Royal Inn Midvale

Can’t beat the price! Staff was friendly, room was clean, area is great. Would recommend for a simple stay!

This is not a fancy “destination” hotel, but it is quite adequate as a place to sleep, which is all we wanted. Unlike another place we stayed recently, it had plenty of hot water. It was in a good part of town - it felt safe, and there appeared to be dining establishments nearby. (We didn’t need them.)

Parking in the back of the building was not safe since there were no lights and lots of people hanging out back there. The back door was never locked since they had a rag stuffed in it for people to come and go. We didn't feel safe and would not stay here again.

Staff was awesome & my room was clean & in good condition. The room was VERY small (single king) & there wasn’t a closet. The bathroom was a decent size though. There was a nice little fridge, & a little single cup coffee maker, but no microwave. The TV remote worked the first night, but stopped working after that. It’s in a busy, but nice area. There was always decent parking available, but on Saturday morning the lot was VERY very full. It could be a problem on a weekend if you came in very late. It wasn’t the quietest stay I’ve had, but I’ve stayed at louder places. The bed was comfortable enough, & the linens are what you would expect for the price. I never felt unsafe, (single female traveling with a service dog) but definitely made sure I brought anything of value in from the parking lot/my car. It’s a very good value if you just need a decent/clean place to sleep at night.
