Private Studio in Carmichael w/Netflix, Disney+

The unit had not been cleaned prior to our visit and did not match the photos. We arrived at 1am due to a delayed flight to find this place looked nothing like the pictures. The main light was missing the light cover. The secondary light would not stay on due to a short. The bathroom had a single squirt of soap left. The rug was missing in the main room. The nice duvet in the pictures was replaced with a plain blue duvet. The outlets show signs of damage. The vinyl floor is poorly repaired in multiple places.As we settled down for bed, we realized the sheets had not been cleaned. There was sand in the sheets. We found hair and a dead ant. The mattress was disintegrating in strange ways. We were exhausted and out of options for the night.In the morning light, the situation was even worse than we realized. We found sticky stains on the sheets with hair matted into them. We found dead ants across a significant portion of the room. After we left early, the host still charged us a large cleaning fee, citing the need to pay their cleaners. For what, I can only guess, because the unit wasn't clean for us.

This place was perfectly located to everything we needed for our stay. Communication with property management was quick and easy. Several small items needed (tongs, oven mits) would help enhance this place, but would stay here again!

We had a pleasant week stay to visit family in Sacramento area. The unit is in a good location for us and very clean. Our first Vrbo property after RV traveling the past 15 years and this unit did not disappoint.
