The warmest welcome and absolutely lovely, dedicated staff. Our suite was beautifully appointed, bed and chairs so comfortable, and absolutely everything we needed. Loved sitting out reading by the pool. Located next to the main square which has some free parking, and convenient for all attractions, including the fantastic Badia restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel more than adequate. Dinner here (the Doli restaurant) is a delightful experience, and the staff really know their wine as well as their delicious Georgian cuisine. Oh, and they had a very friendly cat there too!

Loved the Communal Hotel in Telavi. It's charming and beautifully designed. We stayed in room no 6 which had balcony access, which made for a lovely few hours of reading. It's right across from Kera, a ceramic shop and 3 minutes walk away from Odlisi (a must-try cheese bar). Its restaurant, Doli, is fantastic and the breakfast was also amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer.
