Was a wonderful B&B. Quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Checking was virtual and room was beautiful. Couldn’t hear anyone else who stayed minus when they came up the stairs. The house was gorgeous inside and the porch outside was nice to sit at. Will definitely come back here and stay again

My teen age daughter took a trip to Spokane WA. For a family members graduation. This property was the least expensive in the area, but so under rated. This B&B was an absolute blast into the past. Antique furniture, lovely paintings, wrap around porch and a most wonderful hostess. This was the most comfortable stay anywhere my family has stayed. A lovely breakfast, a really tantalizing puzzle and chess waiting for you in the main room, an invitation to lounge during your stay rather than simply hide away in your room. A large dining table that invited conversations with the others catching breakfast at the same time. Air conditioning in our room was a definite bonus! The property is tucked into a residential neighborhood, yet close to all the necessary shops. A clean comfortable stay for a great price with quite the personality!

I cannot stress how much we loved our stay here! It feels like you are transported back in time into a beautiful home that you wish you could stay at. We stayed in the Blue Room, which was beautiful with a huge mirror, great AC, a beautiful blue couch and a wonderful bed. Breakfast was simple of just yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries and coffee/ orange juice. Definitely enough to get your day started. The downstairs played wonderful classical music the whole time, the house was so clean and well decorated, and we felt plenty safe with all exterior doors having a keypad as well as our room. I wish we could've stayed longer, and I will definitely be returning next time we are in town!

I stayed here to be close to Gonzaga University where my son was playing basketball and it was very convenient for my purposes. The inside of the property has been updated and is lovely. I stayed in room 1, the Blue room. The bed is comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom and shower are a little small but have everything you need. There was a bit late of a problem with the keypad for my room door that left me locked out upon arrival and on the last day after using the bathroom. Holland quickly fixed it after contacting her. The breakfast is a nice continental breakfast with delicious croissants, muffins, yogurt, fruit and meats and cheeses. The large porch is lovely to sit on. The exterior of the building is in need of some repairs and maintenance but it looks as though it is being worked on currently. Overall, I would stay here again.

Wow! This is a very well maintained 1908 house. We loved our 2 night stay here. The room was great, clean, quiet and super comfy bed. The parlour area downstairs is so nice to sit and relax in and the porch is lovely. We ate breakfast out on the porch and soaked in everything. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it for any looking for something a little different that’s a hotel stay.

Place advertised a private bath, in actuality two of the three units had a shared hallway bath, including ours, which was unacceptable. We always check the cleanliness of the bed when we travel. It had a very old 6 inch mattress with a large old worn 10 inch foam pad on top. Not comfortable at all. There was a dingy fluffy white carpet in front of a mirror in the room. We moved it to see the condition of the floor underneath and found a dirty Q-tip. We decided to leave immediately and did not stay the night. We called and left 2 messages with the “host” but received no response. We attempted to get a refund through Hotels.com but were not successful because the host did not respond to there inquiries either. This property was rated 9.2 out 10, which I find hard to believe and makes me question the validity of the reviews.

Stay overall was very nice, although someone else in the B & B definitely had an accident in the bathroom the evidence of which was left behind, and I found myself cleaning that up. I would not recommend to folks who are seizure prone as the bathroom light also flickered tremendously whenever water was running. Room itself was cozy, and the area its in is great with easy access to plenty of places to walk around.

It was only a night's stay. The house is beautifully maintained, full of historical charm, and tastefully decorated. The owner was very helpful in the check-in process. The bedding is clean and comfy. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. I would like the room with an en-suite bathroom next time around. The house is close to Gonzaga, so plenty of eateries are nearby. Strongly recommend.

We loved out 2 night stay in this historic Bed and Breakfast. This house has so much charm and character to it!! Very clean, yummy breakfast, comfortable bed and just a beautiful historic atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again! The owner mentioned that their next focus is the landscape, so I'm pretty excited to see that on our next visit.

This was such a beautiful relaxing stay everything about it was perfect for us as a couple. We are huge fans of bed and breakfasts and we kind of go around everywhere looking for new ones to try. This will be one that we visit again and again. It was clean especially for being such an older place usually we stay in old places and you'll find dust in different random places but not here I highly recommend!

room very clean. one pillow had several long hairs on it, probably from the 'throw' pillows that may have had them on it. otherwise, absolutely spotless. incredibly well kept historic home, stunning. could have been a bit more quantities for breakfast.

I was fortunate enough to be the only guest staying while I was here and it was absolutely magical. The house is so cozy and having the common areas to myself really made it feel like I was just at home, if my house was beautifully and ornately decorated. Not to mention the mattress was probably the comfiest of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I”m recommending this place to anyone passing through or near Spokane.

It’s a nice old house and we expected the quirks that go along with that. I did not see in my expedia reservation confirmation that our room had a shared bathroom. Surprise! Also, the breakfast was okay but usually a bed and breakfast includes a “hot’ full breakfast, not continental. The bottle of water in our bedroom tasted terrible - it was a filled bottle. The room was very warm but the air conditioner was too loud to sleep. Too noisy outside for open window and not sure could open anyway. There was no host - and music playing 24 hours in the common room. Sorry but I think you could do better. The lovely house could be a special place with some upgrades in facilities and services.

