We enjoyed the view of the mountains from high on the hill. The room was slightly dated, and the a/c seemed to have a bit of trouble pulling temps down, but it was satisfactory (note: it was a hot day with temps in the upper 80s). The king bed was adequate, but in my opinion, a bit uncomfortable (note: I am used to a very firm mattress). We enjoyed the rocking chairs sitting outside our sliding glass doors, and they offered an excellent place to view the mountains. If you are looking for a basic and inexpensive place to stay, then you can't go wrong with this Days Inn. We would stay again.

The room we had was with a king sized bed, couch sitting table with plenty of room. The room was ground level with a sliding glass doo with two rocking chairs just outside for sitting and relaxing in the morning air. One one the nicest cleanest rooms we have been able to stay in years.

Great location. Could use some updates on the wood railings on the balconies as the top rail was extremely bowed. The rocking chais are great tho with beautiful mountain view and beds are very comfortable.

Nice location in Waynesville. Very accessible from major road. Room was confy, but not spectacular. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, coffee, some cereal, a waffle machine, and "fresh" fruit consisting of bruised apples and brown oranges. Pool was open only if you asked. Okay place, but truly nothing special.

The property was clean..My complaint was the elevator did not have proper lighting. Several small led pop lights outs. I would not have gotten on with strangers due to very dark.

The staff was very courteous & helpful. The facility was fine, nothing special. The rooms were on the smallish side, cramped for 2 full beds but if all you're doing is sleeping there, you could have 4 adults. The carpet in the room in which I stayed could do with a steam clean.

The room was in terrible condition. There was a musty smell. The floor was not cleaned. We were offered another room in the top floor but chose to leave the property based on the condition and the office receptionist said it would most likely not be any better. She said the kind of place we would be happy in we would not find there. The pictures on the website did not match the room in which we stayed nor was the property as expected. Awaiting confirmation of a refund once property confirms with you. I have already submitted a claim with you as of yesterday.

Room smelled like stale smoke. Past customers had smoked on the balcony and must have left the sliding glass door open into the room, plus the cigarette butts were left on the railing. Coffee from the office was good. But breakfast was nothing that either of us would even consider delving into. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Carpet was sock wearing worthy. View was great. Price was great. This is an older hotel. Each room has a balcony facing the mountains which was nice.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was advertised as non smoking. The couch was dirty with stains and smelled. The breakfast coffee was cold. Milk and juice were on the counter at room temperature. The washcloths were stained and looked dirty so we couldn’t use them. The bed was clean and comfortable at least. After this experience we will not stay at a Days Inn again.

I found the room to be noisy and bright. Ground floor with a sliding door access to the parking lot. The light from outside was too bright, I like a dark sleeping environment. And breakfast had no proteins, just carbs and sweets. The coffee was terrible. I went to Bojangles for breakfast.

It was adequate for my purposes. Remote control seemed to be missing, but I wasn't planning to watch much tv anyway. Shower worked, but the water temperature didn't have much of a middle ground. Turn it to the right, it was very hot. Turn it to the left and it was cold, middle was off. Location was nice enough, though I didn't notice anything in walking distance, but a Lowe's hardware. Chairs in the room were stained. The bed seemed fine, just too soft for my liking. The room had a balcony with rocking chairs. Staff were friendly enough. Didn't hear anyone else, so the room was quiet enough to get a good restful sleep.

The mattress springs were quite uncomfortable. While the balcony is very nice you can not turn off the light and it makes the room very bright at night. There were no staff in the breakfast area and the coffee was cold. Even a continental breakfast should off a bit more than what was available. There was no juice or any type of cereal or protein. Not even peanut butter was available.

My TV had to be reset the first night,it wasn't working properly. I woke up the next morning and there was no 'basket' to make coffee. The next night the TV had to be reset and the next night. After the first 3 days I just reset it myself. I was there for 6 nights. The day before I checked out, I asked about an adjustment on my bill,because of the TV. I was told no because I could have moved rooms. I was never offered to change rooms, even the third night when they had to reset it.

My spouse was going to have surgery nearby early in the morning. We went through Expedia to get the room. Paid the Expedia amount. We used our points. Days Inn charged us their price and 50.00 more in top of that. Had to talk to Expediaa and Days Inn is supposed to refund what they charged. Room was clean. Breakfast barely had anything at 7am.aside from oatmeal, cereal, baby waffles, a few slices of bread, maybe three little muffins. I was looking for orange juice. Bagels.

