We coordinated this weekend to participate in a Girls Volleyball Tournament. We were three moms traveling with our teen daughters. The hosts were very detailed in the information provided, responded quickly to any inquiries, and went way above and beyond when asked for recommendations for local attractions and food. The "unit" is easy to find, very clean, and well equipped. We drove to Boston, but used the subway to travel; it\'s a 30 second walk. The stairs inside the unit are tight, but manageable. If water pressure and/or mattress comfort matter to you... you will not be disappointed. They also don\'t have a long list of "chores" to be done before leaving. Five stars, and they earned them all! There\'s not a garage or assigned parking, so it was a challenge. (not a dig on the hosts or the unit, just a planning point) I would absolutely stay again, the location is everything, and the hosts were amazing!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It’s a very quick trip from the airport and easy to get to. We did find parking on the street for some of our stay and used the public parking for the rest. The house is comfortable with very nice appliances (full-sized washer and dryer were very appreciated). The stairs, as mentioned, were steep but we got the hang of them after a bit. We took advantage of the kitchen and living area a lot. Location is very convenient. Loved the very short walk to the T stop - went into Boston almost every day - and we had a nice Christmas stroll to Pier Park. As stated, there are shops, restaurants and banks right in the area. One of the best things about our stay was how easy it was to contact the hosts. We had one minor issue, texted the hosts and they took care of it immediately. They made sure we were taken care of, which was reassuring. We had a nice stay and are glad we stayed here.

Super easy to get to everything and the place was very clean! Please read the description carefully as it is very steep stairs and the parking is limited. Only downside for me was no coffee available, no standard shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer. The mattress pad use underneath the sheets made it really hot to sleep. I tried sleeping on top of the blankets but it still didn’t help. Perhaps a mattress pad that breathes a little better would be a better option. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! The place was pretty quiet, clean, spacious and the host was very responsive.

The property was immaculate and the listing is accurate. Be sure to read about the narrow stairways. :) I parked my car in the Liverpool lot about .5 mile away. It worked really well since I left it there until we left Boston.It is close to restaurants and public transportation. It's a great location.

Perfect spot for a pre cruise visit in Boston. Neighborhood was safe and clean. The apartment was spotless. Near the blue line for easy access to downtown. The stairs are very steep and narrow. Pack light or have someone able to carry up the stairs for you. The owners were great to work with. I would definitely stay again if traveling to Boston.

The apt was clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We appreciated all of the host’s suggestions for nearby restaurants and transportation. Due to the Sumner tunnel closure we used the free ferry at Long wharf to travel to Boston. It was very convenient. There are 2 flights of extremely narrow, winding stairs used To access both floors of the apt. If you have large heavy luggage or coolers the stairs are very challenging. Finding On street parking close by takes a bit of luck, but it can be accomplished. We did not move the car for 1 1/2 days and did not get ticketed. !

We were so close to the Maverick station on the T. 22 for the 7 day CharliePass. Sooo worth it. We rented a car for one day (from airport rental center, 1 T stop away) to go to Plymouth area. Otherwise got around great on the T. I wouldn’t have wanted to try to find parking in the area. The listing indicates the struggle a bit so believe it. Apartment is super clean and quirky. It worked great for us but any mobility issues would cause difficulty with uneven floors and stairs. The stairs are as described-narrow and add in a twist at the bottom of each along with small steps, you have to be careful. Things we loved: kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry on main floor, cubbies for moving in for the week, location to T. Restaurants- Los Alebrijes Mexican restaurant, 7-11 around the corner for sundry items.Things we didn’t love: plastic mattress covers on 2 of three beds-think plastic shower curtain liner…this has been in reviews before so expected it was taken care of. Contacted host and they advised we could remove it after 1 poor night’s sleep. D’Parma restaurant-We did take out, didn’t touch the leftovers. Street isn’t particularly cute and trash along curb edges, some people hanging around doorsteps smoking and looking unkempt occasionally but no one bothered us, we felt pretty safe.Overall a good stay! We had slow mornings and got in late. Suited us well for 2 couples vacationing!

