Colonial Lodge Motel

We were disappointed with the accommodation. Shards of glass were left on the floor which in turn ended up in our feet. Not only dangerous but they hurt when embedded in your foot! (Yes we did advise Management at the time). Room was comfortable but very tired. It needs a makeover, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was quite hard too. Parking is not good either. We had to park across the road both nights as the parking spaces are small and limited. We don't even have a large vehicle (FYI - we drive buses so it's not our driving skills at fault here). We're sorry that this is a negative review but we needed to be honest. Our weekend stay here was not a good experience, so we won't be back.

The host was super friendly, we even got escorted to our room. Room was clean and in good location. We even had a partial lake view.

Staff welcoming and helpful. Room clean and well presented.
