Lediglich bezgl der Parkplätze war es schrecklich. Haben uns dann abends doch noch in eine Lücke quetschen können. Das Parkhaus war ausgebucht.

We hadden meer verwacht van ons verblijf in dit hotel. We zijn veel tijd verloren met wachten in het hotel. We moesten meer dan een uur wachten voor de check-in, 's avonds aan de bar moesten we 15 minuten wachten op ons drankje en 's ochtends werkte er slechts 1 lift waardoor we weer moesten wachten. De kamer was wel in orde. Alles was er wat er moest zijn maar we voelden niet het luxe gevoel waarnaar we steeds op zoek zijn bij een hotelervaring.

Zimmer sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Waren auch nicht das erste Mal da. Wir hatten ein Zimmer ganz oben im 12. Stock mit toller Aussicht. Allerdings waren die Fahrstühle schlecht programmiert, einer war auch defekt, wir mussten lange auf einen Aufzug warten.

Great place to stay. Pretty close walk to the main station. I liked the 24 hr service and bar that is available, but be patient as there is usually only one bartender. Nearest restaurants are a bit of a walk so just be aware of that.

Ein sehr schönes und modernes Hotel, unweit des Bahnhofs. Offenbar wegen EDV-Problemen ging aber schon beim Einchecken nichts mehr. Dass am nächsten Tag die Schlüsselkarte nicht mehr funktionierte und der Aufzug ausgefallen war, kann passieren. Die Anzahl der Sitzplätze beim ansonsten umfangreichen und hochwertigen Frühstück sind so knapp bemessen, dass man auf die Lobby ausweichen oder sich zu Fremden an den Tisch setzen musste.

Da Niu ist gut gelegen hinter dem HBF in Düsseldorf. Für zwei Nächte war es total ausreichend fürs uns. Man ist schnell in der Stadt. Check-in war etwas stolprig, aber ok. Ausreichend ausgestattetes Zimmer. Im Bad mangelt es etwas an Sauberkeit: Decke war besprenkelt, Klobürste total dreckig, Föhn vollgestaubt, Mülleimer kaputt - Spiegel im Zimmer ziemlich staubig. Schade ist, dass man die Fenster nicht richtig öffnen kann zum Durchlüften. Wir empfanden es trotz der Lüftung als sehr stickig. Kosten für Tiefgarage sind mit 22 Euro die Nacht echt happig, aber mit Glück findet man was in den angrenzenden Straßen. Steckdosen waren für meinen Geschmack auch etwas rar im Zimmer. Alles in allem ausreichend, man hätte hier und da noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten verbessern können und die fehlende Sauberkeit trägt ebenfalls dazu bei.

The hotel is 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the main train station, but the area looks a bit shady at night. The hotel is very good condition, although some dirt could be seen on the hallways and on my bedroom ceiling. Overall a pleasant experience, but not the best impression I’ve had from other Holiday Inn hotels.

I like the area, arrived with bus so it was a couple of blocks walk to the hotel. It's easy to confuse with the Holiday Inn right across the road. The corridors and everything around felt new and soundproof in a way. But as i got into my room and had a look around, something crawled. and yep, it was a silverfish. I know they're not dangerous in any way and they can show up anywhere. But still it's not a nice thing. Beside that i would definitly try this place again Walkable area Didn't try restaurant or breakfast though

Zimmer schön und sauber. Leider etwas Schimmel an den Fugen bei der Dusche. Wurde in das falsche Zimmer eingecheckt, wo bereits eine Frau drin war, das war leider sehr unangenehm, trotz Entschuldigung des Personals kam mir das ganze sehr kühl und anteilnahmslos vor.

Wie waren zwei Nächte im Hotel und würden wieder kommen. Es war absolut ruhig in der Nacht und das Frühstück war super. Alle Angestellten waren total freundlich. Die Zimmer sind super sauber die Matratzen sind gut jedoch ist der Boden im Flur echt nicht sauber… was nicht so viel Sinn macht da die Zimmer sauber sind.

Hotel ist fussläufig zum Bahnhof. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Zimmereinrichtung ist aber gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Betten haben Rollen und bewegen sich deshalb. Großer unnützer Monsterspiegel. Hocker als Nachttisch, „Tapeziertisch“ als Schreibtisch. Vielleicht bin ich aber auch einfach zu alt für diese Art von Hotel.

