Private Beach Cottage on Lake Huron

We had 11 ladies all in their 60's. The house was a perfect fit. Plenty of room to gather. Loved the very large dinning table that could accommodate all of us at one time. Having the bike trail right in front of the property was very nice. We would stay again!

The house and property are beautiful and very accommodating. The host is so easy to work with and communicate with. We will be back!

The house is big enough for our family girls trip which is usually 12-14 although this year we were short 4 girlsvery well stocked ,beds were comfortable and there is a game room downstairs! Actually, this is probably the best house we have rented in the past 6 years.people

We loved the house with all the comfy chairs,the large table and roomy kitchen. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Having four bathrooms was great and the view of the lake was priceless. Kyle was a super host and always responded quickly. The men in the group loved the pinball machine saying it took them back to their teens. We would love to stay here often, it was perfect for us.

Pros: This home was a perfect location on the beach, but also a private feel. There was ample room for our large group size, plenty of room to move. The house also came with all the amenities you could think of; linens, towels, dishes, cookware, grill, dishwasher, toys for the kids, tv's in every room, puzzles and games. Property manager & Owner were very prompt in their responses when reaching out. Cons: The listing is not fully accurate. There is no hot tub, jet tub, or anything of the sort even though it is listed as having one. The home could use a very, very deep clean. While it had everything you could imagine you would need plus more, it lacked cleanliness. Dishes and serving wear were available to use, but needed washed before using. The floors (even with the understanding it is a beach house and there will never be a way to get rid of all the sand) did not appear to have been cleaned. It looks like the cleaning crew only vacuumed & swept removing loose dirt and skipped mopping. Our first night of the stay the upstairs toilet started malfunctioning and the property manager & owner were not able to tend to this for the duration of our stay. Yes, there are 4 bathrooms, but we did not have full functionality of all. Overall, good stay. Would recommend if you are ok with a little cleaning as you go.
