What a fantastic resort stay. Great location, right across from the beach. If you don't like sand in your toes, you can lie on a lounger and view the ocean from the pool area while having food and drink service. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food and drinks at Pipers and the ShelterClub pool bar were excellent. We will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed the convenience of being able text front desk services. For any questions, or concerns. I got a fast response back. The beach guest services on the beach was great. Towels, chairs, umbrellas all convenient. RESORT IS DOG FRIENDLY !! THATS WAS THE BEST

The property was beautiful. Excellent location.. The parking was valet parking only Which added $94 charge per day And yet the valet service was extremely slow And very inconvenient. They only had two elevators to service the entire hotel which caused heavy congestion And long waits for the elevator. We asked to use the stairs and we were told they were not available. The third day we were there one of the elevators broke down.The hotel, then allowed us to use the stairs going up to the sixth floor. Extremely inconvenient. The pool was overly crowded. We were never able to find a spot to sit at by the pool. The Jacuzzi was over filled with small children We were there for four days. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. This property offered more than they could produce, it was definitely overpriced And very congested. The gym was very nice.

Did the online check in, & still took a long time to get a key to the room. There was hair in the tub, & the water did not drain from the tub. The door to the bathroom witch is very heavy. Came of track & fell. Could of badly hurt someone.

The pool was very dirty. No one cleaned the pool for the two days we stayed. The service and food were inconsistent. They also had very few staff working. Placing an order at the pool, could take 20 to 30 minutes. The staff were very friendly and the manger was great.

Overall the property is very nice. The staff is not overly friendly and housekeeper poor! Our room was never cleaned until 5 o'clock in the afternoon and our coffee and creamer were never refilled! For the price of the hotel I would have expected more!

I stayed at the hotel for four days and I had very restful nights, comfortable beds and pretty quiet for been a family resort. My room was clean except for a little dust by the bed and in the bar. I loved the location, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Great service,

We stayed at the Seabird for 4 nights. Things we liked: the staff are super friendly, the beautiful pool area, proximity to the beach, shopping and restaurants, free beach chairs and umbrellas down at the beach were a plus! Things we didn't like: $44 a day for parking, $48 a day resort fee, and the constant slamming of neighboring doors. You would think a resort of this caliber could come up with a better mechanism to self close doors without slamming. So be warned, you won't sleep past 7 am. In addition, upon check-in we were asked if we wanted daily housekeeping service. We stated yes but no one ever cleaned our room. We had to call for towels and coffee, plus the dirty towels and garbage piled up, not what I expected from a Hyatt property. Overall it's a nice resort, but they can do better considering the price tag.

I was unimpressed with this particular property. There was a discrepancy of either blood or rust on a door handle when going into the bathroom. I took a video and I had the hotel manager come and take a look of what I was experiencing in my hotel room. The hotel manager stated that it looked like possible rust to her, but to me it look like dried blood that had been there for a while, and not being cleaned or not realizing that this blood was on this doorhandle to the bathroom. Either way when paying more than $500 a night you would expect this particular property to be in top cleaning shape. Not only was there crucified blood on this door handle. There was also long black strands of hair in the bathroom that wasn’t from my husband or I, this was the property that I had ever been to. I will never ever return to this property.

Had a great stay at the hotel, the hotel itself is gorgeous, the decorating was so fun to look at. The entire staff from the valet, to the receptionist, waiters, bell boys were all very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, my only complaint was the fridge was warm so we could not keep our drinks or dessert in their :( The Shore Club was a nice treat with pool table, games and a fireplace, definitely a place to relax. The pool was nice and heated with an ocean view. The Piper restaurant was good, missing a bit of flavor or salt on some of the food but overall a good experience. The property is close to the Amtrack train rails so you will here the train horns plus it gets pretty busy out so traffic and people could be heard all day and night. The balcony doors are pretty soundproof so just shut your door when you want some quiet time. With being so close to the beach, literally across the street, we had a great weekend getaway !!

Honestly, everything stood out. From the super friendly and attentive staff to the amazing attention to detail in every space of the hotel, to the most comfortable, well-appointed room I’ve stayed in in recent memory. The whole hotel is a dream! I can’t wait to come back when I’m not on a work trip so I can enjoy the spa and pool too.

As you can tell, this isn’t exactly a cheap property to stay at. But as the old saying typically goes, “you get what you pay for” we were excited to treat ourselves to a nice weekend. We paid for an Ocean view room and to our surprise, ended up with an obstructed ocean view right smack dap behind a tree on the 2nd floor.. We didn’t make a big deal of it because we knew we were going to be out and about, and at the beach. But if we were staying longer I would have brought it up, because we didn’t get what we paid for. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and a toddler. The bed had what I assume is a waterproof cover over it and so with every move it made and awful, loud crinkling sound. Needless to say we didn’t get much rest because of this. Cons: it was extremely crowded in all areas, pool, elevator wait time, valet, restaurant. etc.. Pros: It’s a clean hotel, beautifully decorated and conveniently located to the beach and in walkable distance to shops and other restaurants.

