The lady at the front was very nice! The rooms smelled like they had been smokers lounges for years before we got there. We booked a room for three and there was only the king sized bed. The toilet was filthy and wasn’t even secured to the floor! The tub was disgusting. The TV remote was held together with scotch tape and someone’s hair. The people hanging out in the halls and stairs were smoking something other than cigarettes or marijuana and were both in the way and concerning. The house arrest ankle bracelets were a nice touch! All on top of the $256 price tag for the night!

The place looked like they were in the process of renovating the property. When we arrived there was no one at the check in desk. I had to call the hotel and ask the person if someone could check us in. However, the room was nice and comfortable. If it only had a hair dryer and coffee maker it could hold its on with any hotel chain. Outside the room itself is a different matter altogether. All the fighting, women screaming obscene profanities, slamming of doors, and such has made me decide I will never stay here again. I didn't appreciate the lack of securtity at all. No way will we ever stay here again or recommend this place to anyone

The staff were very kind and friendly! The property itself definitely needs an overhaul. We paid a premium rate for our stay expecting it to be a decent place. Although the room itself appeared to have been remodeled at some point, there were definitely some concerns with the cleanliness. When we arrived the floors were sticky, the toilet did not want to flush, there was black chunks coming out of the tap when you tried to shower. There was a ring around the toilet bowl that had not been cleaned in some time. There was a smell of stale cigarettes that overpowered the hallway and into our room that was so strong we needed to buy an air freshener to make it tolerable. There was hair on the bedsheets that was not ours when we arrived as well. There was no bars of soap (the mini ones for your hands) or any sort of hygiene product in the bathroom. On the positive, there was lots of parking, there was easy access to the area and lots of options for fuel, a fast food place etc. again, the staff were great but this is a 1-2 star at best and does not justify 250$ per night.

The room I stayed in had been recently remodeled. Very clean and great condition. The reason I gave 4 stars is, the front parking lot did not have enough street lights. Very dark in spots. Next door there is Rudy's Diner. Family owned with excellent service and food at affordable prices.

It was pleasantly surprising how nice this hotel was, and for multiple reasons. The room was enormous. You could have fit a third bed in the room. While it was in an area surrounded by cornfields, it was in a great location. There is a restaurant conveniently located right next door. The rooms were very clean to add. Wo loved our stay.

Overall my only complaint is that the bathroom door didn't open all the way because it bumps into the toilet. The room smelled nice and was very clean and I didn't see any bugs and my neighbors were quiet. I also didn't have any issues with any staff.

Really comfortable high bed! Only complaint was the bathroom door- you had to walk into the bathroom to be able to close the door. And you couldn’t fully open the door. We didn’t mind too much because it was just one night.

First room given to us smelt like smoke even though it's a non smoking motel. So switched rooms which was good except the air conditioner was very noisy and you couldn't adjust it. Bathroom door hit the toilet if you opened it to far.

This trip was because of a family emergency situation and the Welcome Inn was kind enough to situate us next to other family members coming from another state. We appreciated that. The rooms were both clean and comfortable. We would certainly book there again.

I don't know the lady name but I would guess she is the owner or manager but she allowed me to check in early and I appreciate that. They also have a older guy that works there and he is so sweet. Only issue I had was I asked one of the house keeping ladies to grab my trash because I was there 3 days and they didn't even offer to get the trash. She told me that I needed to take my own trash. When I spoke with the lady at the first desk on check out. She informed me that she wasn't suppose to tell me that, they actually was suppose to remove the trash when I asked.. They do have another lady that has a little attitude but Idk.. The manager or the owner that be in there is so friendly and sweet, compared to her staff..

