Carowinds Camp Wilderness

This is a very convenient nice cabin to Carowinds. We enjoyed having a TV in each bedroom and the living room. The kitchen provided for basic cooking, but we didn’t cook. The refrigerator did not have ice trays, which would have been nice.

Terrible furniture. Uncomfortable beds. Water damaged bathroom floor. Toilet issues. Nice coffee machine though.

Great experience from start to finish. Very clean, larger than we expected, and just overall a much nicer experience than we imagined. Shuttle to the park was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. Some really good restaurants nearby and a relatively short drive to multiple shopping centers. We had a great time, would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near Carowinds!

Cute cabins

The room was clean but there was no shower curtain in the bathroom and we didn’t realize it until that evening and by that time the main office was closed. I didn’t like how there was no way to contact anyone after hours. Not sure if it’s just because it’s off season or if that is how it is all the time. Made me feel a little uneasy as there was no gate in and out so anyone could just ride back to the campground area. There was a number for security but I had no idea where they were in case something had happened. All in all feel like this may be more of a summer spot to stay.
