaceful. We loved spending time in the "summer house" which is an outdoor pavilion right beside the lake. The property has been owned and managed by a family for three generations. The family members whom we met were friendly and very accommodating. They truly worked hard to make us feel welcome while also respecting our privacy. The shared outdoor space worked out fine as there was plenty of room and seating options. We certainly would recommend this location would like to return some day.

Me and two of my friends booked this property for an annual fishing trip to Belgrade. The property was perfect. Not only was it exactly as advertised but it totally exceeded our expectation. With one kid already in college locally and the other on their way there in August we have got to know this neck of the woods quite well in recent years. Driftwood Cottage provides a perfect base for visits to the area with great access to Augusta and Waterville while sitting in the idyllic Belgrade Lakes region.We don’t visit Maine for fancy, we want practical, comfortable, clean and convenient and this house that in spades. We also greatly appreciated the dog-friendliness!Hosts could not have been more welcoming or communicative. So look out, we could be back soon!Thank you!

A very comfortable cottage, we had everything we needed. Driftwood Cottage was cozy, amenities were top of the line. It is a beautiful area even in the late fall. Host, Alana, was exceptionally responsive to any questions I had.

Everything went well with our stay. Alana was timely and helpful in all our communications. The property was clean and exactly as presented in the listing. My wife is handicapped with mobility issues and found getting around was no problem. The only challenge for us was using the TV, since we are not up on the latest technology. We also aren’t familiar with the immediate area which made it harder for us to find alternatives to our planned outside activities on rainy days.

Accurate listing, great location (easy drive to Augusta for dinner), really peaceful and quiet. GPS had a minor problem right at the end trying to send us through a neighbor's trailer, but we figured it out (the external pictures helped). Loved our stay there, even though it was just overnight on the way to somewhere else. Next time, we'll stay for a week.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Alana was very quick to respond to all messages before and during our stay. The house had everything we needed while we were here. Plenty of parking and easy access to the lake for a day of ice fishing. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This well appointed home was much bigger than expected. After a long drive, I was so impressed to be able to walk in and see that everything was so spacious & beautifully set up. With only two of us on this trip, we didn't even need to use the upper level, except to take a look at the wonderful Loft & 2 Bedrooms up there. Loved having a 1st floor Bedroom & Full Bath! Everything was clean & easy to use. Gorgeous views of the lake with fall foliage was a bonus! I'd love to stay here again. We used to live in the area, so it was like coming home. Great location, close to both Waterville & Augusta, just around the corner from Christy's Convenience Store & gas station, and minutes to Belgrade Lakes shops & restaurants. The Owner was in touch to make sure all was well & answer any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

With one kid already in college locally and the other on their way there in August we have got to know this neck of the woods quite well in recent years. Driftwood Cottage provides a perfect base for visits to the area with great access to Augusta and Waterville while sitting in the idyllic Belgrade Lakes region.We don’t visit Maine for fancy, we want practical, comfortable, clean and convenient and this house that in spades. We also greatly appreciated the dog-friendliness!Hosts could not have been more welcoming or communicative. So look out, we could be back soon!Thank you!

Good space for 3 adults and two kids to stay, 25 min commute to Colby college and Quarry Road trails. Couch was comfy and nice for gathering. Beds also comfy and the double bunks were helpful for our group. Plow came quickly after snowstorm. We didn’t get out on the lake due to cold but nice to have it close by.

The home was perfect for family fun kayaking, swimming and boating. The location to Great Pond was great with a beach/launch area we all enjoyed. We brought out Golden Retriever Ruby who learned to swim this week and actually jump off the dock. All of us had a fun week.

We had a great time at Driftwood Cottage. The location was perfect! We could see the lake from our deck and only had to walk past a few houses to get to the shared beach area. It was very quiet and relaxing. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had almost everything we needed for the week. Alana was very responsive to my questions and needs. The lake is absolutely beautiful. I can honestly say that this was one of the best places we have rented from VRBO.

We have rented quite a few cabins in this area of Maine. This one is by far the best! Easy check-in, the cabin itself was extremely clean, especially considering dogs are allowed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and even the little things like dish soap, dish scrub and even baggies. We loved the outdoor space and location to the lake. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!
