The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The location is great. Due to this being a historical building, the bathroom was tiny and had no storage and barely any place to hang a towel. Also, the hot tub wasn't hot (just warm) and the jets didn't work.

This place needs an overhaul. The towels are frayed and cheap, the couch was uncomfortable and stained, the heat was hard to control-radiators. It was either full on hot or turn it off completely. We opened the windows to control the temps. The breakfast was sugary pastries and cold cereal and there was no decaf coffee. The parking is very tight when there is snow as they didn't plow and haul it all away, so parking was difficult with a larger vehicle. There were big berms of snow left in the parking lot and it seemed to be poorly managed. The only positive is that the hotel is downtown so a good location. Would not stay there again.

I cannot express enough how BEAUTIFUL The Bristol is. Parking was super convenient, right outside the doors. It was right downtown, so everything was easily walkable. One of the most highly recommended restaurants was actually right under/beside The Bristol (Mazzalo’s). The staff was so kind. The rooms are pretty small which was a little aggravating when it came to getting ready and having your suitcases laid out but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Just something to be aware of. Don’t be expecting a super spacious room. Only issue we had (and it wasn’t anything serious) was that we got all excited to use the hot tub after seeing it had the cutest little view of downtown, and it was FREEZING. Ha. Again - nothing serious. Just realize and enter with caution so you don’t polar plunge!

The hotel was welcoming and comfortable. I absolutely loved our room, two rooms separated by a jack and Jill bathroom. We just wished the hot tub was working. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Definitely want to stay again next winter

Staff lugged our bags upstairs, but we'd have liked an elevator. We met a nice couple at breakfast, served in homey lobby, and had good dinners in town, but all in all, not a luxury hotel experience. TV didn't work.

No elevator -Curbed staircase. I should have ordered accessible room. I am visually impaired and walking with guide dog up and down curved staircase that didn’t have banister on both sides made it difficult.

Great location. Quaint and historical. Hot tub cooler than bath water.Tacked on 20 bucks at check in for parking! Tout scones and coffee in the morning. No scones so far. We like the Bristol but think it’s a little over priced these days.

It's a great place right in downtown so you can walk everywhere. They don't really have a parking lot, but do have spaces available at the property. It's a 2 story building with no elevator, so it's not so great for older people who have to carry their luggage up and down the stairs. We asked for a room with 2 queen beds as we were traveling with our adult son and like to hang out together in the room. But the room we were given was a Jack & Jill room with the bathroom between the 2 rooms. There were no chairs in the rooms, so we couldn't really all hang out together in the room. Our son even noted that he didn't like the separate rooms. The front desk people were great and helpful with any questions.

They had given my room away. I had pre-paid and had confirmation but they said they were full and I had checked in earlier. They had my confirmation form but someone else had signed in and gotten room. In the end they did get me a room. All good. I would move the extra tile and construction stuff out of hot tub room though or just put up a curtain

This hotel was dingy and poorly maintained. We were very disappointed. Our room was tiny, with a tiny tv and a tiny bathroom which hadn’t been thorough cleaned in what seemed like years. For more than $300 per night, this is a complete rip off.

Room very dirty, dirt in bed, nothing wiped down in a long time, cob webs, dirty bathroom Floor, linens not clean, lady checking us in did not speak English. This used to be our favorite place to stay, we will no longer stay here.

The shower floor was so dirty with mold/mildew that I didn’t want to step into it. A bath towel had holes in it. For that matter there was a hole in the bottom of the bathroom wall by the shower from water damage. Toilet tank was lose. Plastic covering to protect the refrigerator in shipment was only partially removed.

Very unique old property, my room was actually 2 rooms? Because of a shared shower/bath. One room older but fine, bed good and AC worked great, the other room had a missing tall mirror with all the glue showing the room was warmer. The shared bath shower wasn't very clean! Property in great area for shopping and dining, right next to Harwigs, a great restaurant when open. Some staff great another seemed rude to myself and others. Fees payable at checkin were higher than app had said, they were going to let their manager know. Convenient parking.

