The water park is very small. There is limited seating. I felt that there was not enough supervision in the lazy river. There were not enough inner tubes available so small children were swimming under the inner tubes and no life jackets were available.

Midweek trip in October... It was lively as nearby schools were on Fall Break but not overwhelmingly crowded. I can see how a trip here could go south if you come at the wrong time but for us it was great. 5 and 9 year old kids loved the water park, rope course, and Magiquest game. Younger one had fun with mini-golf but it's a small course. I was afraid there would be a shortage of rafts/tubes for the tube slides and lazy river based on other reviews but during our stay there were plenty, including for the giant family raft slides. Food was fine, actually the pizza was very good. Easy to head down the street if you want to drive elsewhere or get supplies for the room (for one thing, Costco next door). All the staff we dealt with were friendly. Treat folks as you would like to be treated and usually interactive go well.

I have stayed at two different locations before this one CO & AZ and this was the worst by far. It was way overcrowded and the fact that you have to pay for parking each day for your stay is ridiculous. also half the tubes did not work on the large slides more than half the time.

Fantastic place with small, but nice waterpark - lots to do even though it is small and a range of activities from water slides to wave pool to outdoor swim area. The staff were extremely friendly and even wore wolf ears. Will certainly return again.

It was nice having the Indoor waterpark. However, there was no chairs available to put our stuff down. We had to rent a locker for $15. Also, my child is 42” inches so she was limited on the things she could do. I think the water park and activities are more fitting for an older child. Also when I received my billing statement I had additional fees that I wasn’t aware of. It might be better to book through the Great Wolf Lodge website.

It nice property. But small indoor water area for such a big hotel. There is a lot of rooms and if your room is far you need to walk alot. There is only one set of elevator on each floor for more than 50 rooms a floor. Doors of room are scratched up and banged up. The suite we had was two bedrooms and 2 bathroom. Very nice rooms and clean.

Everything is good the place is nice the rooms are big, 2 things i didn’t like its just that there is to many people waiting for the slides and you have to pay 30 dollars for parking to expensive..

Water park is fun but I’ve been to multiple different GWL and they all have the same issues. 1) The Dunkin Donuts are always poorly ran and a complete dumpster fire. The people working the tubes at the water slides are painfully slow and cause excessive wait times. There’s no fitness center. The restaurant/bar has terrible hours. Paying for parking is a joke and the nickel and diming is excessive. They are fun, but always leave much to be desired.

The water park bathrooms very unsanitary all day long and I will not return due to this. The beds had a kid sock and nasty food in the edges. The evelarors were a huge bottleneck. Need clear direction to tell people to move into the area and not line up outside. The adventure was amazing and one day was plenty to do all. It was a blast overall! Beautifully decorated.

This place was an absolute money pit. For being rather new it shows its age. The tubes in the water park are caked with dust. I never saw one person cleaning in the waterpark. We sat down at a table that was filthy and paid $45 for two drinks. There are no real directions for anything. We went to breakfast and the man that was the cashier had long acrylic shiny nails. Which would be confusing to the four little girls I took. The staff cleaning rooms was EXCELLENT. Very nice and the rooms were clean and tidy. Woke up at 3:30 in the hotel room the sickest I have been since Covid. The girls had a great time but GWL needs to do some cleaning. Also the man in front of the coffee pot at breakfast was in the way. Handing everyone a cup thought he was being useful.

We took our kids here for the first time . They had a blast. The place was big and full of people . We spent three days . Our first two nights were not great. It was so loud and there was a group Of kids yelling and screaming in front of our door at 1am. We called the front desk twice and they said they’d have security come up. They never did . Then the next night a female and her daughter ina screaming match at 2am in front of our door .. it was just a very restless sleep . We left early .

Wolf den room for 6. Two adults then 4 kids (12,10,7,4) and it fit perfect. Nice tv and plenty of room to chill and play. There was PLENTY to do. Surprisingly quiet!!!!!!

I feel it should have been inclusive instead of a la cart. You pay alot of money, just for swimming...bowling and some tokens for the arcade should be included in the proce. And why are there no microwaves in the rooms?

The ONLY restaurant for guests to eat at requires a reservation which isn’t told to you when checking in. The front of the house staff (hosts) were rude, unprofessional and not helpful what so ever. People come from all over to stay at the lodge and have a place to relax and eat. There were no dinner options unless you “get take out”. We didn’t come to eat in our rooms. This trip was for our entire families Christmas present. We love the WL but the restaurant staff is the absolute worst experience.

