The rooms in the great house were spacious and had great views. The breakfast was also really great, but we did not like the coffee which is a big deal for us but we found a good cafe in town. The terrace restaurant had great food, great views, great service. The mermaid for lunch was ok and the service wasn’t great. We had a great time on St Croix and we would stay at the Buccaneer again.

Expect to pay an additional $200 per night for taxes and energy fee. Property is beautiful but hilly so a lot of walking although a shuttle is available. Room was adequate good bedding but bathroom in need of serious updates and shower did not work well. Food choices at night limited as they rotate restaurants and very expensive. Complimentary breakfast was nice . Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice private beaches.
