It took over 10 minutes to check in because two credit card machines in a row didn’t work. My room was not cleaned while I was out from 9a to 3:30p so I came back to a dirty room. Note- I did not have my do not disturb light on. Then when they agreed to come clean it at 4:30, they showed up at 4:05 when I was still in the room trying to rest. Finally, the pool was very substandard for a 5 start hotel/ it was more like a 2-star residence inn. The whole area wreaked of chlorine and it didn’t have any of the ambiance or sleek look one would expect at a top and expensive property. Any new pool should have saline as part of it which eliminates the chlorine smell and should have more money put into the building of the pool and hot tub itself. Very disappointing as a pool for my kids to use was a big reason I chose the hotel. Finally one of the lights in my room kept flickering when it was on. The staff were friendly if over-solicitous. This was a really disappointing stay.

I was impressed the moment the front door was opened for me when I arrived and it contained my whole stay. I was professional greeted each time I arrived or left, was given bottled water on hot days, escorted to the elevator, and had a great experience. The reception desk is on the 17th floor, which is a huge flex when checking in and overlooking the Boston skyline, and it’s next to Long Bar where you can get craft drinks and great food. I had the Whirlpool IPA and a lobsta roll, it was great. The rooms are very modern with some classic decor and amenities, the bathroom was a great size. I also had motorized blinds and shades, it was so fun to use those when I woke up and went to bed. The speakeasy was great too, it’s behind a very non-descript door but opens to two story bar. I would recommend a stay here anytime, it’s hard to believe there’s anything better in Boston.

This may be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is definitely in the top 5. Great room, great staff, and great restaurants/bars/amenities. It's very walkable to many things Boston, as well!

For the price surprised at flaws; TV remote stopped working during night and couldn’t turn off TV, confusing lighting that doesn’t allow individual bedside light to be turned off, only 2 elevators so long wait to go between floors

Not sure I've ever stayed in a more fine and elegant hotel. From the super friendly, professional staff, to the immaculate and beautiful appointments, the Raffles beats them all. I could not believe the service - the very highest standard, where every single person makes you feel welcome, and wants your stay to be the best ever. Turn down service with hand made sweets, wonderful fitness room, Long Bar, where I was able to have coffee with colleagues in town. It was all amazing.

This was an awesome experience! The welcome/checkin process was smooth and filled with warm drinks and smiles. The butler service that Michael provided was above and beyond and made me feel like a queen. The decor is gorgeous and the Blind Duck was a gem. There are only a few things that detracted from my experience. One, there was a cup in the bar in my room that had white powder caked to the bottom. Not a problem as there was more than enough cups/glasses that were clean (as was everything else!). Second, I was awaken at 5:30ish in the morning by a fire alarm and walked down 12 flights of stairs to find out this was a false alarm. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather not die in a fire, but since this was my only night and I had a late check in I felt like I was unable to take advantage of the hotel’s amenities and was unable to sleep in as I would have hoped/liked to. Again, I understand that safety comes first, but did feel like my stay was tainted by the early morning freak out and trudge down 12 flights of stairs, due to a false alarm. Overall, I would love to stay here again and despite the hefty price I enjoyed the hotel.

Please do not stay here. There are so many other places to stay in Boston. Everything was a mess from the point of check-in and no matter how many staff members tried to make our experience better, they didn’t fix the root of the issue - they’re severely understaffed. I’ll hit some of the key lowlights: No one helped us with our luggage upon check-in, we arrived at 3:30 for a 3:00 check-in and our room wasn’t ready, our upgraded premier room had a view of a parking garage, the bedsheets were filthy and smelled like feet (clearly hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests), 23 hours went by without service to the room at all so we had a pile of towels and ran out of tissues, both of us got food poisoning from the lunch at Long Bar (don’t eat the Caesar salads) . . . and this is just to name a few. We wanted to check out immediately upon arrival and they convinced us to stay. Inevitably we checked out the following day and found a much better five star hotel. This hotel is three stars MAX. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

Beautiful hotel, flowers in All areas. Staff was superb. Two very minor issue - no fan for toilet area, hot water in shower takes a bit. Doesn’t distract from my overall rating. Easily a come back recommendation

Amazing hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful, attentive to detail and professional. The staff at the Long Bar and Terrace were a different story. We got a table in the evening and no one ever came to us, we ended up standing by the bar and just ordering a drink there. For breakfast, we placed our order and apparently we were forgotten. I had to get up and go look for a staff member. The room was great, but we found body hair in the tub as we arrived. It was taken care of but something to keep in mind.

Excellent hotel. The only thing was that the AC in our room was so loud when turned on that it was unbearable. The hotel did help us move to another room that did not have the problem. We were only there for a night. We will definitely stay again as it is an excellent hotel otherwise.

