Bottom of feet got black walking barefoot on carpet. Toilet seat didn't match the toilet, toilet was oval and the seat was round. Big Crack in the bathroom sink. Tub had cracks and chunks (was old). Noisy you can hear people outside. The whole place was run down, the elevator sounded like it was on it's last leg.

This place is pretty gross. The carpet is stained, there was finger nail polish all over the window bench, bugs in the bathroom, and the shower was disgusting. The doors weren’t locked and there were a lot of questionable people hanging around the property. Don’t stay here.

This facility was dirty and very unsafe. Broken shower rods, light fixtures stolen and not replaced. I would never recommend this hotel. The back door was broken and remained open all night. Horrible!

The floors were sticky in the bathroom. Carpet also dirty. Things were broken and unmaintained throughout the building. Very run down. Washer didn’t work. Staff didn’t even offer to return money washer took. Smell of incense used by staff permeated the building. Regret staying.

Front desk attendance burns inscents and is hardly ever there. If you have a problem he won’t try to fix it, just tells you that you will have to speak with a manager. Rooms are dirty and stained. I got bug bites. They will tell you that everything is under renovation, there is not crew there working on any such thing. Do not stay here. Sleeping in your car feels like a better option.

The staff was friendly, but the walls are thin and there was a lot of pounding noises each night for different reasons. The mattress was not good; saggy with feeling the springs. I bought a 1" memory foam to put on it to make sleeping there tolerable. The back door had a torn out lock and the room closet was missing half a door

Over all a fairly nice place. Rooms are nicely appointed , carpet looked fairly fresh, choice of wood and Mountain theme made the room look cozy. Hallways are in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. Great location, close to everything. A lot are within walking distance. Both the Owner and his wife are in site, and very pleasant to work with. Will stay here again in the future and recommend to friends in the future for Ski Trips in the Winter months.

I am not picky. This hotel was absolutely filthy. Sheer disgust. Think of the grossest gas station bathroom and make it into a hotel room. Walked in and the window was shattered from a baseball. Smelt like someone took a Clorox wipe and wiped everything down with the same 1 wipe. So so so filthy. Walked in. Cried. Then left. Did not stay more than 10 minutes. Surrounding area seemed safe and fine.

The room had filthy curtains and a filthy bay window cushion. There was a broken and missing drawer under the bay window, filthy carpet, several cigarette burns in the bathroom sink, and no bed skirt. We used to stop here on our way across the country, but this will be our last time. The property has gone downhill since our last visit (2 years ago) and our room was very dirty. We arrived very late and had to wait for quite a while to check in, because the front desk agent was arguing with another guest about the cleanliness of his room. Overall it was a place to stop for a quick sleep, but won’t be returning.

They didn’t check the room before I checked in, room had stains, crumbs under the fridge, stains on bed sheets, stains on walls and bathroom walls, shower tub was not clean, sink had stains. Holes on the wall and had one hole that had toilet paper in it. Missing door on cabinet. Asked for refund didn’t give me any and made excuses. Only got deposit back, front desk worker complained that I went to complain about the room.

The A.C. unit in the room was very loud. To the point we turned it off. It still was loud and blowing cold air. So we unplugged it. Alao we dont like the fact the deposit is withdrawn from your account and takes 5-7 businesses days for a refund

Pillows were not great. Carpet and duvet had stains. Walls had stains. Tv aspect ratio was off and only saw a portion of the picture. As for the bathroom hairdryer broken, toilet lid broken, shower rod broken. Long and hallways had a smell.

Clearly a refurbished Super 8, not in great condition but clean enough. Bed was rock hard and there were noisy guests pretty much all night. Loud music, yelling, and paper thin walls. If you’re only staying for one night, the price is good and you could probably deal with it. But I would not recommend.

Bottom line I've come back but the service is bad to hostile. They insist on a $100 cash deposit (which you can get from a machine for $3.) I bet most people don't realize they are paying 10% more. Woman was resistant to give a receipt and even count it back. They should just raise the prices. Pricing equal it is not as good as nearby Extended Stay America but better than nearby Econolodge.

The lady that checked me in was horrible. Her attitude was bad. I checked in and she demanded a $100 deposit in cash. Treated me like dirt. I've stayed here several times. Location is fine. Condition is decent. And the price is very good. Only issue is desk help. Not a lot of love. They also want a $100 cash only deposit. Owner in the day was a lot nicer and didn't even check the room before giving me back my deposit.