They said Expedia didn’t charge us. So they charged us twice. Then realized yes Expedia had already charged us so refunded us. Then called us back and said there was an error..there is 6 of us all kids who had waited in line for 30 minutes. Now back in line. Then they tell us o the error went away. You can go now. Very frustrating.

Had an outstanding experience checking in! Dionne was so welcoming and kind. Really started our trip off right after a long drive. Easy and effortless check in and she made us feel so at home. The property is so fun and my kids loved every minute.

The water park is definitely the main attraction for our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. The Lodge is also close to Costco, so we were able to grab inexpensive food just short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This is a great family staycation. They had everything you need for kids to have fun. The place is also conveniently located off the freeway, next to a Costco, and a shopping plaza. Would definitely stay again.

An indoor water park all year round is always fun! Summer is best if you want to lounge and get some sun next to the outdoor pool. Although, charging for parking in Manteca is a little absurd. Most of us come from all over the Bay Area and pay for outrageous parking fees already. It would be nice not to pay parking in MANTECA

This place was a lot of fun. We brought our 16 year old but realized its really better for younger kids. Our teenager and their friend had fun, but the whole water park is aimed at young ones. I bet 10-14 is prime age. Food was fine, and there's a plaza nearby for when you want to get off property for other food. Love the wristbands that allowed for room charges and acted as the door card. So easy to not have to carry a wallet.

The property is well taken care and kept very clean. There’s not much around the area but it is nice since it is a water park resort that keep traffic to a minimum.

It was okay. The room was kind of dusty as I think the vent need to be clean. The room smell musty and the bed was not that comfortable. The activity was okay as we taught the water park would be much bigger as when we went in we feel really hot and our eye was watery from the Clorox. Food was not that good as we’ll need more option. Price is really high for the food that there have.

The food leaves a lot to be desired, it is of poor quality and they have no fresher food options. In addition, I think they could have at least bottles of water in the room. Toilet paper is the most common. I also wanted to buy two small cans of milk for my children and I had to buy more food, that's ridiculous. It seems that they want to charge you even for breathing.

Overpriced and overrated. Room cleanliness & comfort was great. I stayed several days & one morning was woken up by housekeeping banging loudly on my door. I went to check and she and another housekeeper were laughing. She asked if I needed towels and I declined. I’ve never experienced a housekeeper knocking like there’s an emergency early in the morning and then thinking it’s funny. That was terrible. The staff throughout the place were hit or miss with service. Some were very pleasant, others were not. Most restaurant staff were great. The wave pool was so gross. So many people inside I’m sure contributed but it was gross. Also, no one explained to my child how to properly go down a slide. They shouldn’t assume kids know. The food was terrible and extremely expensive. Dunkin’ was a better option cost wise and the pizza place. My kids enjoyed themselves. That was great. It’s just way too expensive. I won’t be returning for a hotel stay again. Maybe a day pass.

Pros: The indoor pool area was great. Your wristband is your hotel room key and wallet. The card you used on file to reserve and pay for the hotel room will be the one connected to your wristband. I say wear water shoes if you can. They have many food and snack options, but if you'd like to leave and eat elsewhere, you can add your car for in-and-out privileges. Cons: I do think they need to pressure wash the floors after the night ends. You can see residue and some debris around the drains and in the crevices, and it could've been someone who forgot to check the area at the end. My hotel room didn't have a microwave, so you can't heat up leftovers.

Clean room, but bunk beds are slippery. Hallways to room are a little dirty when walking as housekeepers just pile garbage from carpet in the middle of walkway. Wet area needs to be maintained better, as the floors pretty dirty as the day goes on. Otherwise, it’s a fun place for kids.

Checking in was a bit complicated lines were very long kiosk machines required information that I did not have due to booking with third-party. Parking is not included so you will have to pay parking rates daily. Make sure to add how many guests will be in your party otherwise you will have to pay out-of-pocket for them as well. If you borrow towel in the pool area areas, make sure to return them or you will be charged a fee. The room was clean however neighbors were noisy. You can hear the noises through the walls. My room was a larger one, however, with not equipped with a microwave. While in the shower, I observed a roach walking on the wall, which was gross. Please do better. This place is always packed and may need better upkeep. The kids had fun overall. Be ready to spend money.
