We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. We enjoyed the game room the 1st night but the pool table and shooting game didn't work the 2nd & 3rd night we were there. The condition of the hotel was a bit rundown. Some signage still said Holiday Inn. Each time we went to the pool we had to go out to the front desk to reset the keycard to get in. We found a pair of underwear on the floor from a previous patron. Overall, we felt we overpaid for what we got. Good location though.

The pool was shut , the 1st room smelled like mold and was missing the coffee machine. They moved us to a different room. It was better but still disappointing about the pool. We were never warned it was closed.

We stayed on the 4th floor. A ceiling tile fell and was scattered on the floor of the hallway all morning. The hot tub was pretty dirty. Breakfast staff very pleasant and attentive, but options pretty limited.

The Hotel in general just needs to be modernized a bit but the room were clean. Maybe new carpets and the gym needs air conditioning!!! It felt like a sauna. Also, for the pool there should be an adult swim from 7am to 8am. There were too many kids in the pool all day and I did not get a chance to go in once.

I have stayed here before and I was ok with my stays well I was NOT happy with my stay this time around! I went for my daughter's birthday for the pool and hot tub, we get there on a Friday afternoon, they tell us the pool is closed for filling up and will be open by Sat morning, the guy that works with the pool even ASSURED us it was going to be open Sat morning. We wake up and we were going to spend the day at the pool, well they tell us someone shut the heat off to the pool so won't be open until Sunday! I was 2 VERY VERY disappointed girls. Things like that should be done during the week NOT the weekend! We checked on Sat and found a hotel with a working pool.

Paper thin walls. I could hear the people in the other room as though they were in mine and I could hear the person peeing in the room above. Overall cleanliness and condition of the building is quite poor. Sadly won’t be making any reservations there in the future.

The elevator had bodily fluids on the walls and hadn't been cleaned for an extended period of time. The pool and hot tub area were foamy to hide???? The bathroom in the room was so small you couldn't get out of the shower without banging into the toilet. There was no circulation fan in the bathroom. The condition of the elevator made me question the cleanliness of the property.

i was very disapointed in my stay here , very dirty , found a used condom on the side of the bed , finger prints on mirior , carpet was very dirty . would i go there again , no , was not worth the 185$ canadian that i payed , the hot tub in the room was very dirty , and there was blood marks on the sheets in the bed , pictures did not corrspond with the room , ( very dirty ) i would love a refund honestly. the only thing that was very good at the hotel was the breakfast .

Desk chair had stains as did the reading chair. The bottom drawer of the dresser wouldn't close and the paint on the back of the door in the bathroom was blistered and the door had water damage. Carpet felt dirty on bare feet. We were supposed to be in a deluxe room, but it definitley didn't feel that way.

In the photos, you will see what appears to be black mold, which is a health risk. There was also damage inside the room due to moisture with cracking and bubbling of wallpaper. Two of the hostess were friendly, and there was one who seen put out because my card needed to becharged for my room to enter it. I don’t normally do reviews, however having been on the road staying in hotels for the last three years this was surprising.

The hotel is Old and not well taken care of. In the corridors and even the bedroom, the air being pushed out of the air conditionner had a smell of mold and humidity. One of the nights, it smelled of weed. The cleanliness of the room was ok, but there were sains on the chairs and matresses. The lobby smelled quite bad as well at nights. The pool area was awful. There were hair and kleenexes all over the floor and inside the pool. We only went in the spa, and coming out of it our bathing suits and skin smelled of humidity and Old wet towels which is clearly not normal. Our room telephone randomly rang and hung up during the hours of 1-2 am. When I mentioned it to the front desk they just said, “oh that’s too bad”. The building is dated, rusty, moldy and the pool was filthy. The elevator was making cranking noises and the luggage carts are old and hardly roll. The place has furniture from 1970 and staff that seem sleepy.

The room looked as though it wasnt cleaned at all, other than the blankets being laundered (which is the only reason I did not leave this hotel). There were visible stains on the headboards that could have been easily cleaned off is someone had just tried to clean and not ignore them, every piece of furniture in the room had stains on it, the box springs are stained and have tears in them, and to top it off...not one there hand sanitizer stations had any sanitizer in them! Very dirty place and in need of many repairs. With a little money spent by the company that owns this hotel, a lot of the issues coukd be resolved, and make this a nice hotel again. That all said, the staff working the desk was very pleasant. That's the only positive of this hotel.