We loved the location and appreciated the proximity to the subway and airport. Unfortunately there is no designated parking and street parking on the weekends is very limited… the closest street parking we could find was 2 1/2 blocks away (kind of a bummer with a family of 4 and lots of luggage). I really should have read the reviews in advance… the stairs are narrow and steep so my teenager with a recent ACL replacement struggled slightly. The sloped floors would have been irritating for any engineer that stays here but we were grateful that the beds were arranged with the feet sloping down so it worked for us. Grocery shopping was only a15 minute walk away and we appreciated the extra waters left by the owner since water is heavy to carry. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. Overall we enjoyed our stay but

We had a super time in this apartment. One bedroom on middle floor with kitchen, dining, and living room. Two bedrooms are on top floor and face the street. We had no issues, but make sure everyone in your party can climb narrow, steep stairs. VERY clean! Shower on top floor is small; shower/tub combo on middle floor. Never seen keypads embedded within door knobs before. We LOVED it that we weren’t required to wash towels, start dishwasher, or strip beds. Much appreciated!!

Accurate description found on the listing. Location to subway blue line is super convenient, neighborhood is "real" not touristy, access to unit is secured. The apartment is charming and clean with comfortable space for 5 adults. It's an old building and has its quirks like a narrow and steep staircase and tilted floors that heavy luggage will slide on, but it adds to the charm of the unit in the best way. The hosts are super hosts! Communicated easily and answered all questions we had. Check out was simple, no elaborate checklist. Boston was a great trip and a lovely town, thanks in part to this great little stay.I will book again when I return.

We had an excellent two nights stay. The property is very spacey, clean and we felt directly at home. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning were really great. Some shops and restaurants are around the corner. It is only one station from the airport away, which is perfect after a long flight. Also Boston downtown can be reached in 1-2 metro stops. The waterfront (with a stunning view of Boston skyline) and access to the waterways is also great. Last but not least I need to underline the friendliness and quick responsiveness of the owners. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would do it again when we come back to Boston one day.

Nicely updated and very clean home. Homeowners provide many extra amenities and location was perfect for travel on the T. Cool coffee shop right around the corner. We took the train to Boston and used the subway to get around with no problem.Went to Fenway, Harvard and everywhere in between.

Nice and clean, with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, nice towels. Nice well stocked kitchen with big dining table. Great coffee! Good communication from host. There are narrow spiral stairs from the street entry up to the first floor living area and 1 bedroom, and also to the next floor, where there are 2 bedrooms and the second bathroom. Don’t bring large suitcases. We enjoyed our quick overnight stay near Maverick Station. Super easy airport access!

This was a great home base if you are exploring Boston. With a short block to the T station, we were able to return our rental car early and get around on public transportation easily. We would encourage public transportation as there are times the street parking can be hard to find and some streets have a limited length of time allowed. There were several days we came home in the late afternoon for a break and were able to find many great restaurants for dinner later. There is a Walgreens and a grocery story in walkable distance as well. The home was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the kitchen was well stocked. Even though we were in town during a particularly hot spell, the window air conditioners did a nice job of keeping the space cool. Be aware if you have mobility issues that this is a 2nd and 3rd floor unit and the stairs are a little tight.

There were several days we came home in the late afternoon for a break and were able to find many great restaurants for dinner later. There is a Walgreens and a grocery story in walkable distance as well. The home was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the kitchen was well stocked. Even though we were in town during a particularly hot spell, the window air conditioners did a nice job of keeping the space cool. Be aware if you have mobility issues that this is a 2nd and 3rd floor unit and the stairs are a little tight.

Super easy to get to everything and the place was very clean! Please read the description carefully as it is very steep stairs and the parking is limited. Only downside for me was no coffee available, no standard shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer. The mattress pad use underneath the sheets made it really hot to sleep. I tried sleeping on top of the blankets but it still didn’t help. Perhaps a mattress pad that breathes a little better would be a better option. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! The place was pretty quiet, clean, spacious and the host was very responsive.

We loved the location and appreciated the proximity to the subway and airport. Unfortunately there is no designated parking and street parking on the weekends is very limited… the closest street parking we could find was 2 1/2 blocks away (kind of a bummer with a family of 4 and lots of luggage). I really should have read the reviews in advance… the stairs are narrow and steep so my teenager with a recent ACL replacement struggled slightly. The sloped floors would have been irritating for any engineer that stays here but we were grateful that the beds were arranged with the feet sloping down so it worked for us. Grocery shopping was only a15 minute walk away and we appreciated the extra waters left by the owner since water is heavy to carry. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. Boston can be expensive to eat out and stay. This VRBO was exactly what my family needed. We have 5 kids and my cousins lived in North but in a small apartment. This place has an awesome kitchen with plenty of stuff to make our meals. Big kitchen table with plenty of seating for everyone. It rained a bunch on the weekend and having access to laundry was also clutch.

