This was a great place for me to stay with my truck and motorcycle trailer. Because of the campus security I felt fine just detaching my trailer with the bike on it. In the city that would make it very easy to steal. Very safe. I had a beautiful ocean view room. The bed was great. It is not a typical hotel scene though. No swimming pool, no restaurant/bar.

Convenient location if you’re visiting Pepperdine as it is the only hotel on campus. It’s a bit odd, as it was clearly converted from an office building or classrooms. Not a lot of amenities but close enough to drive anywhere and the view is absolutely stunning.

This hotel is part of a university. It's quiet, a lovely, well appointed room with a great view of the ocean from high above. There is no restaurant, lobby shops,etc., but you can buy a water or snack and the college has a nearby cafeteria. It's a short drive down the hill into Malibu with plenty of options. It's half the price of other Malibu hotels. It's a find.

We were upgraded to an ocean view and balcony so that was a pleasant surprise! It was a very relaxing three days and the room and bed were very upscale and comfortable. Every receptionist at the desk was extremely cordial and helpful. The view was gorgeous! There was plenty of coffee and apples each morning. I would definitely stay again. It was close to the beach, many restaurants, and the Getty Villa.

I had a hard time finding the hotel, signage was lacking. Also parking is lacking. Had to walk a lot to get back to hotel because all their spots were taken. Nice linens and toiletries. Nice size room. Great burritos en the university restaurant that is attached to the hotel.

The only thing i didnt like was i asked/paid for ocean view they gave me mountain view also the room looked like hasn't been cleaned, the sheets smelled weird and there was a dirty towel also spiders and spiderweb. Overall good size room for one person beautiful big balcony which was very enjoyable, i would stay here again but probably next time ill be asking for new things.

The front desk staff was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. Because of the wonderful woman at the front desk, this was one of our best hotel stays ever. Additionally, the room was immaculate and very quiet. My daughter has dog allergies and it was so nice to stay in a place that is allergy free. Thank you thank you!

Tv did not work in our room, and had to switch rooms after an hour of troubleshooting a stupid TV. In addition, was supposedly a Mountain View, which turned out to a courtyard view. Lame. Was our anniversary, won't do that again.

It was a complete surprise that at the top of the beautiful Pepperdine campus nestled in the hills were executive suites with sweeping ocean views. The decor was a bit corporate… But the beauty of the local and the staff were superb. And the price was unbeatable during high season. Something just down the road comparable was $1700! A real gem!

Check in was a mess. No recognition of my Expedia status. In fact, we even asked to pay for a better room because our room was horrific. No better than a motel six and I’m being kind. The hotel was near empty. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if it was the last hotel on earth.

My friend and I stayed there just because it was the location that we needed. We liked it so much that we came back on our next girl trip. The receptionist (Claudia?blonde hair) is just a gem and made our stay, she also remembered us from the year prior! See you next year!

The location is awesome. But the staff could do better in some areas. The staff neglected to tell us how the TV works. And they also gave us the wrong room at first. Someone on the cleaning staff later on made rude comments in front my friend (in Spanish but my friend understood) when they were getting soda. I just ask they do better.

We kind of got lost, finding the place didn’t realize it was at heroes garden! I think that the place is really beautiful with an amazing view. Very happy there.

Place is beautiful to stay at and since it was in a gated university, it felt safe. Staff was professional and friendly. Lots of parking with a great view of Malibu towards the beach. Fairly convenient to stores, restaurants, and Malibu pier.

Place is beautiful to stay at and since it was in a gated university, it felt safe. Staff was professional and friendly. Lots of parking with a great view of Malibu towards the beach. Fairly convenient to stores, restaurants, and Malibu pier.

There is no restaurant, lobby shops,etc., but you can buy a water or snack and the college has a nearby cafeteria. It's a short drive down the hill into Malibu with plenty of options. It's half the price of other Malibu hotels. It's a find.

The building for check in is extremely difficult to find and very little signage on the campus. The front desk was just ok. Not very friendly and the WiFi is not greatly. It’s hard to command and once you do it drops often.

This was a great place for me to stay with my truck and motorcycle trailer. Because of the campus security I felt fine just detaching my trailer with the bike on it. In the city that would make it very easy to steal. Very safe. I had a beautiful ocean view room. The bed was great. It is not a typical hotel scene though. No swimming pool, no restaurant/bar.

We were upgraded to an ocean view and balcony so that was a pleasant surprise! It was a very relaxing three days and the room and bed were very upscale and comfortable. Every receptionist at the desk was extremely cordial and helpful. The view was gorgeous! There was plenty of coffee and apples each morning. I would definitely stay again. It was close to the beach, many restaurants, and the Getty Villa.

I had a hard time finding the hotel, signage was lacking. Also parking is lacking. Had to walk a lot to get back to hotel because all their spots were taken. Nice linens and toiletries. Nice size room. Great burritos en the university restaurant that is attached to the hotel.

I stayed for two nights. The first night was very unpleasant due to a strong sewer gas odor in the room, which was severe enough that I had to leave the window open throughout the night. My room was located on the first floor and I felt a bit unsafe but I had no choice. The hotel clerk later informed me that a previous guest had also complained about the same issue. I appreciate that the hotel moved me to another room for the second night, which was comfortable and allowed me to enjoy my stay. However, I believe the original room should not have been assigned to another guest until the odor issue had been resolved.
