The heat didnt work, no coffee maker or lobby with coffee. The bed was HORRIBLE. terribly uncomfortable. A couple of flat pillows, and the frame creeked so much that it woke me any time i had to roll over. The staff was friendly enough. There were NO signs of bugs. It wasnt the worst stay but i wouldnt choose it again. It was clean though.

A no frills motel with a friendly clerk and not expensive. Great for one night stop while traveling.

Great no-frills motel on Rt 1 just off 95. Friendly staff, clean room, fairly quiet for the location. There are plenty of options for food and easy access to downtown Fredericksburg. This was a fine place to rest my head for the weekend.

Great for an inexpensive night away. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. Not many services available, but I was ok with that

I reserved here because it was said to be clean and cheap, with responsible managers . . . nothing fancy, but I got exactly that, and I'm satisfied.

It was very clean, but an ashtray on the desk makes me nervous, slight smell lingered. The bed linen felt damp, like another 20 min in the dryer was needed. I got a good rest and moved on.

i didn't like it, the room smelled and there was little bugs flying everywhere, there was a hole in the comforter, the bed sheets had hair on them. the second i got there there was a man on the top floor staring at me the whole entire time, made me very uncomfortable. i didn't even stay the night, turned everything in and left.

The proprietor was very responsive to our requests and helpful getting me signed into the internet. The room was very clean and adequate for our needs. The only thing was the fire alarm went off three separate times, very briefly between 2 and 3 am. We left very early, around 5 am, and did not speak with the owners. I would definitely stay there again but would report the fire alarm if it happened again.

Personal hygiene, towels for 2, and surfaces were not cleaned thoroughly.

Attending annual competition from out of town. We prefer to come the night before in lieu of 2 hour drive at crack of dawn before competing. Want clean sleep at great price and thats what we got! We've had problems with roach infestations at other motels in this area and dread coming. Happy to have found this place! Also found a great little local diner for a hearty breakfast before the meet.

When I’m staying at any place, I mainly just want it to be clean. No bugs or stains, and the bed, shower, and toilet need to be spotless and smelling fresh. This place definitely met my standards. I was pleasantly surprised for a cheaper motel. I will probably stay here again while I’m traveling through Virginia.

Shower was moldy in the grout. New tile floor was nice but 2-3 different types of tile in shower looked ratchet. Many tiles broken and glued back together. Water was not very hot. Doors were rusted through at the locking mechanism. Gaps all around outside door let in lots of cold air. Heaters were also badly rusted. It was kinda gross. Clean but ghetto

I'll start with my only complaint--I asked to extend my stay by one night and asked if the rate of $50 would be the same for the second night. I was told "yes," the rate would be the same--that simple. Needless to say, I was very disappointed when the bill was $75 for that night--I was lied to, and that really disappointed me. The manager told me that the person on the desk doesn't understand English too well--that doesn't change things, does it? If a person is tending the desk, they should call the manager if they don't understand something. Worse still, the manager did NOT offer to honor the rate quoted to me--I was told $50 and was charged $75. This on the highway motel is clean, but there's a lot of traffic noise. Wifi is not password protected! My frig was broken.

Correct for the price, no carpet which was really appreciated, Little noisy because Closer to the main road (we were at the corner) No pressure in the toilet(should be repair) Air conditionner works well)

The room is small and basic but very clean. The curtains didn't cover the window well enough to keep the room dark with a light right outside the door. The doors were hard to close so slamming doors and the light made it hard to sleep.

Don't let the check-in attendant place you in Room 23. This hotel should not be renting this room at the same price as others, if at all. It sits atop the check-in office, and it is the closest room to the busy roadway beside the hotel. While the hotel can not control traffic, the door to Room 23 has a 1-inch vertical gap and another 1-inch opening on the bottom of the door that permits sound like an open window (and surely a warm welcome to rodents). Because of these massive air gaps, you will hear every vroom and pothole as if you were sleeping directly on the asphalt. In addition, a large and blinding 24/7 fluorescent light shines directly overhead Room 23, and the curtains don't block it. I woke up several times thinking it was 7am, due to "daylight" breaking in. Between the loud roadway noise coming in from the "open" door and fluorescent light, get ready for an awful and sleepless night. Worse, the front desk offers no customer service, discount, or even an apology for such a problematic room. Ahhhh, but hotel staff is very well aware that Room 23 is a problem--the check-out attendant had an auto-rehearsed claim that he couldn't control traffic *and* no other single rooms were available at check-in, but untrue. They just want to fill that one first and will lie about it. A low budget hotel stay can still be a positive, but the female check-in attendant's lack of integrity in renting that room and no professionalism(no hello, just a snatch of license) made lowbrow.

Everything was ok except the refrigerator didn’t work. When I was making sure I had all my belongings I heard it come on. But he did offer to move to another room up stairs but, I have a bad back and didn’t want to climb stairs so I refused it. An I also didn’t like how the door looked like it was kicked in. But I put the chair up to it.

Yup. I ended up staying here again for about a week while I was looking for an apartment in the area. Very pleasant stay. I was really impressed when I saw one of the owners out in front of the building spraying bug spray down near the walkway in front of the doors, mainly because I had NEVER seen a motel owner giving that kind of care to their property. Most of them are happy to do the bare minimum. Heck, roaches and bed bugs are almost the norm at these kinds of places. I didn't see any bugs at all between my two stays here. Toilet, shower, bed, microwave, and fridge all looked very clean. Owners were nice. Rooms were reasonably quiet for being right off the highway. Price was good/great. And there were plenty of places to eat nearby. What more could you ask for in a motel? Highly pleased with my stay here.
