Very nice place nestled into "the rocks". Family owned and very nice service. Google took us up a very very steep and narrow street double check your way in. You want to enter the property from the road on the Kalampaka side and NOT the narrow street from the Kastraki side!

Quaint little place in a pretty setting. Driving in is tight. Easy walk to local tavernas which were great. Family run- and so pleasant! We really enjoyed it.

This property is family owned. It is at the foot of Meteora. There is parking in front of the hotel. The restaurant are at a walking distance. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is freshly made, delicious!

The staff here are wonderful and the location couldn’t be better. They contacted us prior to our arrival to meet us and welcome us. It felt like they were welcoming us into their home. This place is nestled up on a hill so you overlook the town but are a 5 minute walk to everything. Loved it!! Breakfast was delicious on their beautiful lawn. Highly recommend!! Plus you have your own balcony to enjoy the view as well.

Very cute place close to the nature. Super host. Simple but very good breakfast. Driving is a bit challenging if you are not comfortable with very narrow roads around the area.

Very nice place convenient walkable area. A little tricky to get to because of the small road. I was driving a small car so it was not too bad. Property has parking on site. Delicious breakfast and quiet area with breathtaking view of the mountains. Owners were really nice and helpful.

We loved our stay at Archontiko Mesohori! Our suite was spacious, spotless, and had an unforgettable view of Meteora. The hosts were incredibly kind and helped us organize a tour, which made our trip even better. Perfect location, peaceful atmosphere, and true Greek hospitality. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay. Helpful, accommodating and friendly staff. Adequate breakfast but nothing special. Comfortable rooms — there was a cat smell upon initially entering the room but that became innocuous after a few minutes. Kastraki was the right call over Kalambaka. Beautifully situated property once you find it. Easy to recommend to other travelers looking for a guest house experience that is comfortable, friendly, authentic if just a little rough around the edges.

The hotel is more like a bed and breakfast. It is operated by a family of 4 and they are very friendly and accommodating. The place is spotless and the rooms are very comfortable. The location is to live for. Breakfast is served every morning with a nice selection of foods. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Great little family run hotel right at the bottom of the rock. The host and the staff is super nice , the hotel building is old so don’t expect getting some new modern room but the owner done an excellent job for making this little hotel clean and very welcoming . I would come back again to stay.

Wasn't expecting a lot as this is a small town. The hotel was functional. We had one bedroom apartment suite and it was quite spacious. The grounds of the hotel were really nice and the view was amazing. People were really nice and helpful. The only issue we had was the firewood smoke smell that lingered around. We opened up windows and sprayed some deo around to make it better. IT also got stuff as the AC was in the hallway so we left the room doors open.

A very unique property that does not fit any criteria neatly. Our room has a separate dining room and basic kitchen. Yes the property is old but it’s not tired. It is family run with great pride. And what a location right under the rocks of Meteora and within walking distance of three of the monasteries for those who are ready for the steps. You do need nerves of steel to drive up the narrow streets to get to the hotel!

Lovely traditional family hotel. Very clean with nice, friendly service. Breakfast was acceptable but basic. The hotel is set right against the Meteora rocks and has a stunning view of the landscape. One thing to know is that it is at the far end of Kastraki and you will need to descend a fairly steep hill for meals or to get to the town. It’s maybe a 10 minute walk but is quite steep.

The location is spectacular - right up against the rocks. The owner/host is incredibly hospitable. He arranged/recommended a tour that picked us up at the hotel and took us to the monasteries so we didn't have to do the drive ourselves. The building is old but updated with modern comforts, so it's historical and comfortable at the same time.

Absolutely amazing location. Wonderful silence at nigh. Pitch black skies and amazing stars. Loved it. We didn’t have a rental car, so we walked to the restaurant area: steeply down down down and then steeply up up up. But that was fun and we paused to admire many homes, and trees along the way (and resting our legs). I’d stay there again.

He arranged/recommended a tour that picked us up at the hotel and took us to the monasteries so we didn't have to do the drive ourselves. The building is old but updated with modern comforts, so it's historical and comfortable at the same time.

The staff here are wonderful and the location couldn’t be better. They contacted us prior to our arrival to meet us and welcome us. It felt like they were welcoming us into their home. This place is nestled up on a hill so you overlook the town but are a 5 minute walk to everything. Loved it!! Breakfast was delicious on their beautiful lawn. Highly recommend!! Plus you have your own balcony to enjoy the view as well.

Wonderful quiet location, a bit far from the main city center but it worked for us because we had a car. Lovely area to walk around in tge morning, among the cliffs.

Very nice place convenient walkable area. A little tricky to get to because of the small road. I was driving a small car so it was not too bad. Property has parking on site. Delicious breakfast and quiet area with breathtaking view of the mountains. Owners were really nice and helpful.

Beautiful little hotel with a location that has to be seen to be believed. The garden looks as though it was plucked out of a fairly tale. Friendly staff and pretty good breakfast.

Lovely traditional family hotel. Very clean with nice, friendly service. Breakfast was acceptable but basic. The hotel is set right against the Meteora rocks and has a stunning view of the landscape. One thing to know is that it is at the far end of Kastraki and you will need to descend a fairly steep hill for meals or to get to the town. It’s maybe a 10 minute walk but is quite steep.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, nur wenn man eine Woche dort ist wird das Frühstück doch etwas eintönig. Es gab die ganze Woche immer die gleiche Wurst- und Käsesorte. Also keinerlei Abwechslung. Und die Bemerkung beim DeLuxe Zimmer, dass es Bergblick gibt ist doch leicht übertrieben. Wenn man sich entsprechend verdreht kann man einen Berggipfel sehen. Aber trotzdem wie bereits gesagt, eine sehr schöne und gut gelegene Unterkunft.

Lovely stay. Helpful, accommodating and friendly staff. Adequate breakfast but nothing special. Comfortable rooms — there was a cat smell upon initially entering the room but that became innocuous after a few minutes. Kastraki was the right call over Kalambaka. Beautifully situated property once you find it. Easy to recommend to other travelers looking for a guest house experience that is comfortable, friendly, authentic if just a little rough around the edges.

The owners were attentive and helpful (even to the point of showing me a better way to drive in & out than GPS sent me!). It's so nice to get off the main road and experience the people in a smaller town.

DIno and his wife were excellent hosts. The property was very clean and welcoming. Rooms were large and well air conditioned. The breakfast was excellent and well priced. Dino made excellent Negronis too. We enjoyed our stay!

A small family run place with 6 rooms. Very nice location. We had our breakfast in the garden. Highly recommended. Ample parking, just make sure that you dont follow the GPS through the village as it takes you through narrow routes. Use the other route and it will be an easy drive. The area is very pretty and the rooms are quite big. They also have an AC if you come in summer. The host is very nice, and they make their own cakes etc. If you are looking for a nice quaint place, do stay here.
