We booked a handicap room with a roll in shower. I was disappointed that the room was a standard room. I went to the front desk and showed her our confirmation and she stated they had no rooms left. To her credit, she scrambled and found one that was being cleaned, but wasn’t a roll in. On a separate note…there was something gross like food hanging from the blinds in the first room and the bathroom looked like it had been cleaned in 10 seconds.

Checking in was relatively easy, staff were nice, room was mostly clean, and overall decently dog friendly. However concrete would have been more comfortable than the bed in our room. Guests outside smoking within 2 ft of the door meant that you had to walk through a cloud to get inside, on top of just how loud everyone was there. We averaged 4 hours of sleep at night regardless of how long we laid in bed. It wasn’t restful and we won’t be returning

This stay was beyond horrible. Stayed one night. Couldn’t find any parking due to no one plowing parking spots in the lot. I ended up parking on a pile of snow. It probably wasn't even a parking spot. Only one person at service desk to check people in and answer phone calls. I waited over an entire hour (yes, over an hour) to even check in, which was prepaid. The receptionist didn’t know online prepaid procedures, and I was almost double charged. She ended up called manager and got things straighten out, however, 4 people still waiting behind me at this time. The hallways smelled horrible. Once you got into the room, the smell was better. Cleanliness was okay, average. Heat worked, thank goodness! Beds were rocks. Pillows pathetic. Toilet was broken. I had to look into tank to fix flushing issue. The TV did not work at all. Displayed a “no signal”. TV remote in room wasn’t even for the TV. Decided to just go to bed, however, all you could hear was a zoo above my room that lasted until midnight. No one had any respect. At 4:30am to 5:45am, fire alarm goes off. No one’s particular fault for this, but it definitely added into the hatred for this place. I will never go back.

Dear Expedia/Woodspring suits Customer Service I’m writing to request a refund for our hotel stay booked through Expedia, starting July 18. We checked in but were forced to leave immediately due to unsafe, unsanitary conditions and false advertising. The pictures portrayed is not what you walk into. Upon arrival, the lobby had a strong chemical odor that worsened on our floor—like rotting food, and chemicals. Our room smelled even worse. The tile floors were sticky and wet, the fridge smelled terrible, and the window only opened half an inch. The hallway was just as bad, so we couldn’t ventilate the space. The shower wouldn’t drain and the toilet handle was broken, making the bathroom unusable. The front desk said the hotel was full and offered us a broken bottle of air freshener, telling us to fix the issues ourselves. Due to health concerns and the unlivable conditions, we couldn’t stay. No one was at the front desk when we tried to check out. That night, we called Expedia to report the issue and request a refund. We were told the hotel needed to approve it. We called the hotel twice—no help the first time, and the second time, they refused a refund. We had to find another hotel at our own expense. This room was clearly uninhabitable, and we are asking Expedia to step in and issue a full refund. We can provide documentation if needed. Thank you, Dates of Stay 7/18- 7-21 but left on the 18 after check in.

The stay went great, except the big issue that there were two very bad pillows for two people, and the front desk says that they had no extra pillows - there's a pillow shortage, somehow, and they haven't had extra pillows for months. So my sleep was terrible, and ruined the stay.

Smells like a skunk on fire. Beds are from a prison. This is not your ordinary hotel. This is a refuge for those in desperate need for a place to stay. If that’s where you are in life then proceed. If you have options, make this your last. Staff was very nice and helpful as they could be but don’t expect turndown service or towels. You will need a car. Office closes at 11~ish…sometimes. Bring candles, incense or some type of spray. Enjoy your stay.

Waited about 20 min for staff to show up to check in during normal business hours. Tv remote was missing & floors were sticky. This place is more intended for people looking to stay long term rather than a few days. No matter what time of day, hallways were filled with somekind of smell, I believe maybe cooked food but unsure as well as someone could be heard having loud or argumentative conversations in their own room.

Clean room. Don't try to check in early, i waited 2 hours. As the man at the front said, they were sold out. But still, logic says that it wouldn't be hard for the cleaning staff to quickly clean a one bed room for me.

It probably wasn't even a parking spot. Only one person at service desk to check people in and answer phone calls. I waited over an entire hour (yes, over an hour) to even check in, which was prepaid. The receptionist didn’t know online prepaid procedures, and I was almost double charged. She ended up called manager and got things straighten out, however, 4 people still waiting behind me at this time. The hallways smelled horrible. Once you got into the room, the smell was better. Cleanliness was okay, average. Heat worked, thank goodness! Beds were rocks. Pillows pathetic. Toilet was broken. I had to look into tank to fix flushing issue. The TV did not work at all. Displayed a “no signal”. TV remote in room wasn’t even for the TV. Decided to just go to bed, however, all you could hear was a zoo above my room that lasted until midnight. No one had any respect. At 4:30am to 5:45am, fire alarm goes off. No one’s particular fault for this, but it definitely added into the hatred for this place. I will never go back.

Checking in after hours was a horrible experience. The lady at the front desk was confrontational, rude & made fun of my voice several times even after i corrected her. I would never stay again after being treated this way.

The property does not have anything within walking distance. It is way off the expressway and I would not recommend to my worst enemy after the way I was treated. In addition they still charged me for 2 nights I did not stay because they threw me out on Friday and charged me money instead of giving back my security deposit.

Dear Expedia/Woodspring suits Customer Service I’m writing to request a refund for our hotel stay booked through Expedia, starting July 18. We checked in but were forced to leave immediately due to unsafe, unsanitary conditions and false advertising. The pictures portrayed is not what you walk into. Upon arrival, the lobby had a strong chemical odor that worsened on our floor—like rotting food, and chemicals. Our room smelled even worse. The tile floors were sticky and wet, the fridge smelled terrible, and the window only opened half an inch. The hallway was just as bad, so we couldn’t ventilate the space. The shower wouldn’t drain and the toilet handle was broken, making the bathroom unusable. The front desk said the hotel was full and offered us a broken bottle of air freshener, telling us to fix the issues ourselves. Due to health concerns and the unlivable conditions, we couldn’t stay. No one was at the front desk when we tried to check out. That night, we called Expedia to report the issue and request a refund. We were told the hotel needed to approve it. We called the hotel twice—no help the first time, and the second time, they refused a refund. We had to find another hotel at our own expense. This room was clearly uninhabitable, and we are asking Expedia to step in and issue a full refund. We can provide documentation if needed. Thank you, Dates of Stay 7/18- 7-21 but left on the 18 after check in.

Smells like a skunk on fire. Beds are from a prison. This is not your ordinary hotel. This is a refuge for those in desperate need for a place to stay. If that’s where you are in life then proceed. If you have options, make this your last. Staff was very nice and helpful as they could be but don’t expect turndown service or towels. You will need a car. Office closes at 11~ish…sometimes. Bring candles, incense or some type of spray. Enjoy your stay.

Arrived and did not have towels, had to wait for laundry to be completed. Bed was essentially a cot with a beat up chair in the corner. Visible dust buildup on tops of walls. Saw many small black bugs throughout visit, then on last day saw multiple cockroaches. Front desk operated on limited hours and when they were there, did not acknowledge guests.

Very disappointed with this stay. We waited over 30 minutes at the front desk before anyone checked us in, and when someone finally arrived, he acted like he didn’t want to be there. After checking in, we went to the room only to find it was already occupied. We returned to the front desk and were given another room, but that one was also unacceptable. The floor was sticky, the bed looked cheap, and the sheets were soiled and had hair in them. The bathtub also had visible dirt. At that point, we left and went to another hotel. Given the condition of the rooms and the overall experience, we are hoping for a full refund. I would not recommend staying here.