Upon check-in having already paid, the woman on the desk (complete miserable SOAB) no empathy or compassion insisted there is a $100 Cash deposit, to some folks this won't be an issue but as a non national, lifting cash comes with extras fees, there was no way around it. Use the machine onsite and be charged $3 fee plus my cash withdraw fees comes to about $8 total on top for a basic hotel. The hotel is in a decent location but is poor quality and not very well kept. For these reasons I have avoided this brand on my ongoing trip. Old lady on the desk should be let go, clearly her decent days are behind her.

Royal Inn is situated so it is very convenient for our Salt Lake City plans. The manager was friendly and very accommodating. The property is old. Unfortunately some guests are not careful with their trash but that did not affect our stay. We will come again.

This hotel has a great location. It is not clean around the baseboards in the bathroom. it was quiet. It was the cheapest in the area and had a good bed and good bathrooms. The parking lot was safe and had easy access to rooms. It was a good budget hotel.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures! I booked 2 rooms in one reservation and it said adjoining rooms available upon request. I don't think they know the definition of adjoining rooms. At least we got ADJACENT rooms. The photos online showed a complimentary breakfast bar but hotel staff said that it was "part of the old place" and nothing else. The place reeked of marijuana the second we walked in the front doors despite being a distinctly non-smoking hotel. They demanded $100 cash deposit *per room* upon check-in with no prior communication about having cash and we ended up having to use an ATM. One room had a missing cushion on the window seat and a weird plastic piece in the door to where the door wouldn't click shut without pulling it out. Both rooms were grungy, not at all like the photos. The other room had missing cabinet doors, and the lights in the main room flickered on and off and wouldn't turn back on for at least 45 minutes at a time. There was USED toilet paper shoved in the peephole from the inside and the latch lock was BROKEN! This place was absolutely horrible and we will never be returning!

The property smelled of smoke, weed, but mostly it was thick with incense, so much that my room on the top floor was near uninhabitable. And we couldn't open a window because the screen was broken out. No breakfast or spa as advertised. Its all storage.

Nothing special about this hotel except no breakfast like advertised dining room was used as storage room and no hot tub either like advertised and they assumed my daughter was a hooker because she would come in after she got off of work at about 8 or 9:00 in the evening not very appreciated

I have stayed here before. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, so was surprised when they had a safe, microwave, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the rooms.

The photos on Expedia showed a continental breakfast, but when we arrived, the front desk said they didn't serve breakfast anymore. The app also said the hotel was less than 10 miles from the airport, it was almost 18 miles from the airport. We were road weary and decided to stay anyway because we didn't want to hassle with trying to get a refund and book a room elsewhere. We then got settled in our room and went to get ice, only to find the ice machine was out of order. We were traveling with my mother who has dementia, so again, it would have been too much trouble to move to another location and get her upset. Imagine our surprise when the coffee maker also didn't work in the morning!! All in all, I would give our experience with the Royal Inn, a zero star if it were possible! The Royal Inn was a Royal Pain!

The sheets were stained, so I took them off and then the mattress cover was stained so I called the office to get clean sheets, and I ended up bringing my own blankets. There was a sun area next to the window that cushion was all shredded. The bathroom was dirty. The shower walls were smudged with black substance.. The fan in the bathroom was crusted over with dust, and there was no cover over it. Then the following day we got checked in to a new hotel room and even though it says it’s a non-smoking hotel the room that we got checked into smelled like cigarette smoke so they give us a different room. In that different room, same scenario with the bedding. In the bathroom, the shower faucet wasn’t flushed with the wall so as the shower turned on, it just ran down into the wall. You can see the copper piping..

The internet was awful. The tv had the network Chanel’s only. There was no closet in my room. No where to hang my clothes. I had to ask for a microwave and they did bring me a very old one without a turn table. Because of the plugs I had to unplug the fridge when using the microwave. They are upgrading and you can see they are working on things. They did have a new clean mattress. They did hav good air condition but the walls are very thin!!!

Parking was easy. Check in was easy. Checking out was easy. The air conditioner worked well. The staff were not that welcoming and friendly. The bed was hard. There was no closet. The staff came in and took out the trash, but did not make the beds. We thought we had clean towels because they were folded, but in fact they were just our towels we had used folded (footprint on the towel from prior). The shower didn’t drain while taking a shower so you were standing in your own dirty water. When we looked at the drain, it was disgusting with hair and gunk built up in it.
