Hotel was under renovation…. It is a “dive”! Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for letting guests pay to stay there! Disgusting carpets and doors to all individual rooms were trashy and had grafiti on some. Pool and spa area unusable because that area had been condemned and closed down. The glass door to the pool area looked like someone had thrown a rock at it. ( photos here)….

It was not to bad but all the pop machines and ice machines were not working. The third floor has a musty smell plus some cigarettes or some kind of smoke smell in the hallway. I understand that some of it is under new management and understand it is under renovation. It was nice that there was a restaurant right there. Not sure if I would stay there again but I might once it is all done. The pool area needed towels, my kids enjoyed the pool and it's nice that you have a laundry room. It said there was a continual breakfast but there was hardly anything there.

We selected this hotel because of the pictures on their website and the amenities listed listed, like the continental breakfast. The is obviously an old, very beat up hotel that someone plans to renovate at some point but it has no business booking guests in the condition it's in now. We are very disappointed in Wyndham. The hotel was nothing like the pictures. The whole property, hallways, and rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The restaurant was not open nor was the bar. There was no continental breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. There were no phones in either of the two rooms we were put in. The first room had two lights not working and the bathroom door had been kicked in. The second room they put us in had the following: The light over the vanity in the bathroom did not work nor did the vent fan. One of the electric plugs beside the bed did not work, the TV remote was not working right and on the second day we were locked out of our room because the key card didn't work. The shower had no inner shower curtain just the cloth one and there was no safety tread in the bottom of the tub. The bathroom door would not shut, there was only one small wastebasket in the room, and there was no hand soap in the room. Finally there was no housekeeping, no one cleaned our room.

I booked my stay on the Internet and it said you have a pool and a bar. Well, the pool is closed and there is no bar. There is nothing in the vending machines. The soda machine was out of order. I thought maybe I could get a compensation back for my stay that the girl at the front desk says it’s not her responsibility to do that but he was very nice.

Staff were incredibly helpful. Restaurant was open 24/7. Pool was nice. A lot of potential. Elevator wasn't working. Hot tub closed. Laundry not working. No vending. The pictures on the site don’t match hotel at all. One of the rooms I rented the door wouldn’t shut. I asked for another room and was told none was available. There was maybe 5 to 8 cars in the lot. I did get the room changed the next day, after we had to move stuff from the broken door room. No coffee, pool was closed. Just a bad experience.

Our room had not been swept and had probably 100 ants on the floor, walls, and even a handful in the bed. The filters in the heating/cooling unit were black and there was mold on the unit itself. Only one actual bath towel in the bathroom, and overall just horribly dirty.

Place was a train wreck. Under staffed. Broken equipment. Terrible breakfast. Room hadn’t been decently cleaned in awhile judging by the cobwebs on the window. Dirty shower. Ratty furniture. Pealing paint. Ripped up rug. Broken hot tub. Never again.

This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. From poop in the toilet and on the seat, dirty carpet sheets not changed. I could go on but not enough space. Please don't be fooled by the pics, they are extremely old pics. I have updated ones.

This is the worst Hotel we have ever stayed at. The place was filthy, the tub was so disgusting we could not shower. Carpets were in great need of a vacuum.floors were dirty. Expedia should not even be promoting this dump. I will be contacting head office.

Had to change room 3 times due to how absolutely filthy they were. Hallways and elevators smelled horrendous. Holes in wall, loud guests, very sketchy people all over. Dirt all over the floor in lobby. When we called to complain about hair (pubic looking) on our bed and said we didnt thibk the room was cleaned properly the lady at the front desk responded by "oh i believe it" meaning this not new for her to get these complaints

Our room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in months if not longer. 2 pairs of socks under our beds and dust bunnies galore. It seemed that they literally swept the dirt under the beds. I personally wouldn’t stay here again. Maybe I should have seen the writing on the wall when the parking lot was completely empty for our entire stay. Even our driver said “this is where you’re staying!?” Yikes. Lesson learned.

Not clean, nothing like the pictures, bedding was dirty and had cigarette burn in the sheets when it was supposed to be a smoke free room, tiny bathroom, had to wait over 25 minutes for someone to come to the front counter to even check us in.

There was a sign posted on the elevator that stated about housing a “ visitor on the do not rent list” and what would happen to anyone housing such person. My lock on the door did not fully engage and I had to use a stool to block my door. My interior door was painted three different colors and my shower did not work correctly. In a hall that was to be no smoking sure reeked if smoke. I was sadly disappointed as this was a Wyndham property and expected more.

The property needs updated. There was an offensive smell in the lobby and 2nd floor hall. Fortunately, the room was clean and had a fresh smell. It was gone the next morning. The curtains in the room were thin, not darkening at all. There were street lights right outside the window, shining so bright I could read by them. There were several signs about a Moonshine lounge, we were told it was closed. Take the signs down.

Hotel is older and rooms are in disrepair. You wouldn’t know from the outside. Our air conditioner unit was held up with 2 cups. The back of the door looked like they started to paint it and gave up. The elevator was scary with male private parts scratched onto the elevator wall. There was mold on the ceiling. There was a hair guard from hair clippers on the bedroom floor and trash under the bathroom cabinet. With all the above complaints the staff was wonderful. The owner of this hotel owes his employees a better place to work and a huge raise.