I was upgraded to a larger room for free, but the bed had a literal divide in the middle that kept coming apart. More than once I almost fell through the middle. I appreciate the gesture, but my original single bed would have been more appropriate. Otherwise nice, but sparce. The bathroom was very clean and the decor was cute.

The hotel is brand new, conveniently located, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean overall. However, the beds were an issue. Even though I booked a double bed I didn’t really got one, there was just two single beds pushed together. Both nights were quite challenging, as the beds would easily separate, creating a large gap. Waking up in the middle of the night after falling into the gap didn’t make for the best rest. Additionally, there was no kettle or mugs in the room. However, an iron and ironing table were provided upon request.

Stayed here for a business trip. It was alright but there weren't very many amenities. No coffee machine or kettle in the room, the only toiletries was one soap. My queen bed was actually two small beds pushed together and they kept sliding apart in the middle of the night.

The lady at reception when we arrived early was rude and unhelpful. When we checked in later, there was someone else and he was friendly, efficient and the check-in was quick. The room was large and comfortable. As there is no shower door, we had some localised flooding in the bathroom. The bed was big, comfortable and had sufficient pillows. I have to be honest… this is a BRILLIANT hotel! Great location, lovely modern rooms, great shower, comfy beds, blackout curtains, good sound proofing and a brilliant breakfast (shout out to the pancake making machine and Nutella dispenser!!). The only thing to let it down is some of the staff. Whilst many were friendly (especially at breakfast time), check-in was very slow (and not sure it was an isolated case as during our stay we often saw long queues for check in). And sadly the bar staff were the most miserable of all. No smiles, getting a drink seemed like an ordeal and you didn’t get made to feel like a welcomed guest; more of an inconvenience. However I would return as everything else was so good. Maybe next time I’ll get a smile or two! :)

Check in was a disaster as the reception couldn't find out booking, we waited 40mins for the manager to come so he can put a manual booking in so we can check in, when we got to our room the TV didn't work, we spoke to reception but we're told no one works the weekend to fix it, we.stayed the whole trip without any TV in our room.

Check In hat sehr lange gedauert, da sich zwei Mitarbeiterinnen um eine Gruppe von 6 Gästen gekümmert hat, wo es offensichtlich Schwierigkeiten gab bei der Reservierung! Es bildete sich eine Schlange bis zur Türe. Ich bat dann darum, dass vielleicht eine Person sich um die offensichtlich mittlerweile genervten Gäste kümmern könnte, was dann erst passierte! The hotel is 10 minutes away (walking distance) from the main train station, but the area looks a bit shady at night. The hotel is very good condition, although some dirt could be seen on the hallways and on my bedroom ceiling. Overall a pleasant experience, but not the best impression I’ve had from other Holiday Inn hotels.

The NIU is a nice Hotel, modern and trendy, the room was nice and the Japanese artwork was beautiful in the bathroom of the Hotel room. A reasonable price just for the stay, but the breakfast was unaffordable at 17€ per day. Either way, nice location within a few minutes walk of the main train station, though the backside of the main train station can be seen as unwelcoming.

Great place to stay. Pretty close walk to the main station. I liked the 24 hr service and bar that is available, but be patient as there is usually only one bartender. Nearest restaurants are a bit of a walk so just be aware of that.

The hotel was excellent, well-placed for the city. It was good value for money. The staff were ultra helpful, even when I had a minor medical emergency. I cannot thank them enough. The food was always very good either at breakfast( although I was a bit puzzled with no bacon). The evening menu was good and tasty too.

Check in was fine and the bar staff were wonderful but my room came with two beds joined together while I specifically chose a room with one bed. Also the tv in my room didn’t work and the app mentioned that tv in the room is smart which wasn’t.I complained many times ti the reception and I kept being promised it will be fixed by the technician that never came till I left.I planned to watch the Germany Ivory Coast match in the comfort of my room but ended up watching it in town which costed more.I feel cheated!

Very bad air conditioning in the room, too hot which make difficult to sleep. No possibility to improve the air. Please consider carefully if traveling during summer. They just said that there will be only possible to have 7 degree cooler in the room based on the outside temperature. If we have 31 degrees max temperature in the room is 24. However, if was hotter than that and no possibility of ventilation or fan. Also, they change the price of the breakfast as they want. One day 17 EUR, another day 19 EUR. Breakfast was OK. But will not stay again.