This quaint little hotel in the heart of Steamboat was perfect for our girls getaway trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We were able to walk to everything. A great choice in downtown Steambaot!

This hotel has location going for it, very convenient downtown and walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping. Great location. For the price paid, I expected a more upgraded hotel, it is getting a bit run down and not as clean as I expected. Eclectic and botique - yes. But they don't appear to be reinvesting in the condition of the facility to deliver a better experience for the price paid.

The Bristol has a fantastic location on Main Street; with the Yampa River 1 block behind it. Everything in walking distance. It’s an older property; and rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean yet pretty small.

This is a cute older hotel in the middle of downtown Steamboat Springs. The room we stayed in is tiny, probably the smallest room i have ever stayed in. The shower is equally tiny just perfect for my 4ft 11 inch small frame. Not so for my average size husband! There is no space in the room for a chair but there are several cozy sitting areas available. This is a funky and fun hotel with a lot of character, good beds and a friendly staff. Not sure if it is worth the price tag but i guess everything is high priced these days?

Initially, the room we were assigned was extremely tight for a King size bed room. Had we known, we would have paid less for a double room suite. When we got to our room we found that our sink was not draining. We told the front desk and they moved us to another room right away. We got moved across the hall to a double room suite which was much more spacious. It was an odd setup since it is an older hotel - you had to go through the bathroom to reach the 2nd room/living room area. The hotel is under new management so they're still working through the kinks and figuring out what needs fixing. Appreciated their quick action. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a comfortable stay and bedroom. We were on the 1st floor so only view was the parking lot. They do have a hot tub but hours were 10a-10p so we didn't get a chance to try it based on our plans.

Very small rooms, difficult to see on website. Heating was difficult to use. Kept window open during very cold weather to compensate. Staff was very nice, but expect accommodations to be comparable to a very old building.

Excellent property. Room was cute and nicely updated. Only complaint is our bedroom was over the kitchen of the restaurant next door, so it was incredibly noisy even past midnight. A warning or even ear plugs would have been great. By the time we heard the noise it was past the front desks hours, so we couldn’t get a room switch. Without the noise it was an excellent experience.

I will not stay there again!!! The rooms are tiny, maybe 2ft perimeter around the bed. Kept hitting ourselves on the bed trying to walk around. The bathroom is about the size of an airline bathroom. Smallest most awkward shower imaginable. For them to charge over $300 is insane. The desk wasn’t manned at either our arrival or departure. The ice machine was broken. The only positive I can say is the location, but I’m sure there’s better places.

It was in a great spot, loved most things about it, but definitely get a suite. The other rooms, the one we stayed in, was tiny. Nowhere to put anything or sit or move. Tiny bathroom. But we saw other rooms with a couch and desk and space to move, and those looked good. They just didn't have any available. Great place if you get a bigger room.

Nice location. Easy convenient parking along side the building. Short walk to restaurants and shopping as well as to the park and the trail by the river. The room was clean and had all the amenities you would need, but this is an old building and the room was very small. My wife and I and our two full-size dogs were a little squished, but we were only there for one night so it was managable.

Right in the heart of town-walkable to everywhere. Paid ahead of time on hotels.com and was then charged again at the property- they corrected it the next day. The coffee and warm scones were a bonus! Older hotel but clean and room somewhat updated.

