Overall, this is a very nice property with an excellent location. The mid-century modern decor is very well done with some gorgeous finishes - especially in the master bedroom. Some of the amenities were a bit lacking (the grill needed a hefty cleaning and we ultimately chose not to use it for this reason, the stovetop griddle didn\'t work, numerous lightbulbs were burnt out, outdoor patio furniture with fire features had no gas / couldn\'t be used, and some other minor items). That said, I\'m sure this is much more of a summer rental and these items would have been addressed prior to arrival during the "on season". Bottom line: the small issues don\'t outweigh all the good things, and I\'d still recommend this property.

Very pleased overall with our stay - property has a ton to offer in terms of common areas to hang out in, spacious bedrooms throughout the house, plenty of bathrooms. Nicely appointed kitchen. Really nice zero entry / shallow beach area good for kids / kayaking / paddleboarding. Our group was all adults but we talked about staying again sometime with the wives & kids. Highly recommend walking up the hill to Sutton Bay Ciders.

We go there almost yearly because of the house amenities, views and location. So relaxing and peaceful! We were disappointed with the poor clean up and closing of the warm weather activities. Our normal views were obscured by non- tidiness of patio furniture and tubing for water activities. They have an empty garage that could’ve stored these items. It is still a favorite destination for us!

This was a lovely trip! We had never vacationed on a lake or been to Michigan. The weather was quite pleasant, a nice respite from the scorching heat. The views were beautiful. We had so much fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We did some hiking and explored Sutton’s Bay, a very nice town. Tristan & Cyndi were great hosts!

House was perfect for family. Lots of space and bedroom options. Nice beach, teens loved stand up boards and canoes, fire pit. Kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. Conveniently located and beautiful property. Loved our family time together in this beautiful house.

We had an awesome time at this location. Everything was very clean with plenty of necessities provided (towels, toilet paper, etc.). The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed to cook. Hosts left detailed instructions for checkout which we appreciated. Tons of spaces to gather and hang out, with great views of the water. Very close to wineries and restaurants, and home had ample parking. Would recommend for large groups. We had a great, fun weekend and loved the pool table!

We absolutely love staying here! This was our third year in a row that we have stayed at this beautiful home on Sutton’s Bay. It has become our annual weekend away in February with close friends. This home as everything you can possibly imagine. The space is perfect for our group as there are many areas throughout the home where we can relax, and simply enjoy each others company. The kitchen is a perfect place to gather as we cook both breakfast and dinner together versus making reservations and going out to eat. We also love everything the basement has to offer… a sauna, pool table, place to play cards, etc.

The host was great and the home was beautiful clean and has lots of room. Nice back yard with a beautiful view and sandy beach. Has plenty of parking and is steps away from a boat launch. Convenient location to downtown Suttons and Traverse city. Our Family had the best time and can't wait to go back.

This was our second time staying at this incredible property and we enjoyed our week immensely and didn’t want to leave. The views are stunning, the house is spacious and well equipped, and the location is perfect to visit Sutton’s Bay, Traverse City, Tarte Trail and wineries. Communication with Tristan and Cindi were prompt and because they own Ride Leelanau, it was so convenient to get e-bikes delivered to the house. We used their grill, fire pit to roast s’mores, and kayaks and paddle boards. It was a magical week for my entire family and we can’t wait to rent this stunning property again!

Great property for a big family or group! Amazing location right on the West Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. The house is very clean and well maintained. The hosts are very personable and responsive to any needs. Newer washer and dryer. Everything we needed was included.

We just spent Thanksgiving week here with our extended family. The home was so spacious and cozy, and incredibly clean. It had everything we needed. It dumped snow and was so pretty looking over the lake - I can imagine it's glorious in summer. We had a wonderful time!