Rented 2 Rooms at the same time and rooms were not satisfactory due to housekeeping overlooked items, no black-out curtains, not enough pillows for the bed sizes, not enough toilet accessories, in diar need of repairs and upgrades, not enough comfortable seating inside the room, furniture old and worn out, AC not working properly, Hot/Cold water in shower seemed to spiratically change mid-shower and dangerous for children, strong smells of marijuana in the hallways that would also enter your room, no noise barriers from others closing doors or alarming cars, only one small elevator working and it sounded horrible like it was on its last leg, HOT TUB not in working order, photos on the website are all older ones and not recent photos of the pool area or the rooms. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! When my family visits Marietta, Ohio again, we will find another hotel. The only positive thing we witnessed the 4 night stay there was the extremely nice front desk staff named Jenny who took her job to the next level and bent over backwards to help us with every issue including moving us to another room more satisfying. If it weren't for her, we would have left the first day and demanded a refund. Thank you Jenny for making a terrible situation be more bearable during our stay.

I liked that it was quiet. I liked the smoke free room. Parking was close, but rather slippery in parking area. Bed was comfortable. Sheets had black smudge and a cigarette hole on one side, but bedding was clean.Only 2 towels. Refrigerator freezer was super thick with ice and only had 1 shelf. Carpeting had lint or something all over it. We came down for breakfast at 8:15 A.M. Barely warm scrambled eggs and sausage links were pretty much what was left other than some pre packaged mini bagels and apples. There was cooffe, but no tea or orange juice. I didn’t see any condiments for the bagels. Not the best experience, but have been to other Wyndhams in Marietta that were better. Lady at desk was friendly.

Sheets had black smudge and a cigarette hole on one side, but bedding was clean.Only 2 towels. Refrigerator freezer was super thick with ice and only had 1 shelf. Carpeting had lint or something all over it. We came down for breakfast at 8:15 A.M. Barely warm scrambled eggs and sausage links were pretty much what was left other than some pre packaged mini bagels and apples. There was cooffe, but no tea or orange juice. I didn’t see any condiments for the bagels. Not the best experience, but have been to other Wyndhams in Marietta that were better. Lady at desk was friendly.

This was just about the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed at! The "free breakfast" (see picture) consisted of nothing more than pancakes and sausages (of which only two were left by 8 am with no more coming) plus coffee and/or iced water. Oh, and syrup, ketchup or jam/jelly for the pancakes. Nothing else! There was an unpleasant smell from the moment we entered the lobby which was worse in the hallways. We had to move out of our first room because the smoke alarm chirped every two minutes or so. The next room featured a high-pitched squeal that never stopped. We were then moved once more to a third room that was quiet--well, actually not: we could hear muffled music playing the entire night, and the folks in the adjoining room (not from our party) woke up early and we could hear all of their conversations. The room itself was barebones; insufficient lighting (only two lamps), vinyl flooring, room-darkening drapes that did not completely cover the window, a postage-stamp bathroom with unfinished tub/shower enclosure (see picture), no fan, no hair blow-dryer, and no washcloths (we had to use hand towels instead). We saw at least two very drunk patrons stagger in...so not very family-friendly. To their credit, the evening front desk were friendly and did try to address our room problems by moving us, but that couldn't make up for a facility that ought to be condemned or completely rebuilt.

I booked a king deluxe room, and was put in another room — not a king and not deluxe. The advertisement said free continental breakfast — they had none. Then they put a sticker on my vehicle window saying I was not allowed to park in their parking lot and threatened to tow it, despite parking being a part of the room charge.

Rented 2 Rooms at the same time and rooms were not satisfactory due to housekeeping overlooked items, no black-out curtains, not enough pillows for the bed sizes, not enough toilet accessories, in diar need of repairs and upgrades, not enough comfortable seating inside the room, furniture old and worn out, AC not working properly, Hot/Cold water in shower seemed to spiratically change mid-shower and dangerous for children, strong smells of marijuana in the hallways that would also enter your room, no noise barriers from others closing doors or alarming cars, only one small elevator working and it sounded horrible like it was on its last leg, HOT TUB not in working order, photos on the website are all older ones and not recent photos of the pool area or the rooms. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! When my family visits Marietta, Ohio again, we will find another hotel. The only positive thing we witnessed the 4 night stay there was the extremely nice front desk staff named Jenny who took her job to the next level and bent over backwards to help us with every issue including moving us to another room more satisfying. If it weren't for her, we would have left the first day and demanded a refund. Thank you Jenny for making a terrible situation be more bearable during our stay.

Our actual room was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. My issue is with the condition of the lobby and the hallways. The carpet is filthy and the halls are dark with a definite odor. I was very happy that the room was in better condition. Our TV remote was missing but the lady at the front desk was very helpful. She found a bunch of extra remotes and came up to our room. Luckily the 1st one worked so we were good. I think the Wyndham has been buying up these older hotels but they would get a lot more repeat business if they would update the entire property. We will not stay here again. Maybe if it was completely redone we would try it again.

