Spent my birthday weekend at this home with our friends and their children. For a beach house, we thought it was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and loved the layout. Just a short walk from the beach with an awesome hot tub, it made for a wonderful stay. Will definitely be back here again.

Beautiful home and location. Home was exactly as described in listing. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Host was very responsive. I loved that there was beach gear we could actually use. Plenty of games to play. Check in and out was easy. I'd like to thank the hosts for their suggestions and troubleshooting sections in the home manual!

The house was great - well stocked kitchen, easy walk to the beach access at the end of the street, hot tub, etc. My wife and I loved taking walks on the beach each morning (met lots of friendly people and dogs). It was dark and clear enough one night that we got some excellent pictures of the Milky Way, too. We would gladly visit/stay again.

This was our second time staying at the Sea Star Haven and would gladly stay again. The short walk to the beach (if you take the hill/rock path) always provides amazing views. The house is well stocked for cooking and the hot tub, air hockey, and pool table never fail to keep everyone entertained. The double set of washers and dryers are super helpful as well.

We stayed at Sea Star Haven for two nights from Wednesday, October 16 to Friday morning, October 18. Overall, it was a good experience. The house is beautiful, cozy, and very clean, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, there are a few things that future guests should be aware of to better prepare for their stay: 1. **No Cell Service**: Once you get into town, there is no cell service. Be sure to plan ahead if you need communication or navigation tools that rely on cellular data. 2. **Limited Dining Options**: The only restaurant in town Coastal Kitchen is closed Monday through Wednesday, so be sure to bring all your meals with you, especially if you're staying mid-week like we did. 3. **Raccoons at Night**: There's a family of raccoons living under the house next door, and they got into the trash and were quite loud during the night. If you're taking out trash after dark, be cautious. They are very cute but very feisty! 4. **Power Outage**: On our last night, the power went out. While the backup generator worked for a while, we had no Wi-Fi or power when we woke up in the morning. This meant no coffee, no hot breakfast, and we had to take cold showers. The power didn’t come back on until 9:45 am, which was quite inconvenient since check-out is at 11 am. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, but just be mindful of these things to ensure you’re fully prepared!

We were looking for a place to get away and relax for a few days that was close to the Bay Area and this place fit the bill. Easy to get to in beautiful area. The house was clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. We loved playing cards on the deck and enjoyed the hot tub for those foggy evenings. Easy access to Point Reyes and Tomales Bay for oysters and cheese tasting and Bodega Bay right to the north for beautiful hikes. Great getaway with all the conveniences of home.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Star Haven! I went with some girlfriends for the weekend. The home is beautiful and clean. Linda’s guestbook provides detailed instructions on how to work everything in the home. The check in and out process was easy. The location is great with a short walk to the beach. We would definitely come back here again!

Excellent location with walking path to Dillon beach. climbing sand dunes, running with the waves, watching the surfers....Small town within walking distance with excellent baked goods!! House was clean and so welcoming. Well laid out with air hockey, pool table, and hide-a-way for kids.... Would definitely return! Linda was so kind. checking in after the first night to make sure all was well...

Beautiful home. Close to the beach, for a lovely walk! Our favorite spot to read is the bench seat, in the sun, overlooking the neighborhood, with a peak of the ocean! Very comfortable home!

This vacation home was perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Spent 2 days downtown San Fran and the rest of the week at Sea Star Haven, walking the beach, in the hot tub or getting a workout walking the neighborhood streets. One day visited a couple Vineyards in Sonoma, another at Muir Woods and hiked the Bodega Trail. All family friendly fun. Linda was a very friendly and responsive host, when we had any questions. We enjoyed our stay at Sea Star Haven and would stay again. Thank You Linda.

We so enjoyed the home - decorated and furnished beautifully, so warm and inviting. Easy check-in, great communication with the owner, no problems. Super, super easy check-out instructions. Location was amazing, short walk to Dillon Beach store. This neighborhood is full of short-term rentals, but I like to think this was the nicest of them all!

We had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful and a great location. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. There is one shower in the hallway downstairs that leaked water when used. Just wanted to mention that.

Sea Star Haven was a perfect house for our little vacation. We loved that there were activities to occupy us on the foggy days and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was my favorite part- it had everything we needed!

The house waws nicely appointed and perfectly laid out for our stay. The decor exudes coastal casual but with all the higher end touches you want for a vacation. I especially appreciated the prompt response for check-in and question during our stay. We didn't long for anything during our stay.

We absolutely loved staying here. The kids had a blast and everything was very well thought out and well supplied. The proximity to the beach was amazing as well. We will def stay here again.

Beautiful home and location. Home was exactly as described in listing. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Host was very responsive. I loved that there was beach gear we could actually use. Plenty of games to play. Check in and out was easy. I'd like to thank the hosts for their suggestions and troubleshooting sections in the home manual!

The house was great - well stocked kitchen, easy walk to the beach access at the end of the street, hot tub, etc. My wife and I loved taking walks on the beach each morning (met lots of friendly people and dogs). It was dark and clear enough one night that we got some excellent pictures of the Milky Way, too. We would gladly visit/stay again.

This was our second time staying at the Sea Star Haven and would gladly stay again. The short walk to the beach (if you take the hill/rock path) always provides amazing views. The house is well stocked for cooking and the hot tub, air hockey, and pool table never fail to keep everyone entertained. The double set of washers and dryers are super helpful as well.

Sea Star Haven was a perfect house for our little vacation. We loved that there were activities to occupy us on the foggy days and an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was my favorite part- it had everything we needed!

We stayed at Sea Star Haven for two nights from Wednesday, October 16 to Friday morning, October 18. Overall, it was a good experience. The house is beautiful, cozy, and very clean, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, there are a few things that future guests should be aware of to better prepare for their stay: 1. **No Cell Service**: Once you get into town, there is no cell service. Be sure to plan ahead if you need communication or navigation tools that rely on cellular data. 2. **Limited Dining Options**: The only restaurant in town Coastal Kitchen is closed Monday through Wednesday, so be sure to bring all your meals with you, especially if you're staying mid-week like we did. 3. **Raccoons at Night**: There's a family of raccoons living under the house next door, and they got into the trash and were quite loud during the night. If you're taking out trash after dark, be cautious. They are very cute but very feisty! 4. **Power Outage**: On our last night, the power went out. While the backup generator worked for a while, we had no Wi-Fi or power when we woke up in the morning. This meant no coffee, no hot breakfast, and we had to take cold showers. The power didn’t come back on until 9:45 am, which was quite inconvenient since check-out is at 11 am. Small general store within walking distance,Their ice cream was a hit.It’s nice to be able to walk to the beach. beautiful ocean views from the kitchen nook.The little ones love the bonus room perfect kids area. The host was great getting back to us quickly.There was a big wind storm and knocked out the power, but the house has solar, which was great to keep the fridge running.Getting cell service was a problem, so the Wi-Fi helped out a lot.Good thing we took screenshots of the directions before leaving the house.cell Service did go in and out.The house had everything we needed from kitchen needs to bedding and towels and were well kept. Great stay!