Please do not stay here. There are so many other places to stay in Boston. Everything was a mess from the point of check-in and no matter how many staff members tried to make our experience better, they didn’t fix the root of the issue - they’re severely understaffed. I’ll hit some of the key lowlights: No one helped us with our luggage upon check-in, we arrived at 3:30 for a 3:00 check-in and our room wasn’t ready, our upgraded premier room had a view of a parking garage, the bedsheets were filthy and smelled like feet (clearly hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests), 23 hours went by without service to the room at all so we had a pile of towels and ran out of tissues, both of us got food poisoning from the lunch at Long Bar (don’t eat the Caesar salads) . . . and this is just to name a few. We wanted to check out immediately upon arrival and they convinced us to stay. Inevitably we checked out the following day and found a much better five star hotel. This hotel is three stars MAX. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

I was impressed the moment the front door was opened for me when I arrived and it contained my whole stay. I was professional greeted each time I arrived or left, was given bottled water on hot days, escorted to the elevator, and had a great experience. The reception desk is on the 17th floor, which is a huge flex when checking in and overlooking the Boston skyline, and it’s next to Long Bar where you can get craft drinks and great food. I had the Whirlpool IPA and a lobsta roll, it was great. The rooms are very modern with some classic decor and amenities, the bathroom was a great size. I also had motorized blinds and shades, it was so fun to use those when I woke up and went to bed. The speakeasy was great too, it’s behind a very non-descript door but opens to two story bar. I would recommend a stay here anytime, it’s hard to believe there’s anything better in Boston.

Very good service. Furniture in all areas and the room is low and petite. Not comfortable. Bedding is comfortable. Food on Long Bar was well prepared. However presentation is pedestrian. Ordered Avacado Toast. Tasty, but arrived on a small plate. No garnish, no fruit etc. overall good stay.

For the price surprised at flaws; TV remote stopped working during night and couldn’t turn off TV, confusing lighting that doesn’t allow individual bedside light to be turned off, only 2 elevators so long wait to go between floors

Excellent hotel. The only thing was that the AC in our room was so loud when turned on that it was unbearable. The hotel did help us move to another room that did not have the problem. We were only there for a night. We will definitely stay again as it is an excellent hotel otherwise.

The service was friendly but very uneven. On our reservation we requested connecting rooms, for our family, which I reiterated when confirming my reservation. Upon check-in they had no notes related to my reservation and not only were the rooms not connected, they were on opposite ends of the floor. Nevertheless, the rooms very nice and comfortable

Beautiful hotel, but layout a little strange. No check in lobby on 1st floor, u have to go up to 17th floor to check in, spa and fitness on 4th floor, my room was on 8th floor. Hallways very loud. Doors are heavy and slam reach time they are closed. Initially very very loud and difficult to rest. Reached out to concierge, they were quick to move meeting to another room, which was quieter. A small but petty thing. TV options were kind of limited. Movies are available. Pretty Woman, with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere available to watch. - come to find out, it's $19.99 to rent and movie can only be seen once. This is a 5 star hotel. Nickel and diming things like movies was a turn off. And $19.99 to rent a movie left me unimpressed and dissatisfied with the hotel.

It took over 10 minutes to check in because two credit card machines in a row didn’t work. My room was not cleaned while I was out from 9a to 3:30p so I came back to a dirty room. Note- I did not have my do not disturb light on. Then when they agreed to come clean it at 4:30, they showed up at 4:05 when I was still in the room trying to rest. Finally, the pool was very substandard for a 5 start hotel/ it was more like a 2-star residence inn. The whole area wreaked of chlorine and it didn’t have any of the ambiance or sleek look one would expect at a top and expensive property. Any new pool should have saline as part of it which eliminates the chlorine smell and should have more money put into the building of the pool and hot tub itself. Very disappointing as a pool for my kids to use was a big reason I chose the hotel. Finally one of the lights in my room kept flickering when it was on. The staff were friendly if over-solicitous. This was a really disappointing stay.

This was an awesome experience! The welcome/checkin process was smooth and filled with warm drinks and smiles. The butler service that Michael provided was above and beyond and made me feel like a queen. The decor is gorgeous and the Blind Duck was a gem. There are only a few things that detracted from my experience. One, there was a cup in the bar in my room that had white powder caked to the bottom. Not a problem as there was more than enough cups/glasses that were clean (as was everything else!). Second, I was awaken at 5:30ish in the morning by a fire alarm and walked down 12 flights of stairs to find out this was a false alarm. Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather not die in a fire, but since this was my only night and I had a late check in I felt like I was unable to take advantage of the hotel’s amenities and was unable to sleep in as I would have hoped/liked to. Again, I understand that safety comes first, but did feel like my stay was tainted by the early morning freak out and trudge down 12 flights of stairs, due to a false alarm. Overall, I would love to stay here again and despite the hefty price I enjoyed the hotel.

I had high expectations since we have been to Raffles Singapore before and after the recent renovations and it is one of our favorite hotels in the world! Glad to say that Raffles Boston did not disappoint. The hotel decor is gorgeous, thoughtfully luxurious in every detail. Location is great. Service is professional but friendly. The room butler is a convenience that cannot be overstated. Also, the first hotel that actually kept the room temperature at 66 F during the whole night. Adios, Four Seasons! Raffles is my new home in Boston.