We selected this hotel because of the pictures on their website and the amenities listed listed, like the continental breakfast. The is obviously an old, very beat up hotel that someone plans to renovate at some point but it has no business booking guests in the condition it's in now. We are very disappointed in Wyndham. The hotel was nothing like the pictures. The whole property, hallways, and rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The restaurant was not open nor was the bar. There was no continental breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. There were no phones in either of the two rooms we were put in. The first room had two lights not working and the bathroom door had been kicked in. The second room they put us in had the following: The light over the vanity in the bathroom did not work nor did the vent fan. One of the electric plugs beside the bed did not work, the TV remote was not working right and on the second day we were locked out of our room because the key card didn't work. The shower had no inner shower curtain just the cloth one and there was no safety tread in the bottom of the tub. The bathroom door would not shut, there was only one small wastebasket in the room, and there was no hand soap in the room. Finally there was no housekeeping, no one cleaned our room.

I do not normally leave negative reviews, this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I waited for twenty minutes to be able to check in, not because they were busy, but because there was no one to be found. If i hadn't had a reservation and paid for the stay, I would have left. she appeared to be very high when she did show up. the hallway floors were disgusting, had not been vacuumed in a long time. the room was dirty, so much dirt, dust and debris behind the TV, the mirror was so milky and dirty, she sheets felt like outdoor furniture material. I had hiked 10 miles that day and wanted to soak, there was no drain plug. I called and requested one, she stated she would bring one, 30 min. passed, still nothing. I went downstairs, she told me she could not find one. we laid down for bed, and the tv did not work. from the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, it was a total negative experience.

To start, we booked a king room but when we got there it was a room with two double beds. I went down to the lobby, to check in this and the lady there told me the king rooms were being painted and they had none. So I said whatever, even though you can call send an email anything to let someone know things like this prior to them paying for said room. So, we decide we are going to get something to eat, and we go to leave and realize our door does not lock. So I send my girlfriend to talk to the front desk lady because I am not trying to be rude towards her at this point, and we got down there and she is on her phone just talking away. Once we tell her hey the door isn’t locked up there she says I’ll just move you, so we go to the new room. The refrigerator in there (mind you there wasn’t one in the other room at all) isn’t plugged in and I am traveling with a year old who drinks milk, so we have to move the fridge to an outlet because the one it’s near is burnt out. The fridge kicks on and guess what? It starts leaking. The place smelled like marijuana, the safety isn’t there, and on top of everything the pool states on the website and on the doors to the pool that the pool is closed, but there were people swimming in the pool. This was one of my worst hotel stays for sure, a waist of my money, not kid friendly whatsoever, but hardly people friendly. A dude had a luggage carrier and a cigarette in his mouth and his dog on the other hand and walked right into the lobby.

The continental breakfast, it is open Six to nine am, we went down about 8:15, the food had all been taken away. Along with other guest, we tried to find someone to help us. The checkout desk was empty, three other people were waiting as well. I went around calling , no answer, we all just tossed our room keys on the counter and left. It is checkout time, someone should have been there. Four parties left with us. I will never check in there again.

There is not breakfast at the hotel. They are under renovations. I understand that makes it hard. But they have a coffee pot sitting in the lobby that never has hot coffee in it. If you’re not going to serve breakfast as advertised than you need to at least have hot coffee.

It was not to bad but all the pop machines and ice machines were not working. The third floor has a musty smell plus some cigarettes or some kind of smoke smell in the hallway. I understand that some of it is under new management and understand it is under renovation. It was nice that there was a restaurant right there. Not sure if I would stay there again but I might once it is all done. The pool area needed towels, my kids enjoyed the pool and it's nice that you have a laundry room. It said there was a continual breakfast but there was hardly anything there.

It apparently used to be a Quality Inn. None of the signs have been changed so it was hard to find. When I walked in the sliding doors were broken and had to be pried open. There was a cat walking all over the front desk which smelled like a litter box. The woman behind the counter was dirty and unkept. She told me that the room had been double booked and she had canceled my room without any notice to me. I then looked at my bank statement and contacted Expedia and it had not been canceled. I had been charged. I filed a formal complaint with Expedia and hope to get my money back.
It apparently used to be a Quality Inn. None of the signs have been changed so it was hard to find. When I walked in the sliding doors were broken and had to be pried open. I can’t even believe Expedia has the nerve to still be recommending this property. We actually left and didn’t even stay through the night because of how unfit for human life their rooms are. A few highlights. Seating covered in dog hair, cushions in couch covered in some form of maybe vomit or dried bodily fluids hard to tell. When I asked the front desk staff to turn the lights on in their pool area she was smoking at the front desk. Dog hair and something black under the supposedly clean made up sheets. The door to the room across to us seemed to have been kicked in with beer bottles and stuff laying around. I took about ten pictures of things within this room splattered on the wall that made me question if it’s ever been cleaned. Would never use Expedia again after their refusal to refund any portion of our money.