Our stay was very nice! The apartment was cozy and comfortable! All necessary amenities plus some nice added extras were provided! Jon and Daise were in touch with us quickly throughout the entire time prior to our stay, during our stay, and after! We would definitely stay here again:)

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It’s a very quick trip from the airport and easy to get to. We did find parking on the street for some of our stay and used the public parking for the rest. The house is comfortable with very nice appliances (full-sized washer and dryer were very appreciated). The stairs, as mentioned, were steep but we got the hang of them after a bit. We took advantage of the kitchen and living area a lot. Location is very convenient. Loved the very short walk to the T stop - went into Boston almost every day - and we had a nice Christmas stroll to Pier Park. As stated, there are shops, restaurants and banks right in the area. One of the best things about our stay was how easy it was to contact the hosts. We had one minor issue, texted the hosts and they took care of it immediately. They made sure we were taken care of, which was reassuring. We had a nice stay and are glad we stayed here.

A beautiful townhome that was prefect for our stay in Boston. Myself along with 4 of my buddies stayed here for 2 days while in town for birthday celebrations. The property was exactly as advertised. The location and convenience to the subway ( T Blue Line ) was extremely beneficial. Located in a nice neighbirhood with restaurants and a convenient store located literally right around the corner. Jon was very prompt with responding to any questions i may have had along with a very smooth check in process. Inside the home was very clean and had everything we needed. I would absolutely reccomend this place to anyone coming to visit Boston as I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

This property is located just one block from the Maverick blue line. It is exactly as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed the local bakery every morning. Jon was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before check in. Always answered my calls and texts in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy access to the city. Good communication from host. Only MINOR issue - the stairs getting up to the unit are very narrow and steep. So, if you have large heavy luggage, it is a bit difficult. Also, if you have any type of walking issues due to your feet or knees, it is slightly challenging. But overall, we were very happy with the unit and would come back again .

Prior reviews said it all, this location was the perfect spot for our needs - frequent travel by rail all throughout Boston. We took a quick Uber to and from the airport with ease and we’re delighted to enjoy the local restaurants and little market from the rental in Eastside Boston by foot. We had a wonderful time and made many many memories- would definitely recommend this rental!

Clean, quiet and everything we needed. Train station in next block very convenient. Only marked 4 stars as wished we had more pillows in each bedroom and shower upstairs very small.

We would encourage public transportation as there are times the street parking can be hard to find and some streets have a limited length of time allowed. Perfect spot for a pre cruise visit in Boston. Neighborhood was safe and clean. The apartment was spotless. Near the blue line for easy access to downtown. The stairs are very steep and narrow. Pack light or have someone able to carry up the stairs for you. The owners were great to work with. I would definitely stay again if traveling to Boston.

Great location. Go 2 blocks to the water front harbor walk even if you plan to spend most time on the other side of Boston. Best communication I’ve had from any vbro. Nice place, with good updates. You will have steep, narrow steps between floors. Never heard any outside noise. Felt safe in neighborhood, even at night. Would stay here again. It’s likely less expensive than NorthEnd options and equally convenient with the subway steps away.

Nicely updated and very clean home. Homeowners provide many extra amenities and location was perfect for travel on the T. Cool coffee shop right around the corner. We took the train to Boston and used the subway to get around with no problem.Went to Fenway, Harvard and everywhere in between.

We loved staying at this property. Jon was very responsive when I had questions. The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is perfect- only one block from the MBTA train, and one stop away from Quincy Market/Aquarium and the Airport going the other direction. I’d definitely stay here again if we’re in Boston.

However, upon arrival, the subway line was down due to an electrical issue, so we opted for Uber for the rest of our trip, which ended up working better for our plans. The space was quiet and perfect for relaxation after a long day. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the full kitchen, stocked with plenty of supplies, was very useful. Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were always helpful and responsive. There are numerous restaurants, bars, and convenience stores within walking distance. We highly recommend La Sultana Bakery for a fantastic café and bakery experience in the morning. Overall, we would definitely consider staying here again.

A beautiful townhome that was prefect for our stay in Boston. Myself along with 4 of my buddies stayed here for 2 days while in town for birthday celebrations. The property was exactly as advertised. The location and convenience to the subway ( T Blue Line ) was extremely beneficial. Located in a nice neighbirhood with restaurants and a convenient store located literally right around the corner. Jon was very prompt with responding to any questions i may have had along with a very smooth check in process. Inside the home was very clean and had everything we needed. I would absolutely reccomend this place to anyone coming to visit Boston as I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

The apartment was the perfect location. The blue line transit was so convenient. The apartment was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen was well stocked and a great size for our family too. The AC in each room was nice and cool. The beds were pretty comfortable. For the price of the apartment and what it would’ve cost to do a hotel, this apartment was perfect! Excellent location to a bakery for breakfast, coffee shop for coffee, 7-11 for snacks, transit for transportation, places to eat, and an excellent walk to the water to see a pretty view. It was just a great spot!

