This apartment is in a great location. We could see the blue of the ocean on Long Beach while sitting on our patio, Long Beach and Good Harbor are an easy walk, there's an ice cream and sandwich shop within a quick walk (delicious lobster rolls at $13.99 on Tuesdays chock full of lobster meat), and parking was easy (we drove an F350). Also the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. I would recommend this and hope to stay again on day.

It was a nice, clean, well maintained unit and property. We could see the beach from our deck and the beach was only half a block away. When minor issues arose (e.g. re: another person parking in our spot) I was able to text the property manager and got a response that was helpful right away. Would definitely recommend it as a good spot.

New build or newly remodeled. Condo was spacious and just a couple minutes walk to the beach. Kitchen lacked some basic equipment such as a pasta strainer and a wine opener (thankfully we had one with us). Would rent again.

Parking was convenient. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of linens and towels. Rooms were clean. Area was quiet. Balcony was small but nice. Having a washer and dryer was a plus.

This place was amazing. Long Beach Suites was clean and comfortable. With all the amenities full kitchen/dining,washer dryer, 2 bedrooms ( king beds) one bath ( no tub in this unit) plenty of closet space, There is no highchair in the unit we stayed in. However I'm sure if asked it could be provided.Just the right distance from everything we wanted to see and do. And big big plus it is a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Surf Side Pizza and Ice Cream. And not far from downtown Gloucester and approximately 30 mins. From Salem. So much to see and do that even in 5 days not enough time to see it all. The castle is a definite must see. I can't say enough about the whole experience.

The place was very clean and nice and great location. I would stay again but would like to have a more stocked kitchen. There are no spices or cooking items. No larger pots to cook pasta and there was no dish soap.

Long Beach Suites was perfect. About a block from the beach, a short walk. There is a food stand at the entrance to the beach. The property was immaculate and just as described. We had 3 adults in a 1 bedroom on the ground level. Convenient to just pull up to the door and unload, then park. The sofa pull-out bed would have been better with a thicker mattress, but it was ok. The king size bed was very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent...very quick to respond and find solution to any question. We discovered a few activities in the area: 1. Summers on Thursday evening, there is a Culture Splash event in Gloucester where they open up the art galleries in Rocky Neck, the oldest art colony, and the water shuttle from the Harbormaster area to Rocky Neck is free ($15 reg). Artists were painting on easels on the streets, live music, art for purchase, art for kids to do, etc. 2. Holy Cow ice cream has 5-star rating, so we checked it out...and holy cow! It is well-named! They have award-winning flavors, make waffle cones on the spot, and huge portions. 3. Trip adviser had a self-guided car audio tour of Gloucester ($17) well worth it. 4. Minglewood Tavern-a med priced good restaurant. 5. Cape Ann Whale Watch-look on Groupon for discounted tickets! Fun and educational! Gloucester has skinny, one-way streets, roundabouts instead of lights, and difficult parking, but friendly folk who were very helpful and told us about the area (especially the harbormaster staff).

I liked that it was near the ocean, and had enough beds for everyone to sleep. I didn't like that they didn't supply enough garbage bags, or toilet paper, or basic cleaning supplies for counters.

The apartment was very clean. Easy entry. Parking was great. Close to both downtown Gloucester and Rockport. You can hear the waves of the beach from the patio. Very relaxing.

The room was different from the pictures taken on the website. I was looking forward to a bath, only to find a small shower. The water wasn't that hot and didn't last long. The cleanliness factor wasn't quite there either. There were spots on the linens, hair in the drawers of the dressers and in the floor. The kitchen ware was dirty too, fingerprints and specks of food debris. The cookware was Teflon coated with scratches that made it unsafe to cook in. Many things were broken: the bathroom door wouldn't latch shut. The only way it would stay shut is with a towel wedged against it. The toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall, and the holder for the iron and ironing board came completely out of the wall when I went to put it away. The walls were quite thin as well so the noise from the other tenets was quite loud. One neighbor blast their music. The people upstairs walked very loud and had a screaming child into all hours of the night. But the biggest annoyance is that they didn't offer the cancellation or reservation adjustment policy. I had to adjust my schedule by a day due to a storm and my flight being canceled, and they charged me anyway. I stayed an additional day and they didn't bother to comp it because I paid a day I didn't use, nor offer me a discount. Which is unfortunate because we could have been a return customer despite all the other issues.

