Gala Suites & Villas

We visited GALA SUITES with our son. The hotel is located in a very nice spot, and the rooms are nice and spacious. We couldn’t imagine then that this so expensive 5-star hotel has not even the basic service. After we took our first shower, we walk in the room barefoot, just to discover that the floor (dark grey we couldn’t see it), was very very dirty, with a lot of black hair (not ours), stack into our feet. Our feet were literally total black. (room was never cleaned after the previous residents) I went to the reception with a video of the dirt on the floor asking to see the manager and complaining about the room. The result? Even if they reassured us that they would take extra care of the room cleaning, this NEVER HAPPENED. They were only making the beds every day. NO cleaning with broom, NO mopping the floor, NO folding the clothes, NO afternoon turn down, NO new towels. They removed the used once and didn’t replace them, so we were left with no shower towels. All these for 4 days. Basic cleaning procedure in a 5-star (not) hotel. Nobody (except two very nice boys in the reception) talked English, so we were just complaining in the reception every day, and nothing was happening. The housekeeping staff couldn’t understand anything. We asked to see the manager more than 6 times, and she refused to appear. We could see her in the hotel, but she was avoiding us! Not even an action showing that they care. AWFUL experienve. Definitely NOT a suggestion !!