We were so close to the Maverick station on the T. 22 for the 7 day CharliePass. Sooo worth it. We rented a car for one day (from airport rental center, 1 T stop away) to go to Plymouth area. Otherwise got around great on the T. I wouldn’t have wanted to try to find parking in the area. The listing indicates the struggle a bit so believe it. Apartment is super clean and quirky. It worked great for us but any mobility issues would cause difficulty with uneven floors and stairs. The stairs are as described-narrow and add in a twist at the bottom of each along with small steps, you have to be careful. Things we loved: kitchen, 2 bathrooms, laundry on main floor, cubbies for moving in for the week, location to T. Restaurants- Los Alebrijes Mexican restaurant, 7-11 around the corner for sundry items.Things we didn’t love: plastic mattress covers on 2 of three beds-think plastic shower curtain liner…this has been in reviews before so expected it was taken care of. Contacted host and they advised we could remove it after 1 poor night’s sleep. D’Parma restaurant-We did take out, didn’t touch the leftovers. Street isn’t particularly cute and trash along curb edges, some people hanging around doorsteps smoking and looking unkempt occasionally but no one bothered us, we felt pretty safe.Overall a good stay! We had slow mornings and got in late. Suited us well for 2 couples vacationing!

This property is located just one block from the Maverick blue line. It is exactly as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed the local bakery every morning. Jon was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived before check in. Always answered my calls and texts in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent two nights stay. The property is very spacey, clean and we felt directly at home. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning were really great. Some shops and restaurants are around the corner. It is only one station from the airport away, which is perfect after a long flight. Also Boston downtown can be reached in 1-2 metro stops. The waterfront (with a stunning view of Boston skyline) and access to the waterways is also great. Last but not least I need to underline the friendliness and quick responsiveness of the owners. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would do it again when we come back to Boston one day.

Nicely updated and very clean home. Homeowners provide many extra amenities and location was perfect for travel on the T. Cool coffee shop right around the corner. We took the train to Boston and used the subway to get around with no problem.Went to Fenway, Harvard and everywhere in between.

Boston can be expensive to eat out and stay. This VRBO was exactly what my family needed. We have 5 kids and my cousins lived in North but in a small apartment. This place has an awesome kitchen with plenty of stuff to make our meals. Big kitchen table with plenty of seating for everyone. It rained a bunch on the weekend and having access to laundry was also clutch.

The location was decent. It is very closed to Maverick Station T stop, and is only one stop from the airport and one stop from Downtown Boston. The property was very clean and very reasonably priced. I do think the photos make it look a bit nicer than it actually is. It is a bit challenging to get your luggage up the small, winding staircases, and the finishes feel more like a college apartment. We spent very little time there, it gave our family the space we needed, and overall our needs were met.

This property worked great for our quick getaway to catch a game at Fenway park and tour Boston. The property was so clean, organized and an absolutely great location. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the Maverick station of the T subway, and then only 1 stop into downtown Boston. We easily found street parking in front of the property on the first night, then used the SpotHero app to get a parking spot in the Liverpool lot, which was about a 10 minute walk from the property. Our group of 4 women did not have any problem with the narrow stairs. The hosts were great and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip!

It was clean, and the location was good. Also, it had obviously been remodeled. Plus, it had a washer and dryer which helped us. For these reasons we give it two stars. BUT, it is a very vertical building, and undisclosed in the ad was the fact that it has two very narrow, steep staircases, one up to the main level, and one up to the second floor bedrooms, both of which take two 45 -degree turns where the stairs are just triangles. Parts of these stairways have no handrails or anything to hold on to. We had to maneuver our large bags up these stairs. In addition, and weirdly, all of the floors are on a slant, throwing off your balance and making the beds all aslant. It is like being in a funhouse room where you are trying to keep your balance. The bookcase at the top of the stairs showed about two inches between the base of it and the wall, and about 6 inches at the top! Likewise in the kitchen between the top of the kitchen cabinets and the ceiling. The worst of it was that we had made clear to the owners that we were going to be four seniors renting the place, and they never mentioned the stairs or the askew floors. It’s as if the whole unit has shifted to a tilt. We don’t know how the renovations ever passed building code. In addition to the above, the parking situation is impossible. That WAS disclosed by the ad. It was a pain. We would never rent this place again, nor do we recommend anyone else do so. You can find a better one.
