ANABUKI-TEI is a private villa converted from a grand residence in Takamatsu. The entire estate — including a Japanese garden lit up at night and an outdoor spa with a Finnish-style sauna — is reserved exclusively for one group at a time.Takamatsu's art history began 400 years ago with Ritsurin Garden. It continued through a postwar reconstruction shaped by design pioneers such as Kenzo Tange, Isamu Noguchi, and George Nakashima — the origin of "Sanuki Modern" — and lives on today in the art islands of Naoshima. At ANABUKI-TEI, this history is woven into the garden and interiors as well.Owner Eitaro Anabuki personally welcomes every guest, arranging everything from dining to concierge services throughout the stay.ROOMS- Room 1 (ground floor, 52 m²): king bed (convertible to a Hollywood twin configuration on request), private bathroom- Room 2 (second floor, 50 m²): king bed (same as above), private bathroom- Room 3 (second floor, 42 m²): king bed (same as above), private bathroom- Room 4 (second floor, 11 m²): single bed, with a desk — also usable as a children's room or home office (bathroom shared)- A powder room is also available on the ground floor- Comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, with futon bedding available for up to 9DINING- Breakfast: Japanese or Western style, prepared right in front of guests- Dinner: available on request, with a private chef preparing Japanese, Japanese-Italian fusion, or French cuisine