The hotel is going down big time.. i usually stay here everytime i go to plattsburgh but now its got real dirty ! The floors never washed and the carpet on second floor is completly nasty ! And smells. It time to invest money into the place before it closes down.

When we arrived for check in the room was not ready, and took 1hr 15 minutes before it was finally ready. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the rooms were not noise proof, and from the hallway you could literally hear other guest and then conversations 😮. The pool and game room were clean and enjoyable, but nothing special. The breakfast was underwhelming, it mainly consisted of bread products ( bread, muffin, bagel, etc) it was very limited with just bacon and sausage and there were no egg options, due to our family's dietary restrictions of beef and pork, we were forced to purchase breakfast at a nearby restaurant. However, the staff was very apologetic for this.

I enjoyed the Location of This hotel But it needed some Love And renovation. The mattress was old and caving in in the middle. In the elevator I saw a plastic floss for the teeth on the floor of the elevator, stains on the doors and walls in the room. Breakfast was ok. All I can say is if needs a revamp for the price I payed for a one night stay

The fact our room was right next to the elevator and window faced onto the highway there was no quiet time. Windows are obviously not sound proof and the elevator is old and therefore extremely loud. No clue why but there was also an industrial fan going outside of our room the entire time we were there.

We had a king room and it was very spacious. The bathroom was small but clean, towels were softer than expected. They are obviously short staffed because the breakfast buffet was late but the employee setting it up was very friendly and apologetic. If you are comparing this hotel to the Quality inn down the road. This one is much better and we would stay here again.

It's OK for a short stay. There were a few issues i wasn't happy with. 1. Rooms & hallways dimly lit, property hasnt been updated in years. 2. Rooms on West side of building subject to highway noise (you're about 500 ft from the Northway). Even with the AC on, its still noisy from passing vehicles. 3. Room had a musty smell. 4. No facial tissues, dirty towel found hanging on bathroom door.

shoed up to check in only to find out that they had CANCELLED our reservation due to OVERBOOKING??? Apparently we were not the only one. No hotels left in the whole town because it was parents weekend at my daughters college. sat in the lobby for over an hour trying to chat with expedia over the app. Left to go back to her dorm room and staff called that they FOUND a room for us. The hotel was great, the experience was AWFUL!!! How can that happen when you book 3mo in advance and pay for it and have a conf# ??? makes absolutely no sense!!

The staff was helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything else is old and not cared for. The 4th floor was closed because the roof leaked. There were buckets to catch leaks on the 3rd floor where we stayed. The wallpaper is peeling off in the hallways. The carpet had stains on it. The room smelled musty. The bathroom was small. The water pressure was good. Sink was new. The furniture was old. The ice machine didn’t work. The AC worked very well. The breakfast was good. The breakfast offerings were well stocked because the receptionist made sure to check the supplies often. She was very nice. I forgot to leave her a tip, sorry to say. Oh - one thing that really annoyed me was cleaning the room if you stay more than one night. They won’t do it unless you ask the night before. But I didn’t know you had to make that request the night before. The hotel didn’t inform us that we needed to request our room be cleaned. The hotel did give us new towels for the next day once we made that request.

I thought the staff was rude. The only person at the desk that had manners and knew how to deal with the public was Allison who checked us out this morning. The room was only cleaned 1 time, no clean towels or bed made and no refill on coffee for the machine in the room. I got told when I asked for the room to be cleaned that it was not done because I had to request it ahead due to shortage of staff. So, I requested it, and it still didn't get done. If that is your policy, you need to make people aware before they complete a reservation. I feel like I did not get my money's worth and should have a partial refund. I would appreciate it if someone would contact me regarding this matter.

Great hotel. Very short staffed. Breakfast closed at 9. They turned off the lights on guests. Towels for the pool were at desk. No one was at desk for 30 minutes. Staff was friendly but there were not enough of them.

When I arrived during the night. It seemed like I was walking into a Nightclub. Loud music was playing and alot of people going in and out. I asked the clerk what was going on and she just blew off my question. When I arrived on my floor there was a bile of trash by the elevator which stunk so much. The next morning the trash was still there with even more added to it. What makes it worse was when I arrive back to the hotel the second night. The trash was still there and wasn't picked up. So gross. The room wasn’t bad but then when you look at the dress and nightstand there was so much dust. The carpet on the floor was even dusty. Will not be stay there again.

