We travel to Leesburg twice a year to visit family and have stayed at most of the name brand hotels in the area. This hotel has the highest rates so we had never tried it until last week. I though it would be nice to stay at a more upscale property for a change and the location is convenient to our family. The staff was extremely friendly and the property very clean. Beyond that we experienced a host of problems: The AC was super loud and did a poor job of cooling the room and there was a musty smell. There were two lights over the counter area. One bulb was not even there and the other kept flickering. The router for the mounted TV was hanging down the wall on its cords. The shower was broken (you could not switch sprays) and since the shower is in enclosed on one end water leaks our all over the floor. The hotel has few amenities (makes sense for the price point), but the two main ones are the pool and the fire pit. We discovered almost immediately that the pool was closed, had been for sometime and the staff was not sure when it would be fixed. The fire pit worked the first night, but when we tried to use it the second and third it was broken. Staff was very apologetic, but unable to fix it. The pool was magically fixed Thursday evening - just in time for Leesburg Bike Week and for us to leave early Friday having not been able to use it at all. We should have gone back to the cheaper option where everything worked. Do not recommend.