This was our fifth stay at this house, and every time is better than the last! The location is perfection, giving you beautiful sunrises over the bay while still being close enough to Traverse City to enjoy restaurants, breweries, and shopping. We appreciate that the linens and decorations feel like what you would actually purchase for your own home and not for a rental property. The art is stunning and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen and dining room provide a wonderful place to gather and the living room gives us a chance to watch Football together. We enjoy using all of the fun games downstairs! And everyone seems to sleep really well at this house. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We were surprised by the size of the home and the way the kitchen was supplied. Both of these were great. There was plenty of room to celebrate Christmas with a family of 10. We were there for a mild few days. Our concern was that the lower level was cold and there were no extra blankets. We were OK because I brought more blankets and there were heaters but it did make it a bit less comfortable for the young family downstairs

The full kitchen was indeed that including a Keurig coffee maker. The home was ideal for my siblings--11 of us!-to enjoy together and also have private space. We were "celebrating" one another and an untimely death of one of our siblings. This was just the right place to be.

Our stay at the above property was much much more than we ever expected!!! The hosts were amazing!!! Very easy to contact, helpful, and even allowed an early check-in for us!!! We stayed with a few families - this is such a fun, family friendly place. Lots to do nearby, or just stay and play on the beach/in the water all day. Hosts were wonderful and helpful throughout the stay!

The house and the lakefront property are truly beautiful, full of every amenity possible and highly conducive to a great family vacation. Everyone from the kids to adults loved the place and there is plenty to do outside and nside when it rained. The lake and scenery are just gorgeous. The owners were very responsive to any needs we had. I highly recommend this spot. I can't think of any negatives.

This was a lovely trip! We had never vacationed on a lake or been to Michigan. The weather was quite pleasant, a nice respite from the scorching heat. The views were beautiful. We had so much fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We did some hiking and explored Sutton’s Bay, a very nice town. Tristan & Cyndi were great hosts!

Wonderful house, perfect location! The host was very responsive. House was clean and has great amenities. Plenty of space to spread out for adults. The bonus was seeing the sunrise over the bay each day! Highly recommend this property!

This property was in a wonderful location for my group to celebrate my 50th birthday and enjoy some time in the area with wine tours, shopping and sites. Communication with the property owner was excellent, and we truly enjoyed the lovely home and view.

The host was great and the home was beautiful clean and has lots of room. Nice back yard with a beautiful view and sandy beach. Has plenty of parking and is steps away from a boat launch. Convenient location to downtown Suttons and Traverse city. Our Family had the best time and can't wait to go back.

This was our second time staying at this incredible property and we enjoyed our week immensely and didn’t want to leave. The views are stunning, the house is spacious and well equipped, and the location is perfect to visit Sutton’s Bay, Traverse City, Tarte Trail and wineries. Communication with Tristan and Cindi were prompt and because they own Ride Leelanau, it was so convenient to get e-bikes delivered to the house. We used their grill, fire pit to roast s’mores, and kayaks and paddle boards. It was a magical week for my entire family and we can’t wait to rent this stunning property again!

Great property for a big family or group! Amazing location right on the West Arm of Grand Traverse Bay. The house is very clean and well maintained. The hosts are very personable and responsive to any needs. Newer washer and dryer. Everything we needed was included.

Spent a fabulous week with extended family. The house was perfect for all of us. The adults all had their own bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the basement. We rented a pontoon boat and explored the Bay. Many wonderful memories were created.

We had a fantastic week - you can’t find a better location! The beach and bay are perfect for all ages! The house is a gem - the mid century modern and decor is fun. The house was clean and had everything needed. Would recommend.

The property is very spacious and has everything you could ask for. The check in was easy. The photos in the listing are beautiful. The actual house is a bit more worn than the photos show, but probably most properties in this area are. The worst thing for us is the road noise from M22, which is not the host's fault at all, but just be aware that if you are looking for tranquil and quiet along the shore, there probably is no such thing in this area. There were a few small problems at the house, like a toilet that needs to be replaced, kayak paddles for only 2, but seats for 4, ice maker that only gives a few cubes, but the host was responsive to other issues in a very timely manner. We loved this house and it really is the best appointed house we've ever been in. I hope guests keep taking care of it so everyone can enjoy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this midcentury modern. We were there for four nights on a girls trip. The house allowed everyone their own room and plenty of showers to go around. We were fortunate that the weather was great for mid May and enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. It was early and the dock was not yet in the water. The kitchen had everything we needed for the light cooking we did. The location was great for exploring north or south to Traverse City. Plenty of games to entertain us on our one rainy day.
