Great house with plenty of space for a large party. Hosts were very responsive and forthcoming with information before we checked in. Backyard is great for hanging out and we even caught a couple nice catfish off the dock.

We enjoyed our stay at this house for our family reunion. All beds were comfortable. House was clean. Enjoyed the AC game room where kids could play and be loud! Outside we really enjoyed the hot tub (which was cool), volleyball net, giant water slide for kids, corn hole, 2 kayaks, fire pit for marshmallows (they even had firewood in shed), and 2nd floor of dock where we could lay out and see fireworks on July 4. It was also nice to have the option of renting their pontoon boat on-site which we did. A little disappointed that it was a 60 hp engine so didn’t go above 20 mph. So we ended up renting jet skis (offsite) so we could pull a tube behind those. The hosts were responsive while we were there to the questions that we had. Since this house is in a cove, the water next to the dock was pretty dirty and shallow - so only the daring ones ventured to get in. But overall, we really enjoyed this house. Pictures were very accurate.

We had an absolute wonderful time! This property was perfect for our large family!! So much space and the hosts thought of everything! We love the option of renting a boat at the property! Kate and Mina were amazing helping us with all things. The water slide blow up is such an awesome idea and addition for younger children! We absolutely enjoyed all things about our stay!

The house was a great fit for our Women's Retreat. Twelve ladies were comfortable & had plenty to do. Dinner on the dock's upper deck was the best. The house had lots of extras that made things easy - from plenty of plates, cups & silverware to extra throw blankets and towels. The full pot or K-cup options on the coffee maker were a nice surprise. There were many things we didn't get a chance to use - but we did enjoy a paddle out in the kayaks!

Beautiful property and home. We had a wonderful family vacation. Pros: lots of room for everyone, the pictures were exactly as the property was, the game room was a bonus for the kids, everyone enjoyed kayaking, and the decks and the fire pit for s’more’s was so fun! Cons: there needs to be a notebook or some kind of paper copy of general instructions for everything. For example, how to find the router and plug it back in, run the dishwasher, what’s expected of clean up before you leave, and all the things that were on the portals amenities policy guide. We were not able to upload the guide because of the poor Wi-Fi service. The children were really disappointed that they couldn’t watch movies because of the Wi-Fi service. Also, we had issues with the hot tub not getting hot and tried to get in touch and let y’all know but the poor Wi-Fi service wouldn’t allow the back-and-forth. I kept getting replies by email such as take pictures of the hot tub?? I could not send you pictures because of the service issues. Also, some of the lights in the bedrooms would go off and on randomly by themself. I think there might be a glitch in the remotes. But, overall a great family vacation! We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home.

We had a wonderful stay at this Mabank property! The home is beautifully furnished, clean, and very comfortable — it felt like a true getaway. One of our favorite features was the incredible game room. It’s a converted garage with excellent air conditioning and so many options for fun: ping pong, cornhole, ladder toss, and darts. It kept everyone entertained for hours.The separate guest house was perfect for the kids — they loved having their own space to hang out and relax, which gave the adults some breathing room too. The house sits on a peaceful, quiet cove that felt private and serene. While the lake water near the cove had quite a bit of debris during our stay (not the owner’s fault), the setting itself was still lovely.Just a heads-up for boaters: the closest public ramp is a bit of a drive, both by car and by water. There is a private neighborhood ramp, but the property manager didn’t have the gate code during our stay. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to plan around if you’re bringing a boat.Overall, this was a fantastic rental — perfect for families or groups looking to relax and have fun. We’d absolutely come back!

We had a great time staying at this property! There were 20 adults (25+) gathered to celebrate a birthday on the lake. The house was absolutely perfect and accommodated all of us very well. The air conditioned garage space is the true hidden gem of this house! It was the perfect spot for everyone to get together and play games. The house gets COLD! It was amazing during these 100+ degree days. We used the kitchen to the max and grilled out all without any issues. The wifi/service is not great, but usable.

This is a wonderful property. Our family rents a beach or lake house every summer, and this one was easily my fave! Very well-stocked, lots of thoughtful details, and beautifully decorated. The kids had a blast with the lily pad, the inflatable water slide, and all the activities in the air-conditioned garage. The adults loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch in the evenings. The family members who stayed in the guest house were very comfortable but noted there really wasn’t a place to hang towels, so maybe bring some over-the-door hooks. All in all, a wonderful week was had by all and we would highly recommend this property!