The hotel is under new management so they're still working through the kinks and figuring out what needs fixing. Appreciated their quick action. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a comfortable stay and bedroom. We were on the 1st floor so only view was the parking lot. They do have a hot tub but hours were 10a-10p so we didn't get a chance to try it based on our plans.
Initially, the room we were assigned was extremely tight for a King size bed room. Had we known, we would have paid less for a double room suite. When we got to our room we found that our sink was not draining. We told the front desk and they moved us to another room right away. We got moved across the hall to a double room suite which was much more spacious. It was an odd setup since it is an older hotel - you had to go through the bathroom to reach the 2nd room/living room area. The hotel is 80 yrs old having said that the rooms are tiny, the wall paper is pealing off the walls. I got locked out of my room from the bathroom and had to walk in the hall in a towel to get back in my room. The fire alarm went off in my room while i was not in the room. When i came back it was loud and took 15 min to turn off...no fire btw. There is no alarm clock in the room. There is one kureg for the whole hotel. The coffee lone in the morning is not worth the wait. my unit was the only one with out cable tv. I was not i formed of this till i asked about it. Hotel staff is not on site past 8pm so if yiu need anything you have to call a security company. Kind if a weird ask for extra towels. It was hard to stay here.

Very unique old property, my room was actually 2 rooms? Because of a shared shower/bath. They had given my room away. I had pre-paid and had confirmation but they said they were full and I had checked in earlier. They had my confirmation form but someone else had signed in and gotten room. In the end they did get me a room. All good. I would move the extra tile and construction stuff out of hot tub room though or just put up a curtain

This hotel is an absolute gem! Not only is it lovely, quaint, and beautifully maintained, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The customer service was truly above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced – every staff member went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. The breakfast snacks were outstanding and a wonderful touch that made the mornings even better. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I will absolutely recommend this hotel to others. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in town!

Bristol is a super cute boutique hotel right in the center of Steamboat Springs town. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants and bars. We loved the amenities that they offered although we didn’t have enough time to use them all. Will definitely return in the future when our travels take us back to Steamboat!

This quaint little hotel in the heart of Steamboat was perfect for our girls getaway trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We were able to walk to everything. A great choice in downtown Steambaot!

We had a fantastic time. The staff was incredible and super friendly. Our room was updated but still kept the charm off the building. And the scones were hot fresh and delish. Very nice touch from your basic continental breakfast

This place needs an overhaul. The towels are frayed and cheap, the couch was uncomfortable and stained, the heat was hard to control-radiators. It was either full on hot or turn it off completely. We opened the windows to control the temps. The breakfast was sugary pastries and cold cereal and there was no decaf coffee. The parking is very tight when there is snow as they didn't plow and haul it all away, so parking was difficult with a larger vehicle. There were big berms of snow left in the parking lot and it seemed to be poorly managed. The only positive is that the hotel is downtown so a good location. Would not stay there again.

We loved the location and the charm of The Bristol. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was super cozy and comfy. Loved that there is coffee and tea available all day. Didn't use the hot tub, but looked inviting. Walking along the Yampa River was wonderful. Definitely will come back.

The location, parking and actual room was okay. Tiny room and bathroom but clean and king bed was very comfortable. It was very warm and the wall AC was somewhat confusing with remote control device. It really did not work as well as it should. The TV was so fixed to the far side wall that one could not totate to enjoy. The front desk was not covered that well however I was able to feet in the back office to tell me there was someone on duty. The big disappointment was breakfast. The place was very dirty already at 8:45 AM. No regular cream for coffee, cereal mess everywhere, fresh fruit looked like it was very old and the " scones" looked like leftovers.

Overall we were really happy with our stay. The staff is top notch and friendly. Coffee and light breakfast was an awesome surprise. This is an older hotel in the heart of downtown where you can walk to many restaurants, shops, Yampa River.

Hotel location is perfect. Steps away from most restaurants and shopping. Shuttles are available throughout Steamboat for excursions and free bus line will take you to ski area. Rooms are on small side, but if you know and expect this prior to booking in an older building, it's fine. Small breakfast and coffee were available daily. Beds were comfortable and showers had plenty of hot water. Front desk was extra accommodating when Southwest cancelled all flights leaving Steamboat and even helped me plan my escape route from CO when I had to drive home to TX. Would recommend and stay again!

For a quick overnight, this place was great. Comfortable, plenty of area to sit and read, Keurig coffee available 24/7. I would definitely stay again.