What a great place! Great location, very comfortable beds, plenty of space. Just a few things... ceiling fans and air conditioner didn't work (60 degrees in October) we needed air. Also when we arrived, fyi, the coffee maker still had coffee in it and there were dirty towels on the washer. This is why I only give it 4 stars. We will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic. Only gets a 4 for cleanliness, as there were some flies in our unit upon arrival (presumably from prior guests leaving the slider open?). Cannot recommend this place enough. MA native, stayed for a wedding. The beach is quite literally up the street and we could see the ocean from our balcony. Our stay was also a birthday present to myself and I could not possibly be more happy with my choose. We will be back!!

Loved the location, walking distance to the beach. The apartment was very clean and responses to my questions were very quick. The only thing was I guess was a toddler on the upstairs apartment that kept us awake in the evenings with the running and jumping.

Everything about the hotel would have been great had they not forgotten about our stay. We had called becuase after the first initial emails and forms we thought we were good to go. They didn’t receive my id and needed it to give me the code to the unit ( never emailed ahead to tell us about it)Once all was sorted we were told to check into our unit. We walked into a room that had not been cleaned In between guests. Beds had no sheets and the dirty ones left piled on the bed. Dirty towels in the corner of the bathroom and bed room. Dishes left to dry on the counter, and a full trash bin. And the tip envelop left for Sharron with her top inside ( and problems with the unit during thier own stay) For a 2 night stay it wasn’t feasible to switch us to a different room when we had less than 12 hrs left and had already spent one night of the 2. A cleaner should have been sent so we didn’t have to spend our evening cleaning a hotel room. We didn’t get any refund. Just given a thank you for showing the photos 😂Offered a new room a day later and still being asked to send over my ID so we can check into our room. 2 days after the stay ended, and they have my info already cause e had chec

Did not realize when booked thru Expedia that it was "self check-in" . . . no humans involved or available at any time. Had to fill out a form and send ID photo, which turned into a 4 hour nightmare. Television had no channels, had to hook to your own Wifi somehow, which we didn\'t understand, so for first time since 1970\'s, we had no TV. Pretty sure all communication that did take place, although seemingly cordial, was to AI. Place itself was excellent otherwise, clean, comfortable, everything else worked perfectly. HOWEVER . . . !!!

There was plenty of space for a family of four adults. Three minute walk to the shore, so nice!! big kitchen!! clean!! pretty coastal decor… Would’ve been nice to have two bathrooms, but we managed fine. my only complaint was the walls were thin, so if you’re a light sleeper it’s tough, depending on what’s going on in the other units. it’s in a great location!! we had a wonderful stay!!

Unit was very spacious and plenty of room for 4 people. Having only one bathroom was kind of inconvenient, especially because the hot water did not last long enough for even one shower. Ceiling fans only go on one speed and the air conditioners in each room would not work consistently. Thankfully the weather is cooling down, but I couldn’t imagine trying to figure that out during the summer. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so we could hear every single footstep and every conversation around us. The occupants in the unit next to us were outside in the parking lot laughing and having a grand ole time until past 11pm the first night. The second night, they were on their patio smoking and talking loudly. Not only could I hear their entire conversation, but the smell from their cigarettes filled our unit. I reached out to the property to make a complaint and they responded quickly stating they would reach out to them to remind them of the quiet hours and no smoking policy. Apparently they didn’t follow through because it was around midnight before they quieted down. If you cherish your sleep, pick a different property! They also charged us a $175 property fee which was NOT disclosed prior to booking.

This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The only downside was the AC wouldn’t turn off. Even when I tried to turn it off, it kept running. Unfortunately, that made me sick. Everything else was great, though!

The suite was very clean and modern. Nothing was broken or damaged. Parking was awkward one time when I had to parallel park into my space, but I did it. The outer door was sticky to close and had to be slammed a bit. I had a problem with the A/C turning off after I adjusted the temperature but a text message reply suggested I turn the unit off for five minutes, then back on. That fixed the problem.

Our stay at Long Beach Suites was great. 9 out of 10 rating. Location, location, location! Beach was a short walk away as was Ice Cream and food options. The accommodation was very roomy and the beds comfy. We were on the bottom floor, and enjoyed the patio area and Adirondack Chairs. However we constantly heard footsteps and running overhead, and at times was very loud and disruptive. They obviously skimped on insulation. The shower did not have adequate drainage or water barriers to prevent water from escaping the shower, so towels were placed on the floor to catch the water. The place was tastefully decorated with beach wall art and the furniture was comfortable. All and all a nice option, pricey but worth it.