I stayed at Seabird Resort & Spa in Oceanside, CA and absolutely loved it! The resort and room are beautiful, modern, and comfortable. As a solo traveler, I found it very enjoyable and relaxing. The location is perfect—walkable to great restaurants, bars, and of course the beach. Even though the resort was filled with families, it never felt loud or overwhelming, and I was able to fully enjoy a calm and comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the balcony with its gorgeous view of the ocean—such a perfect spot to unwind. I would definitely recommend this resort for both solo travelers and families looking for a comfortable and ocean front beach getaway.

Room not ready at check in time. Very slow service in Pipers at lunch. We had a grand suite and there was no microwave even though we had a huge patio with tons of furniture so we thought that was odd. Otherwise perfect.

Eli was our host that checked us in he seemed to be new wasn’t very informative . He didn’t ask if we needed help with our bags or if we found parking OK didn’t offer valet service . We’ve stayed here before, and we were offered champagne after check-in which is something that me and my wife enjoy. We had to ask if it was still available. When we stayed in the past, it felt really personal. They asked us if we were celebrating anything or if we were there for a special occasion. Unfortunate this time there was no conversation. The process felt rushed. Which I would understand if there was a line. I hope this feedback helps. We would like to continue to use the property on short getaways .

This place was AMAZING! Staff was incredible- every single person we interacted with was kind, helpful and friendly. Great location. Super clean. The whole vibe of the hotel was just wonderful.

I really enjoyed the convenience of being able text front desk services. For any questions, or concerns. I got a fast response back. The beach guest services on the beach was great. Towels, chairs, umbrellas all convenient. RESORT IS DOG FRIENDLY !! THATS WAS THE BEST

Room not ready at check in time. Very slow service in Pipers at lunch. We had a grand suite and there was no microwave even though we had a huge patio with tons of furniture so we thought that was odd. Otherwise perfect.

Loved this hotel!! The gym was dreamy. Across from the beach. Such good access. We have little kids and we did end up seeing a lot of fights and yelling among homeless people who hung out across the street one which escalated into the cops coming. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel for kids with playgrounds and beaches right there.

Had a great stay at the hotel, the hotel itself is gorgeous, the decorating was so fun to look at. The entire staff from the valet, to the receptionist, waiters, bell boys were all very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, my only complaint was the fridge was warm so we could not keep our drinks or dessert in their :( The Shore Club was a nice treat with pool table, games and a fireplace, definitely a place to relax. The pool was nice and heated with an ocean view. The Piper restaurant was good, missing a bit of flavor or salt on some of the food but overall a good experience. The property is close to the Amtrack train rails so you will here the train horns plus it gets pretty busy out so traffic and people could be heard all day and night. The balcony doors are pretty soundproof so just shut your door when you want some quiet time. With being so close to the beach, literally across the street, we had a great weekend getaway !!

We booked for 3 nights on a trip to Legoland. We loved the vibe at the Oceanside resort, so many restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself was wonderful. Modern stylish interiors and a great pool. Just across the road from a lovely beach and pier. We have a great time!

Great location, just a short walk down to the beach. The Seabird staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Only had food in the resort once, but what we had was excellent. Only complaint was having to eat a pizza we bought from a local restaurant in our room because the only option we were offered for eating outside food was some couches in the lobby.

A nice 4 star property on the ocean. A couple of bars and a restaurant too. Valet was very efficient and fast. Some room service errors but they corrected them on the spot. Delays on getting someone on the phone though for room service, etc. I’d stay again though.

What a fantastic resort stay. Great location, right across from the beach. If you don't like sand in your toes, you can lie on a lounger and view the ocean from the pool area while having food and drink service. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food and drinks at Pipers and the ShelterClub pool bar were excellent. We will definitely visit again.

The rooms were big, comfortable, and upscale. Service was top notch. Great location with beach and pier across the street. I think they could have had a better menu at their restaurants and cafes. The food did not live up to the high ratings they gave it.

The Seabird was a great stay! Very clean, comfy beds, cool amenities, and it smells AMAZING! The Apothi products were amazing. We ordered room service and it was pretty pricey for the quality..I can’t say I enjoyed the food much. We had some connectivity issues with the TV, but the engineer came up to the room to troubleshoot and the staff was incredible. Every staff member we encountered had incredible customer service and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again! The view was incredible and it’s very walkable. Valet is worth the additional fee, but there are nearby paid lots that you can park at. If you’re staying here, I highly recommend eating at Tin Fish by the beach and shopping at Ozone!

The hotel is beautiful, welcoming staff, lovely room. The only disappointment was that breakfast was not included in the price. When we went down to the restaurant in the morning to order breakfast, we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait, despite there being empty tables. In such a lovely place, we were very surprised that they couldn't manage a basic breakfast service. We had to wander around the streets looking for something to eat. Not really how we wanted to start out day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seabird Hotel and would definitely come back. The hotel is incredibly kid-friendly, making it a great choice for families. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff was welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options for both adults and kids. One of the biggest highlights is the location—it’s just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance of the train station, as well as many great restaurants and shops. We barely needed to use our car during our stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family friendly hotel in Oceanside with an unbeatable location, the Seabird is a fantastic choice. We will definitely be back next summer!