So many beds and things to do. Tons of things like: jet ski, pontoon, water slide, games, ping pong, shuffle board, darts. However, lots of things were broken; hinges on cabinets, drawers, starters on grill, chairs on patios, dishwasher was poorly put into space and leaked. We also had started by asking about a dock for our boat. However, on arrival they still had their pontoon docked. We had to wait several hours for them to move it. Overall a good stay, not sure if we would come back though.

We spent 5 days/4 nights and had the absolute best time! The property was very well taken care of and perfect for kids. We had two 1 year olds and a 5 year old and 7 adults. It was easy for us to spread out and there was plenty for everyone to do, from games and fun to relaxing. The garage/game room was great for the kids to run around in. They also had a fun inflatable water slide outside for the kids. The kitchen had just about everything you needed which was great and made cooking easier. If we could change 3 things, it would be: 1. Thicker blinds (lights from outside and lightning really shine in) 2. More towels (there was enough for 1 a person however 2 a person would have been nice) 3. Dynatrap to handle the fruit fly problem in the kitchen These were all very minor things and did not impact our stay; just nice to haves. We hope to come back again next year!

A beautiful, very clean property with a shady, fenced backyard and additional small guesthouse. The kids loved the backyard toys and the lily pad which we took out on the lake. There is a nice kitchen for those who like to cook and the beds were very comfortable which is a big plus for me. Very enjoyable.

This house was outstanding! It seems recently remodeled and has nice modern furniture. Alot of sitting and entertaining space. The cottage is a super nice bonus. We were in town for a wedding and the cottage was perfect for the bride and her bridal party. The view from the back deck was amazing. We spent alot of time out there. They have tons of cool outdoor furniture and places to enjoy the outdoors...the deck...the dock...the firepit. The beds were comfy and everything was well stocked and taken care of. I would stay here again and again. Beautiful, peaceful, clean property!!

We had a wonderful Labor Day lake trip! The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen! The beds were comfy but we had to buy extra blankets because the house was so cold! The main bedroom in the cottage does not have an AC so we stuck a fan in there. The yard is beautiful and there are tons of yard games and an inflatable water slide that our kids enjoyed! The house uses an app based system for checkin/out instructions which is a cool idea but a book would have worked better for our group. The major cons for our visit were the lake level and the Wi-Fi. The dock is completely dry and the water in the cove is stagnant and unsafe. While the lake level can’t be controlled we wish we’d had a heads up to know that there was no way to play in the water by the house and the closest usable ramp is a good 20 min drive.

Had a great time. It’s a lovely location (despite the drive in past a few unsightly properties). Wish we had had more time to enjoy the lake and fire pit. Like other reviews mentioned- WiFi isn’t great so prepare to unplug or download any movies or shows you plan to catch up on.

Beautiful property and home. We had a wonderful family vacation. Pros: lots of room for everyone, the pictures were exactly as the property was, the game room was a bonus for the kids, everyone enjoyed kayaking, and the decks and the fire pit for s’more’s was so fun! Cons: there needs to be a notebook or some kind of paper copy of general instructions for everything. For example, how to find the router and plug it back in, run the dishwasher, what’s expected of clean up before you leave, and all the things that were on the portals amenities policy guide. We were not able to upload the guide because of the poor Wi-Fi service. The children were really disappointed that they couldn’t watch movies because of the Wi-Fi service. Also, we had issues with the hot tub not getting hot and tried to get in touch and let y’all know but the poor Wi-Fi service wouldn’t allow the back-and-forth. I kept getting replies by email such as take pictures of the hot tub?? I could not send you pictures because of the service issues. Also, some of the lights in the bedrooms would go off and on randomly by themself. I think there might be a glitch in the remotes. But, overall a great family vacation! We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely home.

This house was outstanding! It seems recently remodeled and has nice modern furniture. Alot of sitting and entertaining space. The cottage is a super nice bonus. We were in town for a wedding and the cottage was perfect for the bride and her bridal party. The view from the back deck was amazing. We spent alot of time out there. They have tons of cool outdoor furniture and places to enjoy the outdoors...the deck...the dock...the firepit. The beds were comfy and everything was well stocked and taken care of. I would stay here again and again. Beautiful, peaceful, clean property!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Mabank property! The home is beautifully furnished, clean, and very comfortable — it felt like a true getaway. One of our favorite features was the incredible game room. It’s a converted garage with excellent air conditioning and so many options for fun: ping pong, cornhole, ladder toss, and darts. It kept everyone entertained for hours.The separate guest house was perfect for the kids — they loved having their own space to hang out and relax, which gave the adults some breathing room too. The house sits on a peaceful, quiet cove that felt private and serene. While the lake water near the cove had quite a bit of debris during our stay (not the owner’s fault), the setting itself was still lovely.Just a heads-up for boaters: the closest public ramp is a bit of a drive, both by car and by water. There is a private neighborhood ramp, but the property manager didn’t have the gate code during our stay. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to plan around if you’re bringing a boat.Overall, this was a fantastic rental — perfect for families or groups looking to relax and have fun. We’d absolutely come back!