Everything was perfect except for the air conditioning. We could not shut it off so we were a bit chilly and also we could not get anything on TV so other than those two things it was immaculate and we would stay again.

no one on site. we could not get into our room because they sent us the wrong code, and stood outside for quite a while. the space is clearly brand new it is definitely no frills and decorated from big lots. rate was decent this time of year but if you're coming during high season keep your expectations in check.

Did not realize when booked thru Expedia that it was "self check-in" . . . no humans involved or available at any time. Had to fill out a form and send ID photo, which turned into a 4 hour nightmare. Television had no channels, had to hook to your own Wifi somehow, which we didn\'t understand, so for first time since 1970\'s, we had no TV. Pretty sure all communication that did take place, although seemingly cordial, was to AI. Place itself was excellent otherwise, clean, comfortable, everything else worked perfectly. HOWEVER . . . !!!

Unit was very spacious and plenty of room for 4 people. Having only one bathroom was kind of inconvenient, especially because the hot water did not last long enough for even one shower. Ceiling fans only go on one speed and the air conditioners in each room would not work consistently. Thankfully the weather is cooling down, but I couldn’t imagine trying to figure that out during the summer. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so we could hear every single footstep and every conversation around us. The occupants in the unit next to us were outside in the parking lot laughing and having a grand ole time until past 11pm the first night. The second night, they were on their patio smoking and talking loudly. Not only could I hear their entire conversation, but the smell from their cigarettes filled our unit. It was a nice, clean, well maintained unit and property. We could see the beach from our deck and the beach was only half a block away. When minor issues arose (e.g. re: another person parking in our spot) I was able to text the property manager and got a response that was helpful right away. Would definitely recommend it as a good spot.

Loved the location, walking distance to the beach. The apartment was very clean and responses to my questions were very quick. The only thing was I guess was a toddler on the upstairs apartment that kept us awake in the evenings with the running and jumping.

Everything about the hotel would have been great had they not forgotten about our stay. We had called becuase after the first initial emails and forms we thought we were good to go. They didn’t receive my id and needed it to give me the code to the unit ( never emailed ahead to tell us about it)Once all was sorted we were told to check into our unit. We walked into a room that had not been cleaned In between guests. Beds had no sheets and the dirty ones left piled on the bed. Dirty towels in the corner of the bathroom and bed room. Dishes left to dry on the counter, and a full trash bin. And the tip envelop left for Sharron with her top inside ( and problems with the unit during thier own stay) For a 2 night stay it wasn’t feasible to switch us to a different room when we had less than 12 hrs left and had already spent one night of the 2. A cleaner should have been sent so we didn’t have to spend our evening cleaning a hotel room. We didn’t get any refund. Just given a thank you for showing the photos 😂Offered a new room a day later and still being asked to send over my ID so we can check into our room. 2 days after the stay ended, and they have my info already cause e had chec

This apartment is in a great location. We could see the blue of the ocean on Long Beach while sitting on our patio, Long Beach and Good Harbor are an easy walk, there's an ice cream and sandwich shop within a quick walk (delicious lobster rolls at $13.99 on Tuesdays chock full of lobster meat), and parking was easy (we drove an F350). Also the neighborhood was quiet and friendly. I would recommend this and hope to stay again on day.

Three minute walk to the shore, so nice!! big kitchen!! clean!! pretty coastal decor… Would’ve been nice to have two bathrooms, but we managed fine. my only complaint was the walls were thin, so if you’re a light sleeper it’s tough, depending on what’s going on in the other units. it’s in a great location!! we had a wonderful stay!!

The intentions for self check in could be a positive experience however - parking signage is not consistent at this location. Items for general awareness. Entry door to building and to suites were loose and did not accept code provided for the entire stay. The flooring materials were not installed completely. Bathroom door did not latch properly. Blinds in bedroom were damaged and leaning against the wall. Shower curtain was damaged and did not close - leaving gaps for water leakage onto the floor. Bathroom sink was clogged and drained slow. Other Suite doors were left open and presented safety concerns. Fencing around the property was damaged and not complete. Main area ceiling fan was not functioning. AC controller had a note attached with request on setting limitations. Pillows were small and on the cheaper end. Gap between the bed and wall left opportunities for pillow and bedding loss. The blinds left gaps for exterior to interior viewing. Damaged bath vanity cabinets. Sand present in the pull out sofa/bed. Cracks in the walls at the suite entrance and hall pass thru to bed and bath area present and presents questionable structure integrity. Has potential of providing a better experience but seems run down and not well managed. Dave Leach
