This is a beautiful house, plenty of room, well stocked, tasteful decor, comfy beds and an absolutely perfect beach location. That being said-this house could really use some love. Freezer didn\'t work upstairs, ice maker broke downstairs, ceiling fans not working, plaster from the ceiling falling on floor in bathroom, light bulbs needing replaced, garbage cans overflowing when we got there, none of the rooms were really clean, roaches on the kitchen counters, a possum running around on the property (we named him Alfred) and a horrible smell of a dead animal in the bushes making it difficult to stay around the cabana and firepit area. Despite these inconveniences-it didn\'t stop us from having a wonderful family vacation. Unfortunately, I left a very expensive, very sentimental piece of jewelry on the property. I contacted them immediately and told them exactly where it was, requested they put it in a safe place and ship it back to me at their earliest convenience. It\'s been over a week and it hasn\'t been found. I\'ve contacted them every day practically begging them to please make every effort to find it. I\'ve even offered a reward. But to no avail. They\'ve responded back every day with the same message that they\'re looking but doubtful it will be recovered at this point. It was there-it didn\'t just disappear into thin air or walk away. Someone "found" it. It\'s my own fault for leaving it but it\'s beyond heartbreaking and inconceivable that it won\'t make it\'s way back to me.