Not sure I've ever stayed in a more fine and elegant hotel. From the super friendly, professional staff, to the immaculate and beautiful appointments, the Raffles beats them all. I could not believe the service - the very highest standard, where every single person makes you feel welcome, and wants your stay to be the best ever. Turn down service with hand made sweets, wonderful fitness room, Long Bar, where I was able to have coffee with colleagues in town. It was all amazing.

Can only say wonderful things about this fabulous hotel! The Blind Duck speakeasy is not to be missed, the rooms are thoughtful and stylish, bathrooms equipped with Guerlain products, and the best thing of all has to be the exceptional staff! The staff can’t do enough for you and all have super personalities! Great location too! Will return, and will recommend ❤️

This may be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is definitely in the top 5. Great room, great staff, and great restaurants/bars/amenities. It's very walkable to many things Boston, as well!

I could not fault this hotel in any way. After long days out sightseeing and shopping it was great to get back and relax. This was our first time in Boston so we’re not sure which area was best to stay in. However the hotel’s location in Back Bay was excellent.

Everything was a mess from the point of check-in and no matter how many staff members tried to make our experience better, they didn’t fix the root of the issue - they’re severely understaffed. I’ll hit some of the key lowlights: No one helped us with our luggage upon check-in, we arrived at 3:30 for a 3:00 check-in and our room wasn’t ready, our upgraded premier room had a view of a parking garage, the bedsheets were filthy and smelled like feet (clearly hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests), 23 hours went by without service to the room at all so we had a pile of towels and ran out of tissues, both of us got food poisoning from the lunch at Long Bar (don’t eat the Caesar salads) . . . and this is just to name a few. We wanted to check out immediately upon arrival and they convinced us to stay. Inevitably we checked out the following day and found a much better five star hotel. This hotel is three stars MAX. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

I was impressed the moment the front door was opened for me when I arrived and it contained my whole stay. I was professional greeted each time I arrived or left, was given bottled water on hot days, escorted to the elevator, and had a great experience. The reception desk is on the 17th floor, which is a huge flex when checking in and overlooking the Boston skyline, and it’s next to Long Bar where you can get craft drinks and great food. I had the Whirlpool IPA and a lobsta roll, it was great. The rooms are very modern with some classic decor and amenities, the bathroom was a great size. I also had motorized blinds and shades, it was so fun to use those when I woke up and went to bed. The speakeasy was great too, it’s behind a very non-descript door but opens to two story bar. I would recommend a stay here anytime, it’s hard to believe there’s anything better in Boston.

The Blind Duck speakeasy is not to be missed, the rooms are thoughtful and stylish, bathrooms equipped with Guerlain products, and the best thing of all has to be the exceptional staff! The staff can’t do enough for you and all have super personalities! Great location too! Will return, and will recommend ❤️

Very good service. Furniture in all areas and the room is low and petite. Not comfortable. Bedding is comfortable. Food on Long Bar was well prepared. However presentation is pedestrian. Ordered Avacado Toast. Tasty, but arrived on a small plate. No garnish, no fruit etc. overall good stay.

This may be the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is definitely in the top 5. Great room, great staff, and great restaurants/bars/amenities. It's very walkable to many things Boston, as well!

Amazing hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful, attentive to detail and professional. The staff at the Long Bar and Terrace were a different story. We got a table in the evening and no one ever came to us, we ended up standing by the bar and just ordering a drink there. For breakfast, we placed our order and apparently we were forgotten. I had to get up and go look for a staff member. The room was great, but we found body hair in the tub as we arrived. It was taken care of but something to keep in mind.

Not sure I've ever stayed in a more fine and elegant hotel. From the super friendly, professional staff, to the immaculate and beautiful appointments, the Raffles beats them all. I could not believe the service - the very highest standard, where every single person makes you feel welcome, and wants your stay to be the best ever. Turn down service with hand made sweets, wonderful fitness room, Long Bar, where I was able to have coffee with colleagues in town. It was all amazing.

This was an interesting hotel and if you have any experience of the raffles brand elsewhere then I would recommend be prepared. The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. A butler system which I must say working off some mediocre phone prompts just doesn’t cut it . One looses the will to live when saying I need a shaving kit and al you get back is “is there something else I can help you would”- yes you can some recognition of using ChatGPT or Claude prompts would have been better! For the higher end of hotels in boston the food in the long room was also disappointing. If you are meet and meat you’re not able to be accommodated with much inspiration. Vegetables ala zucchini is about it and although the boston favourites of clam chowder and boston cream pie remain I am not sure how well thought out the menu has been, even the word tofu should appear in this day and age! The pool was good and very much accessible and they had a number of hoists next to the pool to allow people with access issues a dip. The jacuzzi was hotter than a flombe but good for your joints I am told as your joints may melt if you are there long enough. I think my main issue is the staff still need to have a bit more understanding and training on what the raffles hospitality and service constitutes. Great place for influencers but lacks the Mature understanding of what it is.
