Hotel Kernhof Self Check-In

The room was very loud, and the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guest. It was not cleaned until the following day. I did not feel comfortable leaving the hotel in the evening. The following morning, a person was lying directly in front of the entrance, preventing me from opening the door. The police had to be called. As there is no staff on site, there was no immediate assistance available. The AI support was not helpful, and the person I spoke to was rude and unfriendly.

Room daily cleaning did not exist. We needed to ask for fresh towels by WhatsApp. They left the fresh towels and did not remove the used ones. The room was very hot in May, fortunately we saw some fans during the 3rd day of the stay and ask for one, which was very helpful. The bathroom was comfortable as well as the bed.

Location was good, walkable to train station though not super close. I think the walls are thin, can hear chairs getting moved in other rooms (perhaps they should have rubber backing) and lots of noise around our room, even with earplugs. Also need to indicate that there are no elevators in the facility so be ready to climb if assigned a higher floor.