I stayed here multiple times during the month of June to be close to my clients at work. The staff here is friendly and helpful and when I lost my card Anita was very understanding and allowed me to stay without my card for the deposit. Great customer service

I've been to 7 hotels in the last month and a half. This one is the only one worth reviewing. The staff here was courteous and generous. They were willing to work with my situation. They were accommodating and polite. The room was in excellent condition, and was kept up very well during my stay. The water pressure is just right, the room size leaves plenty for exercise or guests. The location is in the heart of Harrington, but is also towards the middle of one of the main highways in Delaware, hwy 13. Excellent spot for a stay, traveling in either direction will not disappoint. And the price is right. With weekly rates also available, this was the best stay I had during my tour of the East Coast.

Beautiful clean room. Very spacious. Close to lots of restaurants and some shopping and a short drive to the fairgrounds or casino!

Will not be staying there again. Pillows were the size of couch Pillows. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. Website said hot breakfast and when I go breakfast was a choice of raisin bran or frosted flakes.

It was pleasantly surprising how nice this hotel was, and for multiple reasons. The room was enormous. You could have fit a third bed in the room. While it was in an area surrounded by cornfields, it was in a great location. There is a restaurant conveniently located right next door. The rooms were very clean to add. Wo loved our stay.

Stay was fine for a quick work stop. Walls were thin & right next to a road. Indoor room but no security to get into the building. Adjoining room door. No carpet on the floors. Very bare minimum. There’s no coffee maker in the room. And the breakfast is very sparse.

The room I stayed in had been recently remodeled. Very clean and great condition. The reason I gave 4 stars is, the front parking lot did not have enough street lights. Very dark in spots. Next door there is Rudy's Diner. Family owned with excellent service and food at affordable prices.

The check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. My room was very clean. The breakfast was disappointing with a small prepackaged honey bun, two kinds of cereal and coffee.

Overall, the hotel was clean & decent. The night staff made our check-in go smoothly. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. However there was no iron or iron board (housekeeping took care of that). The free continental breakfast consist of honey buns and two types of cereals. Outside of that, the hotel was a decent place to stay for the price.

We came in for the Phish festival and were only in the room for sleeping. The stay was everything we could've asked for...clean, comfortable bed, good shower, great air conditioning, coffee in the morning, and friendly staff. Thank you!

It was alright but not what I expected. There were three strands of long hair on my bed sheets and in the tub drain And the white towels had stains on it. It just didn't make me feel confident on cleanliness. The half n half milk for the coffee's were stale..I had chunks of milk in my coffee Other than that, the staff was friendly And check in was easy.

Given the high cost of my child's travel sports tournaments I usually opt to stay at cheaper motels to save money. After some truly unpleasant experiences, I decided to spend more this year and stay at nicer properties with better reviews. As the recent reviews for the Harrington Welcome Inn were very positive, and the cost was double what I have normally spent, I was hopeful that the accommodations would be far nicer than what we were used to. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I spent a total of $440 for two nights. The bad: Our room had a really strong, musty odor of old cigarettes. Hairs and dirt particles in sheets & bathroom floor. Shower drain had black mold around it. The sink was clogged, slow to drain & gurgled up nasty gunk. Dirty stain in toilet at water level. No "Do Not Disturb" door hanger. Microwave was dirty. Exterior hallway and coin-operated laundry area were filthy with dirt, lint and bits of trash everywhere for the 3 days we were there. The one-ply toilet paper was awful. The good: Friendly staff, beds were comfortable, relatively quiet, great water pressure and bath towels were clean. If I had paid around $100/night then I'd expect what I got and it wouldn't be a problem. But I paid double that and expected a room that didn't stink, was far cleaner than it was, a sink that drained properly and decent toilet paper. The property itself should have been a lot cleaner as well. Can't recommend at this price.

I was a solo traveler and stayed one night. The property was just okay. Everything appeared old and somewhat maintained. As a man, I was comfortable. However, I would not felt comfortable leaving my wife alone there for the evening. The breakfast was a joke. So don’t count on eating breakfast at the hotel. There is a full service restaurant adjoining the hotel’s parking lot. The food was good. I don’t require a lot when traveling, but I say pass on this one if you do require a “fancy” hotel.