We had a great time staying at this property! There were 20 adults (25+) gathered to celebrate a birthday on the lake. The house was absolutely perfect and accommodated all of us very well. The air conditioned garage space is the true hidden gem of this house! It was the perfect spot for everyone to get together and play games. The house gets COLD! It was amazing during these 100+ degree days. We used the kitchen to the max and grilled out all without any issues. The wifi/service is not great, but usable.

This is a wonderful property. Our family rents a beach or lake house every summer, and this one was easily my fave! Very well-stocked, lots of thoughtful details, and beautifully decorated. The kids had a blast with the lily pad, the inflatable water slide, and all the activities in the air-conditioned garage. The adults loved the hot tub and sitting on the porch in the evenings. The family members who stayed in the guest house were very comfortable but noted there really wasn’t a place to hang towels, so maybe bring some over-the-door hooks. All in all, a wonderful week was had by all and we would highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful Labor Day lake trip! The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen! The beds were comfy but we had to buy extra blankets because the house was so cold! The main bedroom in the cottage does not have an AC so we stuck a fan in there. The yard is beautiful and there are tons of yard games and an inflatable water slide that our kids enjoyed! The house uses an app based system for checkin/out instructions which is a cool idea but a book would have worked better for our group. The major cons for our visit were the lake level and the Wi-Fi. The dock is completely dry and the water in the cove is stagnant and unsafe. While the lake level can’t be controlled we wish we’d had a heads up to know that there was no way to play in the water by the house and the closest usable ramp is a good 20 min drive.

Property managers were very responsive to questions and issues. There were a few maintenance issues needing attention. Our cousins' retreat attendees (ages 86-65) had a great time together. Location is very convenient to restaurants, etc. I recommended that luggage racks be put in each bedroom. It was an accessibility challenge with luggage on the floor.

We had an absolute wonderful time! This property was perfect for our large family!! So much space and the hosts thought of everything! We love the option of renting a boat at the property! Kate and Mina were amazing helping us with all things. The water slide blow up is such an awesome idea and addition for younger children! We absolutely enjoyed all things about our stay!

We had a wonderful time here. Due to freezing temps, the pipes burst in the small house but the property owner was very quick to get help to us. She was in complete communication with us and willing to help us with whatever we needed. The kids loved the garage with all the games! We would rent again!

So many beds and things to do. Tons of things like: jet ski, pontoon, water slide, games, ping pong, shuffle board, darts. However, lots of things were broken; hinges on cabinets, drawers, starters on grill, chairs on patios, dishwasher was poorly put into space and leaked. We also had started by asking about a dock for our boat. However, on arrival they still had their pontoon docked. We had to wait several hours for them to move it. Overall a good stay, not sure if we would come back though.

Had a great time. It’s a lovely location (despite the drive in past a few unsightly properties). Wish we had had more time to enjoy the lake and fire pit. Like other reviews mentioned- WiFi isn’t great so prepare to unplug or download any movies or shows you plan to catch up on.

We enjoyed our stay at this house for our family reunion. All beds were comfortable. House was clean. Enjoyed the AC game room where kids could play and be loud! Outside we really enjoyed the hot tub (which was cool), volleyball net, giant water slide for kids, corn hole, 2 kayaks, fire pit for marshmallows (they even had firewood in shed), and 2nd floor of dock where we could lay out and see fireworks on July 4. It was also nice to have the option of renting their pontoon boat on-site which we did. A little disappointed that it was a 60 hp engine so didn’t go above 20 mph. So we ended up renting jet skis (offsite) so we could pull a tube behind those. The hosts were responsive while we were there to the questions that we had. Since this house is in a cove, the water next to the dock was pretty dirty and shallow - so only the daring ones ventured to get in. But overall, we really enjoyed this house. Pictures were very accurate.

There was plenty of room for all 16 of us. The shuffleboard, ping ping, and other games in the garage gave us plenty to do. The boys especially enjoyed the kayaks and were able to catch a couple fish. The Christmas tree was a nice extra touch!