The coffee maker in the bedroom was very duty. There was a free breakfast included, when we came to the cafeteria it's was a closed. When asked at the front desk, they told us the chef didn't show up. No credit was given for that.

When we arrived for check in the room was not ready, and took 1hr 15 minutes before it was finally ready. The room itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, the rooms were not noise proof, and from the hallway you could literally hear other guest and then conversations 😮. The pool and game room were clean and enjoyable, but nothing special. The breakfast was underwhelming, it mainly consisted of bread products ( bread, muffin, bagel, etc) it was very limited with just bacon and sausage and there were no egg options, due to our family's dietary restrictions of beef and pork, we were forced to purchase breakfast at a nearby restaurant. However, the staff was very apologetic for this.

single nite stay and we had not made plans for extra time for offsite breakfast, on check out we found no breakfast available as entire on site hotel staff consisted of one single very overworked young Lady. We felt quite bad for her having to deal with an entire hotel full of people single handedly. Condition of hotel made sense on finding out how understaffed they were.

Staff is friendly however very understaffed. The facility is in major need of an update. Paint peeling and cracks. Carpets are worn and stained. Breakfast was awful cold eggs and microwaved sausage. The front desk person was overwhelmed with guests complaining. I would definitely not stay here again.

We've stayed here multiple times and have always had a nice stay. The only disappointment this time was breakfast. They have been consistently offering less and less varieties and choices. It's ok if you only like scrabbled eggs. Otherwise, go out to eat

This hotel is pretty good. Clean and with nice amenities like a pool, game room and a nice lobby area. However, the smell was not so good. Breakfast was ok on the first morning which was a Sunday morning, although they ran out of milk, and had to send someone to buy at the store!?! Which was ridiculous. Second morning, which was a Monday, there was nothing to eat!! Bagels were moldy, no milk or yogurt, no eggs- really disgusting and disappointing!! The girls in charge of the “kitchen” looked like they are lost, nothing to offer to the guests, and when we asked, they just said we ‘ran out’. At the checkout, the girls at the reception desk could not calculate our final amount for payment, it was too ‘complicated’ for them!

Common areas unclean. Rooms badly in need of renovation. A lot of drywall cracks, degrading caulking. Breakfast was awful. Reconstituted eggs, watered-down juice, the first bagel I selected was moldy! Why no waffle makers? Need a proper commercial conveyor-type toaster. Staff was very polite. Morning manager had to also tend to the breakfast area……what gives? Disappointed overall.

In a year this place has really gone downhill. So much so that I canceled a future stay that I had booked. We got there at 10 to 5. It took a few minutes for someone to get to the desk. Our room was not ready and it was almost 2 hours after the 3 PM check-in. So we got another room 2beds not 1and she said if it’s not clean come back and we’ll work something out.????? I could tell when we opened the door. It was gone through quickly.. hair all over the bathroom floor and urine that I had to wipe up. Dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door. The person at the desk informed me that the owners had fired everybody but two people so nothing was done and she was made to look like an idiot.She used anotherword When we went for breakfast There were two people with backpacks that just came in on a little bicycle. They made themselves food finished it quickly, grabbed more to go, and then they went into the office so apparently they worked there because when we checked out, they were behind the desk. The host in the breakfast room was screaming at Trump on the television. She also made herself a big bowl of sausage gravy and biscuits and was eating, and when I walked by, she was vaping and on her phone. The smoke hit me in the face. There was a man outside that was watering the flowers and he also was sitting down to breakfast! The garbages were packed in the hallways. Just a horrendous experience and the place should be leveled! The owners should be mortified! 5 hour trip for this…ugh!

Chairs in room were stained. No shampoo. Tissue box broke off the wall and metal cover fell on my foot .Pool out of service . Had to wait for check-in. Had an arcade which was a plus.

Les aires communes et la chambre sont propres. Il y avait une odeur agréable dans notre chambre. La salle de bain a besoin de rénovation, de même que l’état général de l’hôtel. Les fenêtres ont besoin d’être lavées. La piscine et bain tourbillon sont très appréciés. Le déjeuner était bon et il y avait beaucoup de choix. La dame a l’accueil, lors de l’arrivée était très aimable, celle du départ le lendemain matin, il y manquait un sourire et de la chaleur humaine.