We came to Spokane for a Mini Vacation and a Wedding! we had a nice stay, and Bryce was super friendly! The stairs are super noisy! and the only thing I would suggest is a trash can in the bedroom. Thank you so much had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Marianna Stolz house. It was easy to find, check in simple. The room was spacious, very comfortable bed. We chose to share a washroom which was just down the hall, housecoats were provided. It felt a bit strange to be in the house without a host! There were other guests, but we did not encounter anyone. The continental breakfast was laid out in the dining room, good selection of quality food. We would stay here again.

We found this to be a great B&B. You must be able to navigate stairs, and not mind the music that truely old stairs make. The breakfast was much better than i imagined.

Great stay. We were running late for check in, called, left message, and weren't sure what would happen if we were later than planned. The staff got right back to us and eased our stress. We came to Spokane for a Mini Vacation and a Wedding! we had a nice stay, and Bryce was super friendly! The stairs are super noisy! and the only thing I would suggest is a trash can in the bedroom. Thank you so much had a wonderful time.

Place advertised a private bath, in actuality two of the three units had a shared hallway bath, including ours, which was unacceptable. We always check the cleanliness of the bed when we travel. It had a very old 6 inch mattress with a large old worn 10 inch foam pad on top. Not comfortable at all. There was a dingy fluffy white carpet in front of a mirror in the room. We moved it to see the condition of the floor underneath and found a dirty Q-tip. We decided to leave immediately and did not stay the night. We called and left 2 messages with the “host” but received no response. We attempted to get a refund through Hotels.com but were not successful because the host did not respond to there inquiries either. This property was rated 9.2 out 10, which I find hard to believe and makes me question the validity of the reviews.

Host was wonderful. We came to the hotel late and she was available by phone call and prompt to help us get inside. The place is enchanting inside and out. We really enjoyed all the vintage furniture and lovely decor. The room was cozy and inviting. My wife greatly loved the claw foot tub. The breakfast was perfect whether you wanted tea or coffee, and with fruits and delicious pastries and yogurt. We would recommend this place!

The bedding is clean and comfy. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. I would like the room with an en-suite bathroom next time around. The house is close to Gonzaga, so plenty of eateries are nearby. I stayed here to be close to Gonzaga University where my son was playing basketball and it was very convenient for my purposes. The inside of the property has been updated and is lovely. I stayed in room 1, the Blue room. The bed is comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom and shower are a little small but have everything you need. There was a bit late of a problem with the keypad for my room door that left me locked out upon arrival and on the last day after using the bathroom. Holland quickly fixed it after contacting her. The breakfast is a nice continental breakfast with delicious croissants, muffins, yogurt, fruit and meats and cheeses. The large porch is lovely to sit on. The exterior of the building is in need of some repairs and maintenance but it looks as though it is being worked on currently. Overall, I would stay here again.

Was a wonderful B&B. Quiet and in a nice neighborhood. Checking was virtual and room was beautiful. Couldn’t hear anyone else who stayed minus when they came up the stairs. The house was gorgeous inside and the porch outside was nice to sit at. Will definitely come back here and stay again

My teen age daughter took a trip to Spokane WA. For a family members graduation. This property was the least expensive in the area, but so under rated. This B&B was an absolute blast into the past. Antique furniture, lovely paintings, wrap around porch and a most wonderful hostess. This was the most comfortable stay anywhere my family has stayed. A lovely breakfast, a really tantalizing puzzle and chess waiting for you in the main room, an invitation to lounge during your stay rather than simply hide away in your room. A large dining table that invited conversations with the others catching breakfast at the same time. Air conditioning in our room was a definite bonus! The property is tucked into a residential neighborhood, yet close to all the necessary shops. A clean comfortable stay for a great price with quite the personality!

This historic house was simply beautiful, and the stay was so quiet that I doubt we can ever stay elsewhere in Spokane again. The location was central with easy access to parks and downtown.

The house is neat and old. The breakfast was more of a European type - croissant and cold cuts than one would expect from a real Bed and Breakfast. The shared bathroom was a slight surprise and we only saw the owner briefly. Overall a strange experience. The house is in an evolving neighborhood and on a busy street (not too bad at night)....

Breakfast was served between 7:30-9:30. We showed up at 8:10 and the food the other couples raved about was gone and there weren't even enough plates... No one checked on it until it was time to clean up. And even I was not asked how I enjoyed breakfast, which was nothing, because the leftover things are nothing i can eat.

We stayed one night , it was a delayed honeymoon. We had the best time ever. It is a beautiful home. So much character. We had a beautiful room with a king size bed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, I can’t say enough good things. Only bad thing, we couldn’t stay another night .

It’s a nice old house and we expected the quirks that go along with that. I did not see in my expedia reservation confirmation that our room had a shared bathroom. Surprise! Also, the breakfast was okay but usually a bed and breakfast includes a “hot’ full breakfast, not continental. The bottle of water in our bedroom tasted terrible - it was a filled bottle. The room was very warm but the air conditioner was too loud to sleep. Too noisy outside for open window and not sure could open anyway. There was no host - and music playing 24 hours in the common room. Sorry but I think you could do better. The lovely house could be a special place with some upgrades in facilities and services.

room very clean. one pillow had several long hairs on it, probably from the 'throw' pillows that may have had them on it. otherwise, absolutely spotless. incredibly well kept historic home, stunning. could have been a bit more quantities for breakfast.

Wow! This is a very well maintained 1908 house. We loved our 2 night stay here. The room was great, clean, quiet and super comfy bed. The parlour area downstairs is so nice to sit and relax in and the porch is lovely. We ate breakfast out on the porch and soaked in everything. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it for any looking for something a little different that’s a hotel stay.

Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again.