In 27 years of doing concerts and booking hotes, I have never had such a horrible horrible experiance. We had to move all our guests we could to another hotel on the day of the event. That woman running the hotel was charging our guests double for he rooms we had booked back in February and you had our card. What an absolute Nightmare. That woman was insane and screamed and yelled at an 80 year old war veteran. She should be fired right away. We want everydime of our money back that was charged to our card. Hotels.com did nothing to help us. I will never use it again and certainly never that hotel. They have ruined your name there.

We arrived at 11:00 PM and had to check in through an outside window. It made me feel insecure. And skeptical of safety. The room had a musty smell, but it was clean. The breakfast was below average with very limited choices and very limited healthy options.

The front desk was extremely incompetent. We stayed over one night and the hotel canceled the remaining reservation after it was already paid for. They overbooked the hotel and could not find our paid reservation. We were totally inconvenienced and forced to find another hotel at the last minute. The operator didn't pick up the phone at the hotel after several calls.

Expedia charged me and the hotel would not accept it and they charged me. So I’m out double for this dated property. Breakfast was a joke. A little update and some decent breakfast would go along way.

We enjoyed the view of the mountains from high on the hill. The room was slightly dated, and the a/c seemed to have a bit of trouble pulling temps down, but it was satisfactory (note: it was a hot day with temps in the upper 80s). The king bed was adequate, but in my opinion, a bit uncomfortable (note: I am used to a very firm mattress). We enjoyed the rocking chairs sitting outside our sliding glass doors, and they offered an excellent place to view the mountains. If you are looking for a basic and inexpensive place to stay, then you can't go wrong with this Days Inn. We would stay again.

Nice location in Waynesville. Very accessible from major road. Room was confy, but not spectacular. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, coffee, some cereal, a waffle machine, and "fresh" fruit consisting of bruised apples and brown oranges. Pool was open only if you asked. Okay place, but truly nothing special.

We liked the setting on a steep hillside right off the highway and the main entrance to Waynesville. The motel needs some updating for users of electronic devices. The bed was comfortable, table and chairs handy and the balcony lovely -just was too chilly to enjoy in December. Breakfast was continental and basic.

I found the room to be noisy and bright. Ground floor with a sliding door access to the parking lot. The light from outside was too bright, I like a dark sleeping environment. And breakfast had no proteins, just carbs and sweets. The coffee was terrible. I went to Bojangles for breakfast.

The mattress springs were quite uncomfortable. While the balcony is very nice you can not turn off the light and it makes the room very bright at night. There were no staff in the breakfast area and the coffee was cold. Even a continental breakfast should off a bit more than what was available. There was no juice or any type of cereal or protein. Not even peanut butter was available.

My spouse was going to have surgery nearby early in the morning. We went through Expedia to get the room. Paid the Expedia amount. We used our points. Days Inn charged us their price and 50.00 more in top of that. Had to talk to Expediaa and Days Inn is supposed to refund what they charged. Room was clean. Breakfast barely had anything at 7am.aside from oatmeal, cereal, baby waffles, a few slices of bread, maybe three little muffins. I was looking for orange juice. Bagels.

We arrived at 11:00 PM and had to check in through an outside window. It made me feel insecure. And skeptical of safety. The room had a musty smell, but it was clean. The breakfast was below average with very limited choices and very limited healthy options.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was advertised as non smoking. The couch was dirty with stains and smelled. The breakfast coffee was cold. Milk and juice were on the counter at room temperature. The washcloths were stained and looked dirty so we couldn’t use them. The bed was clean and comfortable at least. After this experience we will not stay at a Days Inn again.

Expedia charged me and the hotel would not accept it and they charged me. So I’m out double for this dated property. Breakfast was a joke. A little update and some decent breakfast would go along way.

The bathroom and sink appeared to be clean, but all the furniture, fridge and microwave was covered with dust, fingerprints and not clean. The filter in the air conditioning unit looked as though it had never been changed. There was a clump of dried rice stuck to the arm of the chair and the chair was dirty. The corner round table rocked from side to side making it very difficult to use. The mattress cover had stains that appeared to be dried urine. I had a 6-day reservation and I slept in the room only one night because I awakened in the morning to PAINFUL, ITCHY BED BUG BITES on my face, my left hand and right forearm. When I got up and turned on the lights there was one CRAWLING ON THE SHEET WHERE I SLEPT. The hotel staff was kind and understanding. I had no interest in eating at a hotel that has bed bugs. Parking was adequate. I immediately demanded a refund, checked out of the hotel and went to an URGENT CARE FOR TREATMENT when it opened. It was a horrible experience having to pack up, load everything back into the car, (on vacation), and find another hotel and go see a doctor for medicine.

Room was clean, front desk woman was friendly and helpful, breakfast was meh. Place is so old and tired I really regret paying what I paid for two rooms. A partial or whole refund would be appreciated. If I had seen the place before I booked I would not have booked. Ugh.
